Week 10 of flower, looking to chop next week. The trichomes are about 70/30 cloudy/amber. Doing a few days of darkness and really cold night temps to hopefully push out the colors and resin production here towards the end.

the girl went out into nature, although the weather is not very suitable for them yet, but I think she will manage perfectly :) I will visit them once a week :).

12/12/24 Short Facts: Watered: 1 x 2.4L, 1 x 2.5L, 1 x 2.5L — Total: 7.4L VPD @ 1.4 Light @ 70% (~700 to 950 PPFD) Stopped watering with fertilizers, only water, CalMag and Silicia Force --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I’ve stopped watering with fertilizer because I’m planning to harvest her in the coming days. You can already see that she’s slowly dying. I hope she’ll put all her remaining energy into her flowers in these final days. I’m going to dry her, but only because there’s a new method I want to try. You can now place the harvested buds into a special plastic bag immediately after harvest. These bags are designed to let water out while preserving the terpenes almost completely intact. One of the German grow shops selling these bags tested different samples in a lab, and the results seem to support their claims. If it works, great! If not and the harvest ends up molding, I don’t mind. 98% of the harvest will already have to be trashed due to the legal limit.

Harvest time

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 20/05/2021 (Day 65) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución. Las plantas se encuentran espléndidas y listas para comenzar un proceso de engorde y resinado. Esta semana se incorpora una barra de 1m de osram con Deep Blue, Far red e hiper red como complemento de rojos y azules. 23/05/2021 (Day 68) Hoy se colocó la segunda malla scrog y podemos observar que las plantas van desde 90cm de altura al suelo en su expresión mas indica y 110cm de distancia al suelo en la expresión mas sativa.

🌱 Finalizando la semana 3 y con buenas noticias 🌱 Efectivamente, esa carencia que venía notando estaba relacionada con calcio y magnesio. Después de añadir Calmag, las plantas empezaron a mostrar más vigor y mejor desarrollo. Hace unos días realicé el trasplante a macetas de 11L, probablemente las definitivas, aunque esto dependerá de cómo avancemos en las próximas semanas. 💪 A partir de ese trasplante, también comencé a incluir BioGrow en el riego, para potenciar el crecimiento. 📝 Dato útil: Antes de trasplantar, esperé a que el sustrato estuviera un poco más seco y compacto, lo que facilitó muchísimo el proceso. Luego, en ese primer riego post-trasplante, aproveché para aplicar fertilizantes. ¡Seguimos avanzando y viendo los cambios día a día! 🚀🌿

Was a easy grow for most part. Most of my efforts were toward the pineapple Express in nitrogen toxicity. But lsd was great. Would love to try it again one day. Thanks for likes and follows.

Once again this week will be focusing on watering and keeping environment dialed in. Plants have some burnt tips from abit of nutrient burn, even though the fertilizer is slow release. Could have added to early into stage of growth. One of the three is really weird. It's buds are very small and there are a lot of them. Significantly taller than the other three as well. Not sure if it's genetics, or perhaps I messed up training it. Either way, doesn't seem very hopeful in terms of bud size. The other 3 are thickening up and are sticky as hell. The trichomes are coming in hard and the buds are getting weight. The smell is incredible, kind of a sweet sativa like aroma to them. Hopefully this week we will see more growth in bud on all plants.

Week#6 Dec.2nd- Dec.9th Baby Boom Week #6 pant has grown to 21 inches incredible stretch for the plant really happy with the way she's looking right now has many bud sites side branches also stretching even growth through the plant.

First week under the Lumatek 600 Pro set to 50% and aporox 40cm away from canopy. Day 7 applied some pruning and supercropped the few taller girls to even out the canopy. I will add a CO2 bag next week as i increase the power to avoid potential light stress.

well these girls are filling nicely and are in need of another tea, but this time Ill be brewing a new banana peel bio bomb recipe I am working on. Lets see if we can makes these girls go into overdrive,

She's healthy and going strong! Smells absolutely amazing. The only issue I currently have is the light being far away from plant because there is another plant in the tent twice her size. It's not terrible though
