This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

This week the weather is better. The buds are getting fat and it is developing well. Smells like baked sweet.

Day 29: Pre-flowering did start. Changing now to Hesi Nutrients. Watered them with 1,25 l. Since they are not dried completely out. Wanted to boost them into flower now! Letting them dry out now to the half of total weight. Day 64: I've been on vacation for four days now. However, I was able to keep an eye on everything remotely using the spiderfarmer app. They look great. The Pink Cookies and the Purple Kush have grown quite a bit taller. The buds have generally grown larger and the first frost is visible. I watered all the plants with 2 liters of water mixed with fertilizer and Cal Mag. More shoots have also woven into the web. Day 65: Not much has changed since yesterday. The plants look healthy and happy. I lowered the light by 10 cm. I hung the fan over the lamp and set it to a faster speed. The flowers look beautiful. Since the Pink Gelato is growing taller now, I had to adjust the humidifier a bit. What varieties are you currently growing? Day 66: The girls are doing well! Today I defoliated the plants again. I decided to remove some of the leaves so that the top buds would grow nicely and I'd have as few popcorn buds as possible. I hope it wasn't too much. I also watered all three plants with 2 liters of water mixed with Hesi-Bio-Bloom and Cal Mag. Unfortunately, it's still quite warm in the tent. Do you have any ideas how I can get the temperature down? Day 67: Everything's still going well. They've taken the defoliation well so far and look healthy. Day 68: Today I gave them another 2 liters of water with fertilizer and cal mag. They look beautiful and have another 5-6 weeks to develop the flowers! Day 69: Today, all three girls received 2 liters of water with fertilizer and Cal Mag. I also raised the Purple Kush and created a raised area underneath it. I also increased the humidity to counteract the heat. Day 70: Today, all three girls were given 2 liters of water with fertilizer and CalMag. Otherwise, not much has happened. The buds are getting bigger and bigger. Unfortunately, it's still too hot in the tent—I hope it cools down soon!

Harvest day was 89. Short: Frosty plant, density is lacking, lots of leafs, some mutation, slow growing but big in the end, smells good skunky fruity for now, will update after cure. I have to compare this one to my other plant the Ultra G13 and Brain Freeze lacks a lot. It grows kinda slow, buds are not nearly as dense, trimming was horrible, overall I would say 50/50 fluffy/dense compared to the Ultra G13 85% dense and 15% kinda but not really fluffy in the same system under the same conditions. Total wet yield is just fine, can't say anything bad about that, this is limited by my tent, would have gotten more with this plant as a solo one in the 2x4. Managed to get the Net Cup out of the tube compared to the Ultra G13 which I had to saw of. Overall I would say a plant one can do but nothing to chase for, might update that after cure who knows. Update: dried weight is 280g total, 50/50 dense and fluffy buds but all are frosty, smells like sweet candy, overall a great yield that I did not expect, was kinda stressed with this one since it only came to its potential in the last few weeks but it did came. Will not grow it again in the near future but maybe some time later. Did bake some brownies with it but didn't count how much so I did not add that to the total yield.

I like what I see. But I'm disturbing about a plant-to-lamp distance: it is too short. It's 30-31 c° already and I'm trying to keep low tempereture in my place. Also, now I'm using regular crane water instead of demineralised one. Week ends.

Week 0 Day 1 Alrighty my first grow ever but I’ve done my research through growweedeasy.com. And I’ve decided to go with 70/30 mix of coco coir and pelucite into 5 gallon fabric pots dosed with Cal Mag; and I’m planning on feeding it with FloraTrio next week. Week 0 Day 2 They split around hour 19! Gonna wait for it to grow a little more then transfer into rapid rooter that came with the kit. Just Transferred into the rooter and keeping it warm on top of my pc, hoping to see some sort of sprouting by day 3/4 and good weather to transfer these babies over. So far, I’m just keeping the ziplok bag moist with 5.5-6.5 pH balanced water. Week 0 Day 3 Transferred the rooters into the final pot for the rest of their growth, these puppies are fast growers ! pH is a consistent 6.0, and I’m keeping them in my garage since it’s 60F outside. Hoping for warmer weather, at least when she sprouts her first couple of leaves. Week 0 Day 4 Just transferred the pots outside, hoping to get those sprouts some fresh sunlight. And hoping the good weather holds up. I think I should be able to start the coco coir nutrient schedule tomorrow.
