Day 59: There is little left to my first harvest in 2019. As buds continue to swell and resin starts to see some orange pistil. I think that in order to complete the cycle of these six Gorillas, there are only a couple of weeks to get to the standard eleven weeks. The smell of the resin is very strong and I have to ventilate the room several times during the day. Given the approach of the first harvest I put some other seeds in the soil. 😄 P.S. I chose one of the predominantly indica plants for the first taste. This plant has received only water for the last five days instead of the usual 10/12 and although I would have to wait another 10/15 days before it is completely dry, this Saturday I will break some buds smaller and I will smoke it 😋 Once the first plant has dried, and the crop is tasted, I will add more data such as flavor and real definitive weight. For the remaining five plants I will follow all my standards without breaking basic rules and I will make a progressive crop. For the 2 plants that showed a photoperiodic predominance, I will open a separate diary once the harvest is over. P.S. I posted some sexy photos to take part in the Naked Buds contest. After choosing and cutting the smaller plant and having made it stand upside down in the shade for two days I dissected all the buds and put them to dry in my cage. At a first estimate I should have gotten between fifty and seventy grams of buds, I will be more precise in a couple of days. With the smaller buds and sugar leaves I will subject them to decarbosillation and I will make some good butter 😋 while with the small branches covered with trichomes I want to flavor some bottles of vodka, I put aside even the largest leaves and branches and when I have also dried out the waste from the next crops I'll do a bit 'of ice-olator hashish using the bubble bags system...I thank everyone and I apologize for my approximate English and any errors, but as you may have already guessed it is not my language. March 10, Day 69: Final taste and effect ratio for the first plant. The exact weight of dried buds, excluding the wads, sugar leaves and small branches is 58 grams. Even having pushed all the final procedures to the limit, the product is fantastic. No chemical taste despite the short flushing. Yesterday was my birthday and I got to smoke a lot (about 45 grams) in the company of twenty friends, everyone appreciated the taste and power of the effect perhaps amplified by some beer, but still very strong. No one has coughed, the smoke goes down smooth and clean and the effect is practically immediate. The terpenes of limonene and pinene dominate every flavor. The aftertaste is fresh and sweet and smoking a lot at the end the limonene prevails. For a final consideration on the edible taste I will have to wait to have made some butter to make biscuits or brownies. As I wrote the effect is very strong, salt immediately and at the beginning seems energizing, but shortly after passing the joint hits you with a baseball bat to the back of the neck 😵 After the fifth joint you are now on a psychedelic journey and you will continue to laugh for hours. At the moment I do not have a THC analyzer (object I want to buy in the future) but based on my personal experience I think it is well over 20%. Stimulates appetite, thirst (excellent if combined with a double malt blond beer) and can be used to effectively fight insomnia. 👊

So i trim the old leafs and leave it to grow on the new ones i leave as is and keep adding the ab solution. It grew so quick so big, i trimmed the big leafs and keep it focused on solution every 2 day 3 liter

Mixed up 1 ml each of medusas magic, Gaia mania, and Zeus juice into a 1 quart spray bottle adjusted to 6.3 ph. When this gets another set or 2 of true leaves I'll take away the fluorescent and install my new hlg-65 led panel. I'm excited to see what the "special phenotype" really means. Photos are day 13 since it popped out of the soil. Also fed some tribus microbes I got as a freebie :).

Plant streached out a bit more this week not sure if it is over yet. Flower is coming along and the buds are starting to form. Now the fun part starts. I'm sure everyone loves the flower phase. Did a defoliation, seemed to work the first time so I will keep doing it. Took two of the three plants an put them in a tent. There is no space in the flower room and did not want to compromise the grow. I guess I was a little over anxious and poped these seeds a bit early. No big deal, a tent is always good. It will be interesting to see the difference between the two areas flowering. This will come down to cheap led fixture vs 1100 true watts of the timber grow vero 29 3000k cobbs. Fornthe cheap led fixtures I have 2- 1600 watt, a 1000 watt and a 600 watt. Ok this is the advertised watts and not true watts. I don't know the true watts either. I have to say they seem to work great for veg and thats what I used them for until I ran out of room. I am hoping the reflective tent will help. Any comments or tips are greatly appreciated. Coming into week 4 transplanted into 5gal fabric pots. 3 plants are doing great really starting to hit there spurt. The one that topped over is starting to make a comeback. So Blue gelato left. this week with nutes then start to flush. -day 60 update Looking ready, almost every trichome cloudy. I'll start flushing and day 70 30th dec it will be cutted. But I will check those trichomes again. If I get lots of amber ones before day 70 harvest will come sooner.. and other way around, I want there to be couple amber ones. Very nice dank blueberry smell here😋 Shoutout to Barney's for nice genetics for both this Blue getato 41 and Gorilla Zkittles 👊😎 -day 63 So I got me a little better loop to check trichomes. (usb mikroscope coming up) and they were almost all cloudy a few amber ones also. So I flushed her with 5L of water and flawless finish and now I wait for soil to dry up and couple feeds with falwless finish and were done here. 😎👌 -66 last flawless finish 4ml in 3l of water. Ok now there is almost none clear trichs cloudy everywhere and some amber ones. I'll wait 48 hours after next light cycle goes dark then I'll chop her down. so 3 more days and it´s gonna be 68 full days in the end.

