7/1/23 - Day 19 I do water changes weekly. The new weeks start off with a water change. Water changes always scare me, it's the mixing of nutes and balancing the PH. It sounds easy in theory but in practice you want to interfere with the PH asap. But I was able to let the LEAF box empty the water, I filled it up with RO water, LEAF then dosed all my nutes. After that i came in a PH balanced it. (PH balance is something LEAF will be able to do, but there was a bug in the software so instead of having LEAF dose the PH i decided to do it manually for now. The Roots are INSANE! I bet by time I'm done there will be 1+ gallons of water displaced by the roots. I almost started cutting her lower leaves at the base, but I decided to let them grow for a bit. If they grow out some more i will be able to scrogg them and then cut the leaves below after they are trained up a bit. The lights have kicked on and everything looks in order. The plant looks great too, she might be in a small amount of WTF because of all the PH changes but i think the drastic changes were kept to a minimum. She looks happy. As always ill update you tomorrow. 7/3/23 - Day 21- I trimmed some of the lower leaves on the bottom, I'm leaving her bushy still, I won't want to cut any more branches if I can, I need the branches from the bottom to reach the sides of the Scrogg net. In the next couple of days being apple to Scrogg and stretch her while Shes still moldable. 7/5/23 - Day 23 - I added some training lines to some of the branches. I need them to be as spread out as possible going into the Scrogg net. I'm a big fan of not trimming too much as she grows. I don't mind there being some foliage down below. I will cut as needed if it looks like the lower areas are sprouting too much of the little leaves, but for the most part, I let nature do its thing. She's drinking a ton of water now. I am getting my RO water dropped off by the five gal loads. I just got the membrane for my RO150 unit that I plan on having up and running within a couple of weeks so I can start making my own water. 7/6/23 - Day 24 - I added a picture of my RO water setup. It cannot be set up permanently, so this was a great solution. You can see how I was able to tie my branches down, next time I will drill a few holes on the side of the pot. This is a great solution for anyone looking to Scrogg and manage the vertical height. Also, you can see on the top branch there was some pulling, so much so that it started to pull the plant and it created a small lump. All good but just goes to show how pliable these plants are. Today will be Day 64. Getting close to Harvest Day. Let me tell you. The smell was unexpected stink up the place and outside the grow tent as I come home. I also clean the bottom up little more and removed the dead 🍁. I use Cha Ching on Week 9 and on Week 10 will be the flushing week. Stay tune!

Tuesday, day 50. Half journey is gone and now is just patience and care.. only the right amount of water, not too much and not many times per week - maybe tomorrow, friday and sunday. The Nana is the tallest now, since it wasnt stressed by any kind of activity, she’s presenting a beautiful purple tone on her leafs and flowers begin to grow very well. The other topped girls looks pretty same, 55cm in height, a lot of dense buds cover my stems, yeah! The fimmed girl is the shortest but the biggest in terms of yeld! I wanna see the difference between the three metods and see which one works better with the genetic! Sunday - day 55 - cold is dropping hard during these days, temperature start colling down of 1-2°C and I’m worried about the plants.. how can I avoid to kill them with the cold? What’s the minimum temperature for this genetic? Now I’m hitting 15 during the night phase and 17.5-18 during the daily phase (between 6pm and 6am).

Started flowering this past week, tied down a few days ago to get light to all the sites, minor defoliating done also, kind of let these 2 do there thing more really than last time, they look good not very tall but we will see what next week brings 👌

This week went well for the Durban Nights. Not much to report, she hit day 14 today and is working on her 3rd node, I will transplant her in 48 hours, then hopefully top her in about a week or less. I will wait for her to grow at least 7 nodes so I am sure her roots are solid before the topping, but she will absolutely explode after transplanted into coco coir so that shouldnt be a problem. I will also complete the first two sets of toppings at the 3rd node, so that should shave a little time off as well as I previously completed the 2nd and 3rd toppings at the 5th and 3rd node to further spread out the plant. Super excited for this strain as it is a cross of Durban Thai and Jack Herer which are two of my favorite Sative Strains. I hope everyone has a safe weekend. The lady has developed wonderfully 😊. The buds keep getting thicker and smell better :-). This week I added 1 g GHSC enhancer per l Coco. in total it was poured twice with 1.2 l each time. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters. The tent was completely cleaned and each plant was checked individually under the magnifying glass. Otherwise a few little things were done like yellow boards against sciarid mosquitoes and blue boards to prevent tripods. have fun with the update. At the end of week 4 the Dough boy feminised takes its shape. The growth of the plant has almost ceased only growing 3cm this week. The pistols are almost at full capacity and have filled the internodes at its peak exceptionally. Her leaves are beginning to dull with most of her energy being used up to swell the calyxes. She’s looking good and stands at approximately 65cm tall she will be fed as required.

The Gelato is growing regularly hopefully well. We spray neem solution + potassium soap every 3 days for protection and lord grow nourishing foliar every 15 days for leaf nutrition and co2 protection.

Excited and impatient, starting to come on really well now, everything is going ok as it has been all the way through other than a little struggle with keeping the heat down in the grow tent during the first few weeks in veg, bigger tent and all is ok now, small signs of nutrient burn of a feed this week but don't think anything to be worried about from other diaries i have seen.
