Hi All, The week was pretty uneventful, the plant is developing nicely. I removed a leave here and there to make sure maximum light exposure in the middle of the canopy is guaranteed. The buds stopped stretching so I’ll will stop with the boost and add the pk 13/14 to help with the fattening. Dried and smoked a few of the lowest popcorn buds and they are by all means not there, but smell and taste pretty awesome. I have also added a few pictures of the new box that I have built for the cuttings. The box was build pretty low budget, however I will still need to add a better light source as I am currently running on only 60W veg lights. Was planning to buy the Greenception GCx5solo 150W full spectrum LED, as it would fit exactly Inside the box.

I'm considering taking cuttings but I only have one grow tent and I'm not sure I can keep the cuttings until my tent is ready to accommodate them. 🤔 I'm doing a little defoliation this week and I'll continue for the weeks to come. 🌿 Lava Cake – Week 5 (First Week Flower) | Pre-Bloom & Heat Talk 🌿 The Lava Cakes have officially stepped into their flowering tent… though, to be fair, they’re still enjoying a little extra veg time before showing pistils. Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. Flower day 17 - All the ladies are looking great, starting to see a lot of bud sights & the smell is definitely getting stronger everyday I open the tent! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!🌱✌️🏼 Flower day 19- Got a bigger dehumidifier because I was having problems on days I would water the humidity would go through the roof at night so to prevent mold I bought a bigger dehumidifier but now it is throwing off so much heat the tent is pushing 90 degrees F at some points throughout the day so I’m not exactly sure how to fix the issue! Will definitely not be running so many plants in the next run for the 5x5! Hopefully things get better!😅😅

looking very pretty in the tent indeed!! only one liberty haze plant in there but she is looking very plump already with a month or so to go. she gonna be a lovely lady indeed. continually defoiling the odd leaf here and there but overall a bit bushier than last run. not a whole lot to report back this week. fairly smooth sailing and not many changes except plumping up! so until next week my friends 😊

First day of week 7 All plants are healthy and ready for flush, two more weeks and I’m chopping. My target is 5/10% Amber trichomes.

I am getting a noticeable smell now in my tent. To put it into perspective, it smells like someone is smoking weed in my tent all day. I am also giving the girls spring water, as our water is fairly hard and full of chlorine and they are coming on great. It's a little bit expensive but I'm finding the end justifies the means. I have started LST too. Perhaps a bit late but she is responding really well. By far this is the most enjoyable grow.

🌱 Week 2 Report: The Journey Evolves 🌱 Grow Fam, the adventure is in full swing! 🌟 The Gorilla Melon from Fast Buds is out and shining its light, and the Papaya Zoap has made its debut in the Cannakan, bringing with it a story that adds even more depth to this incredible run. When the universe speaks, we listen. 🍈✨ I didn’t plan on popping Papaya Zoap from Sweet Seeds just yet, but sometimes things just have a way of aligning. After a few other seeds didn’t germinate, I felt an inner pull toward this special strain. As it turns out, the universe had something beautiful in mind! Just days later, my brother @daggadna also began germinating the same genetics—gifted to us during Spannabis. Was it a coincidence? I don’t think so. 🌱 This is more than just a grow now—it’s a journey with purpose, guided by synchronicity and connection. I can already feel the magic building up with this one, and I can’t wait to see where this road takes us! Now, onto the Papaya Zoap… something tells me this plant is going to take us on a ride we didn’t expect but absolutely needed. 💚 Let’s make something incredible, Brother Dagga—this one’s going to be legendary. Gear Updates: All Systems Go 🚀 This week, everything’s dialed in perfectly with the TrolMaster system. Shout out to the incredible DSH-2U Humidity Station! 🌬️ This tool is giving me precision control over the RH (relative humidity) ranges in the room, keeping the environment just right for my babies. Having that accurate readout and control allows me to maintain optimal levels for each stage of growth. It’s like magic—you plug it in, set the desired ranges, and let it do its thing! 🌡️ By monitoring and adjusting humidity levels on-the-fly through the TrolMaster app, I can ensure the environment remains stable, and that means happier plants and healthier growth! No more guessing games. From anywhere—whether I’m working in the garden or chilling out—I can track and tweak it all. Heck, I could be on the toilet and still have complete control over my room! 😂 The AMP-3 Precision Meter has been running 24/7 in my water solution, giving me real-time updates so I can make any corrections when needed, right from my phone. This tech has taken my grow to another level. ✨ Nutrition Update: Keeping It Balanced 🍃 As for feeding, we’re sticking with the basics to give the plants what they need, without overloading. Right now, I’m running: • Regulator: 0.15ml/l • Startbooster: 0.25ml/l For now, I feel like this is the sweet spot—just enough to encourage root development and early growth without overloading them. The tree is very fruity has a extremely sweet fragrance mixed with pineapples like a pineapple dum dum but when you brush against the tree or rub a bud.. it is reminiscent of old school Bubblicious bubble gum the pink kind they sold back in the 80s.

Week 13/4 of Flower and defoliation time yeay ✌️ Day 92/22 watered 2,5l with 2ml grow and 1ml topmax heaven and bloom. looking good. stretching still. supercropping visible yeay. lots of tops. 😍I could not hold myself back and had to defoliate her bushy under growth. So much bottom growth, small popcorn quality, not wanted, bye bye. She is 9 days into proper flower at this point. I didn't think she would stretch too much, no matter the light issue, since she grew rather wide than in height. I'm hopeful all is good. Day 94/24 all good on the top department, but she seems to have successfully used up all the available soil space. ay, so happy there is always something. I should've known and note to myself: DONT VEG TOO LONG WITH TOO SMALL OF A POT. this could/will lead to more waterings more often. poor thing and me. Day 96/26 did I water her in last days? dont know... mmh. shes dry. watering 3l with 1ml grow, 2ml bloom, 1ml topmax, 1ml each activera, algamic and heaven. def. some more. removed bigger leaves. While checking on root growth on both clones, one did not make it, but the other is happy and potted. Took 2 more at defoliation time, this is addicting 😋
