This was my first grow. Still had about two weeks left with a week for flush. Due to unforeseen issues(amazon led light crapping out, again...)I made a judgement call and just harvested her. I’ll add more pics after the dry and speak more on it. From what I’ve read drying and curing are key steps so I’m aiming for 40% humidity for about 10 days. The tester nugs I did took 5 days to dry but I’m thinking it was a shorter dry because it was only a nug. Update in about a week.

Usually a Indic guy but diggin this Sativa feeling. Got a good taste but that could be due to freshness? I’ve never know. How fresh my bud was so it’s a new taste for sure. Forgot to check the color of my ash cause I’ve never done or even thought of doing that lol will try remember next time. I’ll edit week to give weights when they finish drying.

Input on bud that hasn’t been flushed? Noticeable? Also any curing tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

any toxicities or maltreatment? not likely and noticeable differences. Labs have tested for mineral concentrations of flushed and non-flushed harvests and there is no statistically significant difference. from my own experience, i can tell you my ash is as white as any i see.. and might not even be related, lol... have to double check that one. as far as drying and curing.. slow and cooler (low-to-mid 60s F) with humidity at roughly 55% to prevent molds and other growth and keep it dark. The plant is still alive initially and you don't want photosynthesis taking place. You get above 60% humidity and it is more of a risk.. can happen to any, of course. i like at least 5-7 days before stems snap before i cure. if it dries in 2-3 days it might impact taste later on. i use jars, but you really shouldn't use something airtight. it only promotes anaerobic bacterial growth which is not what you want. Some boxes lined with parchment paper that you can close and open to regulate humidity is the better way to go -- anything like that... a humidor-like environment is the goal. it can breath, maintains some level of moisture that prevents decrapitation of your buds over time. fwiw, i don't have a dehum/hum / ac/ heater etc... in winter i have to try to slow the drying down, and in summer i have to try to speed it up... i would have better tasting buds if i did have the proper equipment controlling environmental variables. I often have temps in the 70's when drying even in the basement with the house AC on. Even so, within 14-30 days my buds taste really good. my hash taste amazing, lol... even when i don't like the taste of the buds themselves as much. So, try to do the biggies -- slower dry.. maintain humidity through cure. Length of cure.. i'd go based on taste tests as it will be different for different densities and a multitude of different variables. if you keep clones, take not of how long before taste becomes full and prevalent. Ed rosenthal really has some good notes on this. check out his blog. Simplify what you decide to do to your needs and interests.
