Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 12 June 8-14 FLOWER 7 Sadly, my journey with Frostbanger is almost over. This grow started as an unnamed FBA2502 tester strain completely unknown regarding growth habits, size, flavor profile or smoke effect. I used LST on two plants: #1 because she was leaning over so I decided to pin her down immediately. I decided to LST Plant #3 when I saw her nodes were short and stems were tight. To quote Fastbuds “Growers must know that these difficult-to-grow plants will pose specific challenges in terms of environmental control and nutrition” , making them best suited for cultivators with some experience under their belt. I mention this because 2 plants #4 & #5 always looked lighter than their counterparts. Having overfed in the past grows, I did not want to repeat the same mistake, especially when the other plants were lush and green and did not look deficient. I thought it was genetics, but I found out that these two plants probably had nutrient lockout and would have benefitted from a good flush. Overall, I didn’t make mistakes with overfeeding or over trimming. I had to manually control the environment since the ventilation went out. I did pretty good at maintaining a functional environment. Plants #2 & #5 developed pretty reds in their upper buds and leaves probably because of the air conditioner. The A/C brought the night temperatures to 65-68. This week I am flushing with an anticipated harvest this weekend. I did the last plant pictures and videos and trichome shots on each plant. I did preliminary defoliation removing the remaining fan leaves. For most of the sugar leaves I trimmed off the ends leaving the base with all the frost. These are going into the trim bag to be washed into bubble hash. I plan on pressing #5 because she is the frostiest. 6/9 PH 6.46 PPM 239, temp 68 2 ltr each 6/10 PH 6.6, PPM 230, temp 68 2ltr each 6/12 PH 6.4, PPM 242, temp 68.5 2ltr Thank you for sharing this journey with me and as aways, thanks for visiting, for the likes and most of all growers’ love and support. Too much N is observed and also some heat as there is an heatwave again and inside the tent it was around 31 c°, i only used half dosis of iguana grow in a light mix and it still seems to be too much, the ppm was around 380 so not sure if its just heat stress, but i think they will be fine, i will just only give water the next week and apply some slow absorbing nutrients on the top of the soil, something like guanokalong or biobloom, im sure they will be fine 😁

Today I changed the timer to 12/12. Lets get to flowering!!!🎉 The plants really filled up the growing space nicely. I'm really excited to see how much they will stretch in the first few weeks🤩

Start of week 15. A little defoliation and LST training on a few branches. The grow medium has not dried out enough since last week's repotting, so no feeding at this time. Update 6/15, moved to flowering room and 12/12 light.

I forgot to soak the coco with nutrients before planting the seed, didn't realise coco doesn't have as many nutes to start off so that's why we're looking abit pale, had no idea about his haha But it's all good! We can sort it. they looking like there improving past few days. Watered every day 1 litre around the outside in a circle and the stem. Added calmag grow nutes and voodoo juice. Colour is coming back to the leaves Will keep doing this for next few days while there recovering. 🚑🏥

Nuevamente repito siempre el mismo proceso en el cuidado de la planta en cada etapa. Siempre cuido el ph que para mí es lo más importante en este trabajo. Despúes todo lo demas se puede mejorar.

I was super anxious to get to grow my own weed. Came home to 5 of 6 sprouted. It took the other one nearly a week to come up.

The - now topped - plants are doing good. Slow but steady growth, which makes sense after transplant and topping. Did some gentle training but damaged plant #1 quite a bit (snapped both top stems) luckily i didnt take off the lower two stems on this plant so theres still a good energy source while she heals. Still makes here the no. 1 contender for getting tossed sadly. So far so good. Outdoors the prepped soil is doing well but its very dry, trying to keep the clover alive, but im afraid it wont be a lot of clover. Oh well, stuff spreads like wildfire anyways

If you are going to try this beauty for 2 weeks dont give her 0 nut because you are gonna have 100% nut burn,dont even use root juice or whatever nut you have for early stage but just water,she dont need anything special to grow bigger and bigger just good conditions and right food and you will se the magic to happen,give her more space than i gave because in my situation the roots got on the top and she needed more space BUT she didn't disappoint me😍

Basically I'm taking this as new hobby. I don't smoke but since I was 16 that I wanted to embrace a grow project. 18 years later, decided to get my hands to the work, bearing in mind that it should be as simple as possible. Ordered 3 easy bud seeds, germinated all 3, only 2 survived on the soil, mostly because of my technique. For me, it's all about learning so I did some experiences. 3 different soils, 3 different planting techniques and this is the result so far. The one that died, was due muddy soil, so she drown. No oxygen. Started this project with a simple indoor greenhouse, 160x40x60cm size, 2 daylight lamps 11 watts, 6300 kelvin and roughly 700 lumen each, 1 usb cooling fan. Distance from the lamps to the seeds +20 centimetres, which you can see on day 3, we had a lot of stretching (video). Nevertheless, started to see some life!!! Decided to take the project more seriously. We are now on the day 4, with a new setup. Adequate soil, carefully buried both plants in bigger vases and new lights. 4 cfl lamps, 1297 lumen, 97 watts and 6300 kelvin. I was about to buy the cfl pure light lamp 125 watts but found these cfl's at leroy merlin. I wanted to keep this low budget/experimental project as much as possible, therefore after doing some calculations I found that with these 4 lamps I would roughly get the same lumens and watts I would get with the pure light lamp. Fue una exelente cosecha, esta planta en un principio se tuvo en imddor y posteriormente sacada al exterior. Es mi primera experiencia plantando en suelo. La planta llego a un gran tamaño de la cual se cosechó una gran cantidad superando la cantidad promedio.

She's doing great. The stretch has slowed down and the buds are really starting to pop. Feeding her med man brand nutrients, kind bud base 600 ppm, and bloom at a half gram per l of water approx a 1/4 teaspoon per 2l water

Very compact, extremely resinous buds show color, trimmed as little as possible for natural drying, large and visible trichome head, slower harvest of sticky buds, strong smell, tutti frut, mango, tangerine. Orange, purple, yellow color. Terpenes something wonderful, limonene present, fundamental environment and temperature for this arrival Euphoric effect, relaxing active after a while, as it was crossed several times until reaching this car, it came with different characteristics from its sativa sisters and I like height and characteristics more of the most compact and plump buds.

The buds swell more and more and smell more and more fruity. You can now see how the lady turns her leaves yellow and uses up her last nutrients. The next time it is poured, it is poured with GBL Clean Fruits and 10% drain. Then it is allowed to stand again for 12-14 days before it comes into the darkroom before the harvest 👍. Oh man, she hit a growth spurt this week! Had to seriously move the light up and then she wanted more!! Made it to day 21 and cleaned right on up! Shes lookin purr-ty now boys!!

Week 8 - 05/03 - 05/10 Light - 400 W HPS & 265 W LED Temperature - 76 +/-2 Humidity - 55 +/-5 D1 Flower - This week will be the transition week for the ladies, each day reducing the light schedule by an hr. It worked pretty well last time so hopefully, this batch follows suit. I will change the MH bulb to an HPS midweek, along with switching on the bloom switch for the LED light. Added the Scrog net and trimmed up the bottom side as well. D4 Flower - Watered with nutrients and switched to an HPS bulb D7 Flower - Plants are doing great, nod spacing is nice and stacked. The transition eased the plants into flower, they are down to 12 on 12 off.
