In the penultimate week, the buds are dense, resinous, and most of the trichomes are amber. The smell is surreal; I believe this will be a very significant harvest... In these 15 days before harvest, I start watering only with RO water and a pH of 6.2. At the beginning of the last week, and around 3 days before harvest, I flush with RO + Cleanse 10mL.

I did not top this girl, yet. Her top lowers started catching up to the top so I didn’t want to stop her yet lol. But all in all she’s looking healthy.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 3 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster this week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also will be switched the light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of this week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 42" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 38" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. We did get an unexpected heat wave this weekend and it has been a struggle keeping the heat and humidity down but the flowers are just starting so no need to worry about mold or anything like that yet. As soon as this heat wave is over the temps should be good to go the rest of the way this is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. This strain of Kings kush is a smelly one, I still can put my finger on the terp profile yet. Almost a kushy herby dank is all I can describe atm. Growing these plants, I would suggest pruning every second node once you get her into flower since the bugs tend to push up against each other and may cause bud rot. Say ontop of defoliation and try to qork on them on a daily basis rather than lolipoping. Another key thing is to keep rH in range during flower, I will recomend to set it to 40-50rh in flower. Also if you are growing outdoors, Be sure to cover them up during rain when in flowering, I uses a transparent tarp for the last 5 weeks of flower. Save my plants from 9 huge rain events during the last 5 weeks, my plants would of died from br. This strain had some decent cold resistance also! She stay alive with with few events of temps getting down to 4 deg c.

🌱 General Development White Russian had a more eventful week. She reacted to light intensity and showed first signs of top bleaching, so I raised the lamp slightly, which immediately helped. Buds are chunkier than Bubblegum and stacking more aggressively, with a classic frosty look. 🌿 What I Did This Week • Raised the light to prevent bleaching and heat stress on top colas. • Enzyme tea (light) to boost microbial activity and help the plant handle the mid-flower nutrient demand. • Adjusted irrigation to 5–6 L, keeping the soil evenly moist. • Checked worms under the avocado → great activity, soil thriving. ⚠️ Issues Noticed • Some upper sugar leaves slightly yellowing → normal light stress + high metabolism in mid-flower. • A few lower leaves yellow → absolutely normal for Week 5–6 flower in living soil. Nothing alarming, the plant is stable and responding well. 📈 This Week’s Progress • Buds thickened significantly. • Aroma stronger; more citrus/spice notes coming through. • Resin production clearly increasing. • Structure tightened after the light adjustment. ✨ Closing Note White Russian is definitely the more vigorous one this cycle. After raising the light she bounced back instantly. Buds are swelling, resin is coming, and the canopy looks incredibly uniform.
