pre-flowering they still seem very loaded with nutrients in fact one has burnt tips so I am watering abundantly with only demineralized water when they drain they start to feed them. I removed all the supports, we wait for the flowers 😂

Evening all...back on it AGAIN!!!! Worst is, in the middle of a heat wave (Hottest day every recorded in this part of the world a couple of days in a row!!!)...still need to finish trimming my last crop!!! 😰 Will get that done over the next couple of days as these girls need rehoused!!! So, got a cloner at the start of the year...was planning on clone a spare wedding cake I had but that sort of went to pot and life got in the way and that didn't happen. As I also got a hold of an Ultrasonic Mist Generator, I thought I'd give this "Fogponics" Germination thing a go!!! Seeing as @Sweet_Seeds donated a few Magical Beans to my cause, I thought I'd give their genetics a whirl. The Red Hot cookies looked too cool to pass up on!!! So, got the beans popped on the 12th of July and by the Thursday, they were showing their wee heads. These are strong wee plants!!! Vigorous as you like!!! Got them into the 'fogponics' machine and let them rip (Under 2x11W T5 Sunblaster 6400K's and a Amazon Special LED light for extra Spectrum) and they seem to be coming on grand. Noticed some yellow spots on the leaves and in 2 minds if it was: A. calcium (As starter plugs are Coir and I didn't put calmag in the plug hydration mix - Jiffy Original plugs are supposed to be buffered for this!!!); B. if I should have broken and washed them out of the Coir and put them into straight Hydroton (The fog could have been saturating the Coir and choking the internal roots a bit) or C. if its just the abusive heat we've been having here (In a country where A/C is basically unheard off as heat doesn't exist outside!!! 😋). Roots are ripping out of the net pots now so they're about as ready for transplant as can be...just wanna give a day or 2 more to see if the heat here settles as I can't adequately cool the area they're going too - but then again, under LED so heat may be good as it doesn't heat the leaf surface up as much! Plus I have a couple of plants to trim...still hanging in their humidor tent when is needed again for growing! Think this will also be the retirement party for the Wilma. Going to build an Undercurrent Fallponics system when this run is done (Wont have time to get it setup before these girls need forever homes!!!). Have the crates bought and a bit of research done on how to DIY a build so hopefully this turns out to be a decent run. Also have a few people with building experience on hand to give advice. Since last grow: Lights have been upgraded to a Geekbeast 630W Pro LED (3500K Spectrum - UV 385nm and Far Red 730nm built in [won't use the 730's as they can't be run independent of the Main Lights...be wary of this if you buy one off Alibaba for the 730's built in!!!] - Will run the 385UV's though throughout the grow for more blue...will run then 3 hours after lights on to until 3hours before lights off). Also procured an InvisibleSun LED 730nm Flower Initiator (Will use this for EOD Far Red treatment to try a 13/11 flower cycle) and a Migro UVB310 fixture - For the Trikes!!! 😝. Have a Haliea 300A winging its way to me as we speak. Have some Non-Stick Micro-tips flying in from the Grand old US of A a will to get a better, more consistent yield. Week twenty-two is officially done on the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. This week is a turning point, marking the end of vegetative growth and the start of the flowering transition. I decided to switch the light cycle to twelve-twelve. Initially, the plan was to wait for a stronger recovery, but the reality is simple: it wasn’t happening. The plant was given roughly three full weeks to acclimate after stress, and the response stayed limited. Rather than staying stuck in an endless waiting phase, I chose to move forward. This means accepting that flowering may not be extremely vigorous or high-energy. That’s fine. This run is also about observation, learning, and adapting. Flowering was initiated gently, at around three hundred PPFD, to avoid adding more stress. At the same time, I switched the nutrient program to Athena bloom and adjusted the recipe accordingly. The plant has now been under flowering conditions for about twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Over the coming week, I expect to see the first signs of stretch. It’s a bit frustrating, because structurally the plant was doing really well. The LST work created a clean, balanced canopy, and the potential was clearly there. Now the focus is simple. No rushing. No over-correction. Just letting the plant transition naturally into flower and observing how she reacts. Next week will officially mark the first true week of flowering. From there, we’ll reassess posture, stretch, and overall vitality. For now, the plant is left alone to settle into its new rhythm. That’s it for week twenty-two. See you next week.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is the full Day One for the #2 FBT #2202 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Harvest day for Grand Daddy Purple Auto! I did a wet trim & that really exposed her bud structure & Wow she is just a beauty! Definitely a great genetic. Her buds are heavy, dense and frosty. Purple beast! Hope my pictures do her justice. Super happy with one!!!! I'll update again after drying.😁😎😋

The Bubble OG plants are looking awesome! My tallest one is stacking up with super dense buds. It's crazy to think that the other one is almost ready to chop – the colors are so vibrant. And then there's that short and squat one with the purple leaves. It's definitely the oddball of the bunch, but I kind of like it. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Week 9 Didn’t do anything this week except water the lady’s. My telescopes batteries died so I can’t take pics of the tricomes. Rest assured they are nice as hell. They are a massive mix of colour. You see purple, cloudy yellow and amber. Super excited to puff on these nugs!!

Everything going well c02 bags shoud activate soon so with fans being able to run so low because of the led's I expect bags to be a winner got co2 kit ram controller was going to wait till next run which will be sealed but might give it a try as fans running so low (Any comments friends?)

Everything went well appart from the afids in the end. She looks very pretty and smells awesome! Yield could be a litle higher... Still shooting for less than 1€/g. I think I will stop topping my plants. Plants seem to have responded well to the flushing between week 14-15. They were flushed for seven days with nothing but neutral water to help with the nute burn. New nutes were added after that. Fan leaves are dying and buds are fattening. Checked trichomes and I’m thinking I will begin flushing this week. I’m hoping for a 10-14 day flush unless I start seeing a lot of amber. I’m feeling torn and may harvest the purple trainwreck plants at two different times. There are a lot of cloudy trichomes but there’s still lots of white pistils being thrown out as well. Didn’t see much amber, some buds have more clear trichomes than others. The clone’s buds appear further along than the mother plant. I may flush only one plant this week and start the flush on the other in another week or so. The widow x plant isn’t ready to flush and is growing strong. I accidentally left my timer on “on” when I left during a weekend during week 3 of flower. The widow x plant started to reveg a bit from the 48 hours of light. I forgot this happened entirely and for a while couldn’t figure out why the buds weren’t fattening... but I’m fairly certain that is why that plant stalled so long. So far no hermies or males! That was several weeks ago. I’m now on week seven of flower so I’m hopeful for a completely seedless grow. I will continue adding photos throughout this week. Harvested the bottom branches off to make room for my next flowering plant. I couldn’t wait any longer, it’s getting too tall and I’ll run out of room. This is the clone that was taken the same time as the flowering PT clone. It has been in a veg tent since being removed from the flowering tent. Buds from lower stems are drying and look good so far... Wet weight- .75 ounces~ 21 grams Dry weight- ~.20 ounces~ 5.5 grams