The plants are looking really healthy. I’m still getting used to my new lights. I think I didn’t push enough light in week 2 of flower I’m ramping up the light intensity now. I had to whip out my par meter I was keeping the light to far off the plants. This light has to be closer to the plants than my mini sun. I’m lurking this light a lot I just need to get used to it

01/05 - Updating this a day early as they won't be 3 weeks old until tomorrow - but tomorrow's pretty busy for me... Gave them both a bucket change... added the Rapid Start to GG's bucket as her roots looked like they could use some (although I STILL think they look like OG has one more week of life to her than GG!) Going to start some LST later on today, a bit of ponytailing perhaps.... I have the feeling these two are going to fill my small tent!! Update: I went back 2 hours after changing their buckets only to find GG screaming in agony (see the pics of her teaching me a lesson)... the pH had shot up to 6.7 and she was NOT a happy camper at all!! Quickly made the adjustment and will check on her every half hour and measure her pH ... she's one sensitive little gal, is GG... Meanwhile, the same thing had happened to OG but, in typical OG fashion, she just yawned and said "Huh?" but I adjusted HER pH as well... good god! Second update 01/05 ... GG's pH was going up slowly again BUT she looked 100% better - her leaves had perked back up, the terrible crisping of them had stopped.. I trimmed off the two really bad leaves as they wouldn't ever regain any ability to help the plant and I did another small adjustment of her pH down again. I've also "ponytailed" her as I've wanted to try this technique and she seemed a good candidate as her cola was definitely going to be dominant. This technique will hopefully allow the side buds to gain more height and the plant will take on more of a bowl shape as opposed to a Christmas tree shape... Should anyone reading this want to try this, you need to know you cannot allow the ponytail to be in place longer than 8 hours a day... Interesting day... very interesting day. 01/06 - Well, the two of them made it through their day yesterday ... OG doesn't show any signs of any stress and GG is doing well although a couple of her leaves still bear the marks of her aversion to high pH levels! She's going to be the one I'm really going to have to baby but that's ok... OG is just a bull - nothing bothers that one! Ponytailing both of them again today... then I'll stop for a week before doing it again. 01/07 - Decided to do a regular bit of LST on GG - she's not as bushy as OG and will take more readily to that kind of training. OG, though, is still going to be ponytailed because she's short, fat and really, really dense. Did a bit of defol on OG yesterday and it's been well received by her - she's doing extremely well! Update... I've just discovered why OG is so much further along than dear GG... I was going back through the logs I keep because I wanted to know when to expect my newest baby's roots might hit the water - and I realized that OG's roots hit the water when she was only 4 days old! FOUR DAYS OLD!!!! That's unheard of... at least in MY experience! GG's roots didn't hit until she was 10 days old (her roots were only peeking out of the netpot at 6 days old) ... so no wonder OG has seemed like she's been about a week older than GG this whole time! That one is a ROCKET!!! Wowsie! 01/08 - Continuing to ponytail OG and LST GG... and both are loving it... responding really well. OG's side bud sites are almost completely catching up to the main cola so I think I'm going to just let it ride for a while. GG is needing more LST every day, keep pulling her over, letting her small bud sites into the light and they're responding well - had I left them alone, they would have been candidates for defoliation at some point - this way, they'll probably develop into good sized buds. 01/10 - The girls are really going to town but I'm having to do some hard LST on OG to try to keep her at a similar height as GG or we're going to have problems with the light distance soon. I may also have to do some defol on her soon - she's just terribly bushy! They're both loving their nutes - GG's is slightly less than OG's - and I'm keeping GG's pH at 6.0 since she doesn't seem to like it any higher than that... 01/11 - So the ponytailing days are over... both are being "normally" LST'd and they're both pretty much the same height which is good. Did some defoliation on OG yesterday - just took the two top fan leaves off since they were so massive they were shading the entire plant... she looks awfully good this morning and I'm super pleased. Starting to look for signs of pre-flower - should be soon!

Great week in growth. I started to use side led light and turning table, as on video. Now plant has light from top and all sides. Size of some leaves is XXL. Plant is not very fast in maturing, but very strong in structure.

This week noticed the plants grow considerably faster, and the roots have shown impressive growth after just one week.
