~ DUTCH PASSION / SUPER SATIVA SEED CLUB FAST FLOWER 'TESTER' A and 'TESTER' B ~ Well cannafam, here we go again on another growing adventure together! This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/1- Week Seven of vegetation for the two 'Testers' from Dutch Passion/SSSC and they are both taking off with vigorous growth! I have started to include TPS Plant Foods Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae/Beneficial Bacteria to my top dresses to give the plants some extra resilience to the heat that will be coming soon. I've had great success using this combination which really helps with heat stress and can also help to prevent other issues, such as disease and fungus attacks! 6/3- I have upped my waterings to daily, and am now giving the 'Testers' 2g of water a day, along with weekly Compost Teas. 6/5- I topped both plants side branches today, as well as removing some lower small shoots and lower shade leaves to help direct energy to the upper sections where it will needed most. 6/7- Well fam, there goes Week Seven of veg, the weather is getting hotter by the day and these two beautiful girl continue to explode with growth! Harvest for top buds which are already done ❤️ smell is strong sour/fruit/sweet. The rest of the plants i will leave in tent to be ready for harvest in few days... I will leave sugar leaves on for few days and then do the trimm work. Buds are rock hard and covered with trichomes!

-Cotton Pad method - before putting them into cotton pads soak seeds in bottled drinking water - !!! DO NOT SOAK THE PADS !!! - just give them a few gentle sprays with a mist sprayer then put 2 seeds in 2 cotton pads like a sandwich and spray that sandwich again. - put cotton pad Sandwich in baggie with little opening for air circulation and spray into baggie one Last time - everything together in an dark medium warm spot and wait for about 24-48 hrs

Questa settimana ho montato la lampada hps e l'ho spostata nella zona in cui le piante mi sembrano più pronte, i fiori stanno ingrossando sempre di più e dai filamenti arancioni sembrerebbe che stiano maturando, guardando con il microscopio i terpeni sono ancora trasparenti. Aggiornamento 27 novembre, ho controllato i terpeni della black cream al microscopio e sembrano quasi pronti prossima settimana tolgo qualche cima delle 2 black cream che sono quasi pronte e lasciando i rami più bassi per che risultano ancora meno pronti rispetto ad alcuni. Aggiornamento 28 Novembre : Le piante continuano a crescere costantemente le black cream sembrano sempre più pronte per il raccolto. Aggiornamento 30 Novembre : Oggi ho deciso di raccogliere alcune cime di 2 black cream che erano belle pronte.

La semana comienza bien 👍 la planta se ve sana y esta creciendo con fuerza. La he aplicado sus primeros nutrientes añadiendo 5ml de terra Vega de Canna a 1L de agua ajustando el pH a 6 y con una temperatura de 25°C Veremos como responde a la poda apical que la hizimos la semana pasada, aunque parece por el momento que va muy bien 😉👌

Day 22 - All ticking along nicely...apart from a smart timer issue the last 2 days!!! :/ At least it was light stuck on rather than off so no early flower initiation!!! Got everything reset and all looks good so far. Will be using programmable timers for flower, JIC!!! Funny thing I noted while making the time lapse, the plants still "Went to sleep" at the time they should...even with the lights on and woke up when they should! Was quite interesting to see! Apart from that, just LST and plucking some bud covering leaves. Dropping the SCROG screen tonight and this will most likely be the last week of veg. As EC was dropping slightly by end of last week, have upped the EC by 0.1 Happy Growing all!!! 💪

1 plant was very ripe, 1 plant was almost perfect to harvest and the 3rd could take another 1-2 weeks...but it was end of 10th week of flower and i had to go on vacation, so i perhaps choped 1 plant abit too early....still awesome result!

