Yo, what’s up, friends! Harvest day is getting closer 😍 Cannalope Haze is pretty much ready, but I’m holding off until Sleepy Joe catches up — I think just a few more days. The trichomes are mostly milky, with a few amber ones showing, which is exactly how I like it for a more uplifting effect to keep me productive throughout the day. For drying, I’ll hang the plants in my tent and aim for 20°C and 60% relative humidity. Let’s see how it goes—I’m excited to see the final result. Stay tuned for updates!

7/17/25 pistils are coming in nicely. Albeit slowly but she is flowering now.

These last 2 weeks the buds have started to fatten. Some have started a foxtail trait. Not sure if it's genetics or my light. The heads on the trichomes are starting to swell. It smells more like candy than weed. I put up a couple poles to keep the tent from sucking into the plants due to the negative pressure from the fan.

The honeydew fallout from the spotted lanternflys in the maple tree above have gotten out of hand. It's almost a constant mist. The only thing I could think to do beside moving them like an ancient Egyptian was adding a protective canopy of some sort. I wanted to get the clear poly weave but this green one was half price so went with it instead. With the way I have it oriented, it doesn't really block out that much direct sun too. In the morning and afternoon the angle of the sun is able to shine right on the plants. It's kind of a win win because should decrease my chances of mold later down the road towards harvest time if it does decide to rain a bunch. I tried washing the plants once this week with some light soap and water with a little baking soda mixed in. I rinsed with cone setting with hose right after and the plants were praying next day but i didn't have canopy up yet so they got hit again. I spotted several pale green assassin bugs on my plants so now Im a little nervous about washing the plants again because I want to keep them around. They are nymphs right now I may try to collect the ones i see become cleaning the plants one last time. Hanging that canopy was one of the more frustrating things I've done in a while. I wasn't sure If or how it would work but I has some medium gauge synthetic rope I tied to the eyelets and eventual 4 tree limbs. I had to bounce back and forth to get it tension climbing my fruit trees and 8 foot ladder. I originally disassembled an unused tomato trellis i built to use some of the lumber to build a post to tie off on in one corner but it ended up being at the wrong angle relative to the tarp and I started to get worried if a storm ripped it out of the ground. So I opted to used only the surrounding trees. After getting it all tension I realized that it was to far to one side leaving two of the plants almost exposed, so I had to come back the next day and re adjust but now I have it in a pretty good spot. I survived a decent storm already this week. Just hope it lasts. Overall making outside feel slightly leas stressful and anticipating more of a good harvest rather than just an experiment with my first outdoor grown.

I cut another part of the girls, and the total is even greater than the first part! We wait another week for the final sums, but right now the flavor is unique.

Plants continue to enjoy the heat of the summer, Growing big fat leaves, going bone dry from sunrise to sunset and drinking lots of water every day at dusk. Some mild calcium deficiency started appearing the yellowing of the leaves with brown-ish spots, corrected with foliar spray Element XX (calcium supplement) I have also introduced my spray homemade pesticide with natural ingredients, you can find the recipe on my Instagram @Girlgoneweed (under the highlights), spraying 2x a week to keep rodents, deer, aphids, mites, mildew and other threats away. Week 6 Veg. The Wock smell is getting stronger by the day. Strong candy terps with gas, Straight GAS that stings the nose bit makes you want to take an even bigger huff. I can already tell she’s going to be stanky once flower starts. One thing to note about Wockesha is that she is a super compact plant with thick foliage once topped. I’ve started to introduce the bloom nutrients at 1tbsp/g. since I’ll be flowering in the next 3 to 4 weeks, I’m adding early to ensure that all nutrients in my living soil will be broken down and readily available to all plants as soon as bloom starts.

Buds growing well. I placed the fan at the back of the canopy to ensure hot air from the lamps are well extracted.

She is growing so fast! Already 19 days old. So far she's had light 24/7 and every time it rains I get some of that water. I think they get more nutrients from that water straighr from heaven, lol!.

It took a while but now the Airmovement is improved and the humidity should also be lower. I also hope I didn‘t stress them too much.
