And like in every grow things get to an end, and this one is no exception to that rule, did not yet end but is pretty dam close from it, gave her a last and only defoliation so far, this will help me in a few days wen i harvest her, and for now she looks way more beautiful to my eyes, man she did turn out outstanding , i mean, the looks, the smells , the over all everything this one is a champ. Love her Xmas tree kind a grow with a beautiful and modestly gigantic main cola, covered in beautiful and colorful trichomes, that glue to anything they touch living a complex and unique fragrance that follows you wherever one goes, she is a delight thats for sure. Crazy week. Weather has changed went to be more rainy and colder. Some days were even close to 6 celsius degrees in the night. We have got more like cloudy some days with some hours of sun but nothing significantly strong light. She does well, getting dense and the smell is very strong!!!!!! Like sweet and citrus and like absolutely I feel in my mouth tho....very very very nice!!!!!! Looking also good maturing she is quite big so i surrounded her from one side with rubbis bag to not be be able to see by my neighbours... obviously not a tomato plant even if she is placed between.... 🤪 She will make it more rain less sun but she is okay. I also checked the trichomes nice maturing they look milky but apparently they need to mature and the pistils are white anyways I go after the trichomes I think she grew more a bit as well. I am happy ;)

The solo cup Afghani x Mac1 from DNA Junkies is coming to an end. These sticky buds are starting to fade and turning a blueish purple. The smell is strong. Very fruit forward with petrol. Still feeding off the last top dressing.

Wow these girls have fatten up nicely over the last week. I am giving them at least 10 more days. They have some golden hairs and they are starting to get milky. I can't wait to try this strain out. 4/28 they each have grown an inch in a day and a half. Lightly defoliated a few large fan leaves to get light to the smaller buds underneath. This grow has been so easy. They have loved the coco and clay 50/50 mix and my nutes. I haven't increased anything in a few weeks. They have only had a few spots that may have been sun burns from a few light leaks that I noticed and covered with black crayon to fill the spaces, mainly around the zipper seam. Next grow I will increase from 6" pots to 8" self watering pots. They work like hydroponic without the bubbles. Watering twice daily keeps the buildup flushed out and with fresh nute water in the bottom of the pots, I have huge root balls under the inner pot. One or two weeks to go. Pink seems like she will be done first, followed by blue and purple. Green is huge so far but hasn't started to turn golden at all. 5/1 Had a friend stop by who actually works at a grow center and she told me that my babies were ripe and ready to pick. I'm not sure how everyone does it but she told me to pluck as many leaves as I could get to before turning the light off for 24 hours and then chop. She also said to hang the whole plant since they are small autos so I didn't harm the buds in the trimming and drying process. She said once they are dry to trim the remaining leaves for butter and oil for edibles then collect the buds from the stems. Pics will be added tomorrow of the drying setup. Last grow until September because we will be traveling for summer!!

Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Man! I am definitely hooked on my new hobby. Harvested 96 grams of smokable bud and 93 grams of bud/leaves that I will be using to make dry ice hash. Took a third of that second weight (31 grams) to account for pure bud (which is more on the low end) and added to my 96 grams of good flower to get the 127 grams total. Made plenty of mistakes that I’m sure dropped my yield, the biggest being the lighting situation. Plants grew right into my light and even got bleached. The height of the plants made the outer colas grow past the high light areas, which made the buds very airy. But overall it was an amazing experience. I learned a lot of things, some that I have already incorporated on my second grow. And even with my drop in yield, I still ended up with more than enough flower to last me to my next harvest, so this was a great grow for me. Thanks to everyone who followed, liked, and commented. I harvested 24 cuttings from the White Shark mom this week, which was the first time she donated! She recovered fully within a few hours. Some ongoing maintenance pruning/training on deck for later this week. The 2 new moms (XXL & 8 Ball) are looking beautiful. I’ll be topping them soon to start working on structure.

I let her go another week. The trichome photo was on Wednesday and I was just starting to amber. I’ll harvest her today 22/2/2020 and then do a harvest report in a couple weeks after she’s cured up some.

the strain is really strong , low temperatures resist , 3 weeks around 12/16º graus and steell growing wel nice new colos between week 4/6 in flowering. really good strain to manipulate! 5 stars * * * * *

My beloved Black cherry punch #1 by Pyramid seeds looks stunning, she's happy and strong, can't wait to transplant her and start training her so she can become a nice big fat bush, let's see what happens with this girl, I loved her performance last season, she has a very distinctive and unique smell, also provides a strong physical high excellent to finish the day or if you suffer from any muscular or bone pain

So I got just over 7oz in my final grow. My scale doesn’t weigh in fractional grams, which is fine because my medicine is all for personal consumption. So I just take the weights at face value and add a gram given I had four weigh ups that were likely over the exact gram weight that was displayed. All in al I got 7 oz (4 from one plant in the 10 gal container and 3 from the plant in the 5 gallon container.). It is hard to say if the difference in weight is a result of the extra size in the pot because the differences in the plants life (plant 1 had more extensive training and plant 2 was grown outdoor for a portion of its life) I love the flavour and aroma of this bud and burping is a pleasure just to get a whiff of the goodness. I’m looking forward to growing some strains from some more reputable genetics. My next grow will be some auto flowers as opposed to the photo periods to try something new. I’m happy with the results and the fruits of my labour. Happy growing everyone!