3.9.2024: Start of week 8. Day 50 from seed, 46 from sprout. Nothing doing today, plant is healthy and getting fatter by the day. Plucked a few leaves but thats it. 3.10.2024: Day 51. Fed 1/4 strength fox farm trio mixed w/ calmag into over a gal of 6.5ph water. Gave roughly 3 liters of the solution. Runoff ppm is finally under 1000. Might increase nutes to 1/2 strength moving forward. Bud development on the main cola is almost half the main stalk now. I'm no pro when it comes to taking pictures so its hard for me to get clear, detailed shots of the nugs. 3.11.2024: Day 52, 48 from sprout. Moving along nicely. 3.12.2024: Day 53. Fed 1/4 strength, roughly 96oz at 6.4ph. I broke the feed/water/feed schedule and fed twice in a row. Also did some lite defoliation on the bottom fan leaves that weren't getting light. 3.13.2024: Day 54 from seed. Plant is doing its thing. 3.14.2024: Day 55. Fed again at 1/4 strength, 96oz at 6.6ph. Runoff ppm was 880. 3.15.2024: Day 56 from seed, 52 from sprout.

Gave a light defol on the 21st, mostly on the California Orange Bud. It's been a pretty bushy strain this go around. Flowers are progressing on the younger plants and the older plants are starting to fatten a little.

Trying to keep the conditions steady. The seem to be growing faster, they really like the fertilizer. All 3 have 4 nodes, but the bottom true leaves seem to be dying. Might have been inappropriate ph earlier. Day 25: The plants started to smell, although it’s weak Day 28: The fifth node is developing nicely. I think I’ll top them soon, maybe except the little one. It doesn’t seem to be growing well so far.

Day 82 - 12/12/19 So harvest is here and what a journey this has been :) This plant took much longer than the others but paid off at the end with huge colas! Wet weigh was around 400g so im expecting about 60g from this once dried :) Has a slight fruity/spicy taste to it. i wont be able to honestly tell until fully dried and cured though :) Big thanks to RQS for thier amazing genetics and a big thanks to all who helped out along the way! Il update the dry weight when dried and the bud report all throughout curing :) Day 85 - 16/12/19 All buds have been dried and damn it really filled up this 68g jar! i got 64g dry weight of prime buds probably another 10g of popcorn buds that i threw in with the trim. coming into heavy flowering i expected an ounce, after i started adding calmag and pk13/14 the buds exploded. and my expectations raised to about 45g. for it to be 64g at harvest from a 43cm tall plant thats something. A few experienced growers reckoned the high yield was because of polyploidy which i believe is a genetic mutation. i looked it up and i cant say if this is what happened or not. The bud has been dried fully and slower than last time, ive tried to have airflow somewhat around the buds but not too close to avoid drying too quick. Ive only been curing for a day but its so smooth already. ive never tried anything like lowryder which is the makeup of this strain so il have to honestly rate it once cured for a week or so :) but until then i will say its been getting me quite stoned and couchlocked. i definitely harvested near the end of the harvest window. il add a final update once cured for a week so u guys know what this strain is like as a final product. Day 89 - 19/12/19 Ive cured for around a week and ive been smoking the buds and watching christmas movies alot! :'D The curing has developed a nice hit on the throat and more flavour along with burning better in joints and bongs :) ive smoked some exotic strains but i honestly feel this is among the best grown smoke ive had. it just feels so well grown with a smooth burn! i definitely harvested on the later side of the harvest window as buds have mostly amber pistils and smoking them gets me pretty stoned and sleepy! this is great as i have trouble sleeping and relaxing. i havent had this much sleep in a while. while i would say this is fairly average bud i still would rate it a solid 7, sure it might not have a strong exotic smell or flavour but it gets the job done well! and the high yield really impressed me. considering i need to be growing enough to stay medicated the 64g dry weight really made my day! Its very relaxing to know you dont have to struggle to get your medicine! I added a few photos of the best buds in the jar and im really impressed with myself for growing some fat buds! This little orange sherbet was topped on day 10 and is growing well. I ran out of calimagic due to a shipping issue. I was hoping that tap water would give them enough cal mag but the plants started showing rusty spots symptoms of calcium deficiency. The only cal mag that I could find locally is Gringo Rasta from fox farm. I gave her a dose of it but it is too early to tell if it is going to work. I am skeptical about any organics in my system from past experiences but the pH is holding steady after a couple days so hopefully it will work out. Other than that they are still getting 24 hour light and I am starting to think that I might have to figure out a way to spread the plants further apart. A couple of them are getting pretty big.
