Hey everyone! It’s been another fabulous week of the girls fattening up getting ready for the ever looming harvest time! The colas are huge and glistening like a glitter ball! The back right girl has been on flush since day 51, 2 more went on flush on day 53, and the final girl front right went on flush today, day 56! Over the week I gave 3 girls a really heavy defoliation taking the majority of fan leaves off to allow good airflow and try fattening up those lower buds. It’s still impossible to tell if I prefer defoliation or not but we are getting close to harvest so should have a definitive answer to that soon! The back right girl has had absolutely no defoliation or trimming through her life cycle. I still regularly think back to when we broke one of the girls and transplanted, the cannabis gods were on our side warning us 4 girls will be huge, we were very lucky or would be seriously short of space as of now. As the girls are going to be harvested at slightly different times to ensure each are at their optimum, I have had to construct a dry box. How I built my smell free DIY dry box: Take a large cardboard box, cut an extraction hole in the top at one end and mount some ducting and seal the gap around the edge. Cut a flap in the opposite end at the bottom which will be the passive intake and promoting a draft through the hanging buds. Poke some holes in each end of the box using a screwdriver and thread some thin rope or string through the box tying the ends together once finished to give you sturdy locations to hang some pegs from. Finally I attached an extra bit of card on one of the flaps at the top; this overlaps the slight gap in the top between the flaps that could allow light to enter. Once completed I put the ducting into one of the lower intakes of the tent; the negative pressure in the tent then uses the air in the dry box as a passive intake creating a smell free area to dry your cannabis outside of your grow tent. This also keeps a slight breeze flowing through the box to ensure even drying. day 93 ( 34 of bloom ) so yesterday i watered the plant and dropped the silicate out of the mix over all plant health looks great. i am starting to get some orange hairs 1 or 2 per cola so im in the end game now 2 or three weeks till harvest. i may do one more feeding then all flush till the end. - update day 94 ( 35 of bloom ) i am going to go into flush i think as i am seeing more and more orange hairs and i don't want to start late. Update had to harvest early because of pollen sacs

Another week down few more to go can't wait!! First ever attempt of growing my own so really impatient to see the final results now and get to the finish line, that said all has went well upto now other than the size they reached haha, really started putting on weight now it seems and they smell lovely, excited to see the buds fatten and progress over these last few weeks up until harvest now, started 5 liberty haze also they are just coming upto 3 weeks now so check that diary out to, any comments info tips for the final stages appreciated

100419Day 70 flower 28 - switched fully to bloom nutes now and they are all starting to slowly fatten up, they are all turning lovely and frosty and the size of laughing Buddha on the middle is crazy, she is my monster 👌😁 140419 - changed feed to 2.5ml/l bloom 1.5ml/l bud candy and 1ml/l Calmag, half way through flowering and leaves are starting to turn yellow, don't think I have added enough bloom therefore lack of nitrogen in the soil. Buds are increasing in size however. 150419 - I think zkilltez of will be ready soon, trichomes are cloudy with a few amber , began 10 day flush today feeding 4 litres of 7.0 pH water every day now till the 25th which will be harvest day 😎

The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are. usually companies would charge more. Thanks mars you guys are awesome 🤘🥁🎸. I'm getting a new exhaust fan soon. An 8 inch that will work alot better than my 4 inch lol. Wayyy to small for a 8x8 Grow Tent. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. These were only 2.5 weeks and I started noticing some frost. Next week I will be able to tell more about what these custom bred seeds will be like. I love how the smell is changing now. Harvest

4/20: I have 3 good clones of the shortie growing, and another FFT6 seedling. 5/1: The seedling is now in a 5 gallon pot outdoors, and 2 of the clones are in my closet getting ready to be transplanted into 5 gallon pots and moved outdoors. One of the FFT6 clones will be grown in my tiny tent. 5/6: I took the last two clones outdoors and fed them really well. I also did some training on the seedling and the clone in my tiny tent. 5/7: I did a foliar application of Axiom Harpin proteins today. 5/9-5/11: Did foliar feeding and lots of training every day. 5/12 - 5/17: Fed the outdoor girls on the 13th, then we had lots of rain all week. The seedling is a beast. Installed a new 200w 3000k waterproof LED over the outdoor plants. The indoor clone looks great. I gave her some water on the 16th. 5/18 - 5/19: The seedling and two clones outdoors are all flowering?!?! I suppose it's because I germ'd and vegged them for a month under 24/0 before taking them outdoors under 14/10 of daylight... I'm really hoping she sees the days getting longer and goes back to vegging. I need time to bush her up really well! I ordered another 200w 3000k waterproof LED to replace the two cool white 60w LED's, so that will be 550w total watts of lighting outdoors in addition to the 5'ish hours of direct sunlight they get at mid-day, and the tree-diffused sunlight they get for the rest of the day. Thinking about trying a product called Bud Bomb...has lots of hormones, cytokinins, and auxins that when applied at the beginning of flowering supposedly causes more lateral branching and less vertical stretch. As it is, I'm spending too much time training her and the other outdoor plants to stay below the eyeline of nosy neighbors, so I'm really considering giving it a shot... 5/20: I went for it and sprayed them with Bud Bomb this morning...hope it works like they claim.. 5/21 - 7/4: The clone i grew in the tiny tent got to move in under the quantum boards for her last 2 weeks and fattened up nicely. I harvested her on 6/28 and washed her buds, then jarred and weighed her on 7/3. She produced 110g of cola and 51g of lower bud...very little of it was larfy.👍 After a few great weeks flowering outdoors, i was invaded by spider mites and grasshoppers. The #6 seed-grown plant didn't make it, but i brought the #6 clone indoors and treated her for spider mites a few times, along with the 2 x #1 clones and the #7 plant. That outdoor clone now in my closet is still flowering as of 7/4, but had her last dose of nutes on 7/3. Flushing in a few days.

Well day 63 in flower and still maybe only 25% red hairs. 022320 - day 68 flower, still 50% white hairs, almost time to start watching trichs 😁.

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Our summer weather continues to be brutal with daytime high temperatures hitting over 90℉ everyday, and nighttime low temp's rarely going below 75℉ with super high nighttime RH in the 70-90% range. 7/28- I am continuing with my daily watering regime of 5-8g every afternoon after sunset, with the exception of days that we receive measurable rain. 7/30- The Papaya Sherbet photo is continuing her growth spurt and is at 6 1/2 feet tall now! She's got that wide node spacing reminiscent of Sativa's, and I'm just hoping that she doesn't wait too long to begin flowering which would run into our wet season when issues with fungus and mold become more of a concern. 8/1- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is now 84 days since she first appeared, and she has really come a long way since. Hopefully in the next few weeks she will shift gears and begin to flower which will be a welcome sight to see!
