Hey all! Reminder: MIDDLE PLANT IS GSC #1. BOTTOM LEFT PLANT IS GSC #2. (Bottom right is mystery seed, two in the back are FastBuds Gelato - which you can't even see anymore haha. This diary is only focusing on the GSC plants). Wow, the growth has been insane. The girls are touching the edges of the tent, and you can almost get lost telling what's what in this sea of green! The bud sites are definitely showing signs of swelling up. Unfortunately I dealt with some nute burn on both plants, more on one than the other, but I flushed them twice with PH'd water and it seemed to have stopped it spreading. Definitely was feeding too much. Stuck to the dosage guidelines but feel I did not give enough plain water in between nute-water feedings (actually none at all until I flushed them). Man. They are huge plants. Underestimated how big these would actually get! I CANNOT WAIT to start seeing fat buds! As I mentioned before, I have been taking a tolerance break for most of this grow and I will continue to do so until harvest (day 25 of the tolerance break today). Start of week 5 of flower, everything going well, girls are packing on weight Both still completely different, one short stocky indica style pheno and the other tall sativa like The excitement is palpable now

Resin is increasing and looks like bud sites are ready to start putting on some bulk. Issue with low ph drift reaching 5.2 so I decreased 50ppm with distilled water without calmag to soften the water and counter the drift. After decreasing ppm, ph drift continues, so I flushed for 2 days with distilled water and added back nutrients at half strength to increase to 800 ppm over time.

Crazy and extremely variable wheater this week but what a runner! In 7 days RG passed the oldest "special kush # 1" growing 2 centimetres a day. Perfectly healthy, I decided not to top her. Starting LTS. Smell will be a problem later.

The week was good although I had to struggle still with the RH but things are looking good ( no mold or anything for now : / ) Buds are getting bigger and frostier everyday the genetics are really off the charts ! I gave them there last meal yesterday so the flushing begins next week and will last about 2 weeks . I'm starting week 7 tomorrow and I already can't wait to finally chop these beauties down : ) I've done some defoliation but very very light like 4 or 5 fan leaves to improve light penetration to the buds. Switched from 24/0 to 12/12 at the end of day 14, also switched the 730nm Led's on. Its been 7 days the plants have started growing a lot faster but there's still no pistils showing. I started feeding biobizz grow @ 2ml/l At the moment there getting watered every 3-4 days. The light is showing 25000lux on a lux meter app.

Super Soil Guide Peyote Wifi from Seedsman seeds wow can't believe it's been 15 weeks since I started this plant . Ive been busy brewing up the High tea and I fed about 15 litres of the diluted (5:1 water/tea ratio) Tea to her over a two day period and she lapped it up and has regained her vigor again. I know ive mentioned it previously in this diary but I can't stress how Important the condition of your soil is in ,is to your plants overall health. Ive seen lots of grows (mine included) where the Grower only takes notice of the plant itself and ignores the soil until issues appear via the leaves on the plant ie nutrient deficiencies , Root problems ,disease etc . By being Proactive with your soil as well as your plant you can potentially eliminate or alleviate any problems before they can effect the plant. Things like the use of Mycorrhizae will attack any bad pathogens within the soil and root system. Using seaweed/kelp on a regular basis helps the plant during times of stress or High temps as well as being a NATURAL PGR . Mollasses can be used to provide Carbs to your plants roots and the girls love it!! So in a nutshell ,, if you look after your soil it will look after your plants 😃 Thanks for stopping by and reading my diary update 👍

(Expected flowering: 9 weeks) Germination: 24h 7/9, 48h 8/9, 72h 9/9 Transplant: 4(6)/9 not sure yet, some issues with overwatering, rot and previous week Paris heatwave prolly luckily i have some back up plant nearly ready for transplant in the veg area, so gonna use them to fill the tent empty slot this cycle.

The Jedi came down at 11 weeks. The other blackberry came down at 8.5 weeks, for a total production of 2.5zips plus 7.5 zips. I've had to estimate the Jedi at the moment, there was 1050 gm wet weight of trimmed bud on minimal stem. I would expect the dry weight to be 21% of that but I will update the numbers next week. She is a spacious plant and very branchy but you can continually trim branches as you defoliate throughout the grow, she responds well to both. Floats like a butterfly and hits like a steam train. It's been over two weeks since the Blackberry was harvested and she's all gone now, never even got a chance to dry properly. Basically she kept me going while waiting for this Jedi, who I already knew was going to be soaking with resin. I was hoping for 8 zips total with 4 for each plant but I ended up only getting 2.5 on the blackberry but I got an easy 7.5 of mostly grade a bud so a total of 10 zip for both plants in the same pot. They were expected to mature together but the black berry was a week or so early, so as you can see in the root shots her roots had died and made the Jedi roots rot as well but this shows you the resiiance of the Shallow Water Culture as I do it because of added redundancy, I could not even tell there was a root problem didn't after the Jedi at all but it's good to be away of, I'm back to single pots for a while now.

This is an easy plant to grow. She was quick from seed to harvest. The vibe creeps up on you so watch out! She's dried now and set to cure in brown paper bags for a few weeks. This one is a winner.
