week 5 when the thrips first showed themselves. I noticed them cuz some silver stains started appearing on some leaves. you can see them better under LED light. So, I sprayed Neem Oil all over the plant. I could notice that if you don't do it well, spraying and rubbing the leaves with a piece of cloth, the oil will also create some stains. 2nd topping. killed some thrips this week, they're cute and didn't seem to harm the plant seriously. Neem oil worked fine to control them. No other pests that I could notice + Defoliation + LST Flowermind (4ml + 0.5g)

will have to see but at 8 & 10 weeks, i think they look a little small. as long as i continue watering, this new maxsisun mf2000 should fatten these buds up. cant wait for next grow with the new light in 3x3 tent. this is becoming the best hobby i can recall next to working in my garden all summer. and this grow diary is great as you can have an honest review of progress etc...i have learned so much from this community. Hello! I am back! Welcome to day 76, almost the end of week seven for Poppy the Purple OG Punch. I am not going to be able to compete in the contest as she is not yet ready so my first two competition entries end in total failure. Poppy has suffered multiple snapped colas in the move, and a lack of training, but she is doing okay, buds are fattening nicely. Height 82cm, she was fertigated 10l about 4 days ago, and 7.5l today.

Day 30, the ladies seem to like the increase in Co2. I’m still battling the mysterious leaf spots. I sprayed them with Neem Oil just in case it’s some kind of fungus or septoria. This should stop it from spreading if it is. Still maintaining a 6.0 pH. They get a nutrients change in a couple days, I am going to give them a full dose of CalMag, it’s recommended at 5ml/gal and I’ve been giving them 4ml/gal. It’s RO water so CalMag is definitely needed. **I have solved the mysterious leaf spot issue. It’s a Calcium deficiency 100%. Going to raise the pH to 6.2-6.3 and give them full doses of CalMag and see how they respond. Upped their feeding this evening and changed their res. #1&2 are getting 7.5g/gal of each V1 and V2 from FloraFlex nutrients. #3 is getting 10ml/gal of Advanced Nutrients MGB, and 8ml/gal of B-52 Day 31, decided to give the girls a little trim today. #2 and #3 more specifically because they had huge fan leaves blocking out light to some lower sites. Hopefully this doesn’t endure too much stress on them. I’ve also had the lights dimmed this whole time, decided to amp it up to 100% power. Will update again in 2-3 days to see how their responding. Day 35, #1 was showing brown spots again, I think I may be giving them too much nutrients. I dropped the PPMs from 1080 to 880 and adjusted the pH because it was dropping. pH has stayed stable over past 24 hours, plant doesn’t have any affected new growth. I gave all the ladies another trim as they were getting pretty bushy. Still not officially flowering yet they should be starting here really soon though. I’ve never grown an Autoflower before but I’ll learn.

Defoliated throughout the days. The past week nutrients fed were at ph 5.7/5.8. Switched to 6.0 now. Smell is strong. Friend commented he could smell the red pop upon entering the front door immediately. Feeding to run off every other day still. Added calmag this week. Not sure if I will continue to use or not. I do not want it to affect colors from changing as I approach later into flower. Added a temp & humidity meter this week. Usually reset once a day, or every other day.

Noted that the white dandruff coming out the runoff was indeed spring tails. looks like they have made a home in my medium and I don't care. must be eating all the dead shit. Still ph'ing my water up to combat the acidic whatever in the pots. maybe this is from the spring tails or bacteria in there. good thing is they eat mold and other nastiness in the soil. This seedstockers plant I am noticing as the most white pistils then every other plant, wondering if it is going to go a bit longer till its ready. PLEASE READ TO THE VERY BOTTOM. so you'll be thinking WTF is this I'm seeing ? weeeellll....I put myself on a task to see what I could do to grow decent grade cannabis with minimal supplies that a newbie would use for example.... outdoor dirt, expect I mixed 25% canna pro soil , cheap nutrients, non PH'd water and leaving it outside to feel the wrath of mold and things like that..... it was started in march under a 300w cfl for 1 week then left outside, I had fungal issues because I was water the leafs and leaving it out in the heat done on purpose), I left bugs on it and just general things that would happen to the newbie outdoor grower. it wasn't till I seen pre flowers I started using my indoor and general garnering skills to get the plant back to normal. I wasn't doing this for yield I was doing this as a bet and to prove.... you don't need all this fancy stuff or to be brilliant..... all you need is good genetics and a bit of love,care and skill with plants and you'll be rewarded for your time. also growing any cannabis plant in non ideal conditions probably isn't easy for the newbie grower but this is just to show it can be done in the UK even when you Fu#k up on purpose or not.... you'll still get nice cannabis.....NOW... after the tangerine autoflower is done I will be starting my next round of photoperiods in my tent so now I can bring you along and show you how I would normally grow cannabis instead if these kinda rubbish examples and show you some good looking, well grown buds along with a few other auto house plants☺.

I think they are closer to done than I previously thought. All clear on trichomes though. Two more weeks?

🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH.
