Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. The smell.... amazing... Looks like I have ended up with 3 purple phenos and 2 green phenos out of these 5! These are stacking up nicely, however, they seem like they will end up being smaller plants than im used to. Just kind of staying low and slow. They have a long ways to go, so ya never know! They may gain some size, but they better do it soon! These ladies hit the HPS light this week, at 750 watts. So we will see! Some BEAUTIFUL purple flower!

| 📅 Week 13 | 10/10 - 10/16 | 💡 1000w 📏32' | | 🌡️️🌞 76- 84 | | 🌡️️🌑 68 - 75 | 10/10 Started the flush on one of the remaining two plants. Phed reservoirs to 5.8 10/11 Trichomes are are getting near half cloudy, no signs of amber yet. Phed to 5.6 10/12 Water added and Phed to 5.8 Trimming finished on chopped plant that's drying. 10/13 Adjusted Ph to 6.0 and topped of the reservoirs. Harvested plant will be drying for another day or two. 10/14 PH was really low on the Flushing plant. Adjusted it to 6.2. The other plant had its reservoir topped and PH set to 5.8. 10/15 Started the flush on the final plant. Will probably do a shorter flush this time and test the difference. I think a week in DWC feels long. 10/16 Reservoirs topped and PH adjusted to 5.6. Flush started on the Final plant 😎 Extremely excited for the smoke review of these badgirls. So far so good! Two of Three plants remain. One of them has less mature trichomes the other is coming down any day now. These plants are amazing to handle. You can Smell that these girls are not playing around one bit.

02/10/2021 I supper cropped the top 4" down toward lower level to promote auxins to redistribute, also starting 12-12 light cycle should be 8-9 weeks of flowering🙏 if she more than doubles in stretch,then I will need to switch to LED lights to finish

Maybe this seed was just a less desirable phenotype, i would try again but definitely not as a mother. I wonder if pulling all those clones stressed them out from the start. Maybe I'll do a redo in the future. All in all some beautiful colors.

Pretty good week for the stretching. Even thou my tank had some problems (I believe biobizz is not meant for tanks), the ladies are thriving. Changed to my trusted brand of base nutrients, green planet nutrients. This time trying medi one. Hope my grow shop will continue bringing green planet, it is a bummer they might stop importing it. Plant 4 accidental mainlining after breaking the two main tops training before switching to flower. I can see the how awesome is Sanlight led evo for this tent, ladies are all even and love the overall environment of the budbox and the lights. Noticing a huge difference in nutrient consumption compared with hps. Drinking way less. Overall excited and happy of this grow, couple of little problems trying organic base nutrients, but that’s how we learn, right?

End of 5 week of flowering. All three full of resin.buds are very sticky.. nice smell from closet.we will see in the end. 3 weeks till flashing my plants i think.

Me encanta las apicales, ver como crece la estructura de la planta, una de las técnicas que se puede presenciar en esta semana, haciendo un corte apical, amarro los 2 brazos principales dejando horizontal y cambiando la estructura de la planta(LST). La linea de fertilab me acompaña en este proceso para no llegar a un alto estrés.

The journey continues, nothing much has changed. The Chem Beyond Diesel is taco-ing hard, probably due to the light being close, but since the NYC and BJ are the same height and are not taco-ing, this one might also just be a little more sensitive (?). The BJ and NYC are fox-tailing quite a bit, so the plants could also just be showing different reactions to the same stress? Either way, there isn't much I can do at this point. The humidity is a bit high and I have defoliated some more to help bring it down. I might have to consider some other options, too. I switched from Hesi Root Complex to Canna Rhizotonic now (because my bottle was empty and I wanted to try something new), and also added some D-Block to my reservoir to help prevent clogging. The plants are supposed to be 8-9 weekers, but they look more like at least 11 right now. I guess we will see.

Hallo Growmies, Welcome everyone to the third week of the trip to Japan. This week the adventures started and we still have a bumpy road ahead of us before we reach the final destination. After we changed the nutrient solution she definitely seemed more happier .💦 So decided to start with the trainings, on Day 25 topped her and right after started with LST. I expect her to recover quickly from the early stress and start growing strong in the next 2 weeks. 🌱 On day 27 took off 4 big fan leaves. Till day 29 we continued tying the branches and checked and corrected the PH daily. Let the branches up for 2 days to regenerate then we tied them again. PPFD is around 600. Will keep this until the end of the veg period. Everything is going well but there was something to worry about again. I started giving powder silicate to the mix and left a gap between the net pot and the water. In the second day checked the root and noticed that silicate deposited in clumps on the part of the root which is between the net pot and the water. Luckily could wash it off with a shower. Lots of bud development, starting to stack up a bit. Thinking I will see a lot more bud growth in the coming weeks. The older PT is finishing up this week and starts our harvest for the next few weeks. I’ll be checking seeds on the buds I pollinated and trichomes on the others. There are a few random seeds isn’t he tent but so far it appears that the majority of the bud is seedless. I think I was able to minimize the pollen like I wanted to. Male plant was chopped at the beginning of this week after only a few pods opened. I only needed a few to get enough seeds to grow again in the future.
