Day 1 - LST train both plants... Mostly SB1 to have a wider canopy let the smaller nodes catch up. SB2.. Nice structure, really upset to break 1/2 of it... But loads of energy and recovered /train well. Nodes larger than SB1, but SB1 has mode nodes

Popped them straight into rockwool, 9 days later they all emerged just adding a few drops of water every couple of days

Aug 3: this is a very promising looking plant. She鈥檚 quite big and flowering quite quickly which is a great combo. She was the exact same size as my other photoperiod until the start of flowering two weeks ago, and now she鈥檚 bigger and flowering faster. Humidity is quite low during the day so I鈥檓 continuing to mist the leaves a few times during the day. Did a foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate this morning. Aug4: did a major defoliation to remove small lower buds and stuff that was growing in toward the centre. This improves light penetration and air flow which are super important but also forces the plant to direct the energy where you want at the main colas, and not wasted down below. Aug 5: lots of buds forming quickly on lots of decently uniform colas. Should be good. Big rain last night but plants were in dark garage. Watered this morning with 27 C water that had blackstrap molasses, soluble seaweed extract, Monster Maxx and Cal-Mag. Did all four on the weak side of the standard concentrations listed and just 1L used on the plant. Much cooler today so she won鈥檛 need as much water. Aug 6: added UV lights from AC Infinity. Very well deigned and manufactured like all of their gear. These are indoor lights so fair weather use only. This far north (53 N) we run out of strong sunlight before it gets too cold in the fall. Idea is to use UV lights for a couple hours each day centred at peak sun (currently 1:39 pm). UV light is the main environmental limit on THC and this will make the light in Edmonton in September more like California in July. Should have a big impact this far north. At other end of light spectrum, I use Forever Green Indoors (FGI) 730 nm far red light as a bloom booster. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes for the far red light. This is the third season using the far red light and it definitely works. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Day 8 - so I鈥檓 into my 2nd week, no problems to report. Will be purchasing a 300w LED in the next couple of weeks for flowering. Growth has remained steady, gave each a small amount of nutes today, about 1ml per 500ml or so, not going to feed much just yet as these babies have only just started. I may upload a video unboxing the LED growlight and showing my setup, will also be purchasing a ph / moist monitor. 鉁岋笍馃徎 Day 12 - tried hanging pots using bungee cords but it wasn鈥檛 worth the hassle, it made the setup a little more fragile. Happy with the overall setup now, plants at a good distance from CFL. I have ordered Advanced Nutrients Grow Micro Bloom pH Perfect and CalMag, they should arrive tomorrow so I am excited! 馃槏 ordering 300w LED next week 鉁岋笍馃徎 Day 13 - nutrients have arrived, super excited!! Day 14 - plants responding well to the nutrients! Week 2 is over, plants looking healthy, roll on week 3! :)

Week 5 begins! Mandarin dreams 1 & 2 are doing well, however MD1 stinks like shit 馃挬 and MD2 has a mild earthy smell. Increased feeding to 5 liters per plant and did some defoliation of the yellowing leaves. Moved the ladies to the other side of the room for the rest of the grow. Thanks for stopping by 馃懡馃尦馃敟

This week I did a single topping at the 5th node. Along with this I applied low stress training and tucking to expose the new growth.

First off I just want to say for some reason it鈥檚 not letting me change the right temperatures on my diaries ! Each time when I put it in they stay at 50. My day air stays 75 degrees an , night degrees is 70 ! Today is day 58 for all these ladies! This week has been really great ! Girls really progressed a lot , especially for one the Forbiddin Runtz, looks like is gonna finish up in a week or 2 ! Other then that they are coming along well! Keep those eyes peeled for next week! Cheers馃樁鈥嶐煂笍馃挩馃挩馃挩馃挩

Safe to say we're heading into flower. I'm pretty close to full strength on the nutrients at this point. Still defoliating and filling in the screen. Plant on the right is slightly behind as far as kicking into flower. Some yellowing browning just starting a tips. I'll change out the water tomorrow (on day 49). Averaging water changes every 12 days. Day 49: Did not change water today, will on day 52 or 53 instead. Decided it could just be the light being too close. Moved it up and did a little lst above the screen. All done removing branches and leaves. Great end to the first week of flower.
