Blütewoche 9 – Ernte in Sicht? Zeitraum: 17. Juli bis 24. Juli Blütetag: 56 bis 63 So langsam geht's wirklich dem Ende entgegen, die neunte Blütewoche ist rum, und die Lady sieht einfach nur fantastisch aus! Die Buds sind richtig schön ausgereift, dick, harzig und verströmen einen herrlich fruchtig-süßen Duft. Es kribbelt schon in den Fingern – ich denke, bald ist es soweit. Ich hab mir diese Woche regelmäßig die Trichome unter die Lupe genommen. Einige sind noch glasig, viele schon schön milchig, und vereinzelt zeigen sich auch die bernsteinfarbenen. Es sieht also sehr vielversprechend aus, aber ich warte vielleicht noch ein bis zwei Tage, um noch etwas mehr Reife rauszuholen. Heute checke ich sie nochmal gründlich und entscheide dann, ob geerntet wird oder ob ich ihr noch ein kleines bisschen Zeit gebe. Was ich in der letzten Woche gemacht habe. Ich habe den Lichtzyklus nochmal angepasst. Vom 18. bis zum 21. Juli lief sie unter 11/13, danach hab ich auf 10/14 runtergeschaltet. Damit wollte ich ihr ganz klar signalisieren: „Es ist Zeit, fertig zu werden.“ Zusätzlich habe ich die Lampe nochmal um 10 cm höher gehängt, um die Lichtintensität etwas zu reduzieren und den Stress zum Ende hin minimal zu halten. Gegossen habe ich übrigens nicht mehr. Man merkt deutlich, dass sie in der Endphase nicht mehr so viel Durst hat – das Substrat bleibt deutlich länger feucht. Etwas Sorge hat mir die Luftfeuchtigkeit gemacht. Die war wetterbedingt ein wenig erhöht, lag aber mit 56–66 % noch im vertretbaren Bereich. Die Temperaturen waren nachts bei 22–25 °C, tagsüber bei 28–30 °C, also alles im grünen Bereich. Bisher sieht alles gut aus, keine Spur von Schimmel. Die Pflanze kommt mit den Bedingungen gut klar. Jetzt steht also die finale Phase an. Die Ernte und das Trocknen. Auch das wird nochmal spannend, aber wenn das Wetter halbwegs stabil bleibt, sollte es gute Bedingungen dafür geben. Das nächste Update kommt dann nach der Ernte, wenn die Buds getrocknet sind und ich ein erstes Fazit ziehen kann. Ich freu mich drauf!

Day 45 17/08/24 Saturday Another watering today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only. Lemon skittles and XXL ammo are tall, bud nice and smelly plants! So officially 11 weeks and 5 days into the grow so a little early to post week 12 but have got a busy week next week. Still having to cut off the odd bud here and there that gets too close to the lights. Unfortunate but hopefully the fact it’s so tall means I’ll still get a fair bit from the buds around the sides and just under the canopy. TDS @ 0.5 is riding around 950 - 1050 Usually alternating days between adding fertiliser and nutrients. She’s drinking about 12 litres or 4.5 gallons every two full days. Once she’s harvested and weighed in, I’m going to post a long list of points and tips I have learned along the way for any other noobs out there. Already bought another tent for the next grow which is 240cm tall x 110cm x 180cm vs the 180cm tall x 60cm x 120cm one I’m using at the moment. Hopefully that means no more burnt buds! Week 8 of Flower 🌸. Trichomes are milky . Going to keep these ladies going one more week and just feed them water with a little molasses . Excited about harvest . But the buds aren’t very dense. Even thought they are pretty big . So I’m guessing the yield won’t be as big as it looks .

End of week 5 - Night 41 Added a couple videos, one from the side of the buds and one from the back (LST) things are going well for this plant now, it may only be 15-18cm but its flowering stronger than my other plants. the smell is just getting more pure and strong every day :) and its getting frostier too :D so excited! I have to grab myself a magnifying glass of sorts on monday to try and estimate when harvest will be :o

Day 64. All looking good. Gave her some banana fertilizer and some Blackstrap molasses. Sprayed all the foliage around her again with safe insecticide and found some aphid nests around her too and nuked them 😎. Little defoliation of popcorn bud sites and leaves feeding into the branches and stems blocking sun from bud sites. Water only with molasses for the next 3 weeks. Weather is looking great for the next few weeks so looking forward to end result! 🤓 Day 68. She is starting to buff out 😍. Gave her some water with molasses.

March 7, 2019 Update: I've been flushing the DinaMed CBD+ and Cherry Hemp plants since the weekend. I'll chop them down and hang them to dry this weekend. Critical+ and Cream & Cheese CBD have been fed this week with MegaCrop and Cal+Mag Pro. I'll start flushing the Critical+ and Cream & Cheese CBD this weekend for a week. The Critical + has the best trichome coverage, DinaMed has the fattest buds and Cream & Cheese has the longest buds. Win-win-win!!! 😃

Continued feeding plant with each watering of 2 litres every 3/4 days. The flowers are fattening up nicely, into some bigish colas, meaning harvest isn't too far away. Removed some dieing leaves from bottom of the plant. Almost time to stop feeding and start the flushing process.

This girl is amazing! She Held out another week before flowering and could be the biggest because of that but only time will tell as the Lemon pie and forbidden runtz are topped 😊 so stay tuned! Seeds opened after 24h in a petri dish after which I placed them in coco pellets -> see week 1 👌

Day 29: LST is done. I set the lamp approx 36 cm away. BlackBerry Kush, LSD-25 started flowering. All of them are OK started growing rapidly. 600W LED, 20 hours on 4 hours off the same with ventilation. Water intake: 75 ml per plant plus triggering, humidity around 60 percent. Fertilization is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with BioBizz family, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. Day 30: I did LST again. I didn't have enough elastic band yesterday so I bought today and bent them better. I also set the lamp closer approx 34 cm. Day 31: I did LST yesterday and bent them. They already "lifted up" their heads toward the lamp. As they grow I will keep bending the main stalk and the side ones. I will try to create a spiral form and spread the plants with time. Day 32: Most of them started flowering except Colorado Cookies. BlackBerry Kush aggressively started floweing. This plant is very strong and aggressive. Day 35: pre flowers nicely coming along.... Balckbeery Kush and LSD-25 are the quickest. I changed the lamp as it is now really good.... so I placed an other 600W lamp there. I will swap these lamps one week here other week there. I will change that lamp after harvest. End of the week the tallest is BlackBerry Kush with approx 25 cm (I bent them so can't give perfect measurement) and the shortest plant is approx 18 cm.

The harvest went well, I left it in the dark for 2 days before cutting it. drying 12 days at 60% humidity the smell is crazy, I can't wait to taste it

This week, we feed mycorrhizal fungi to the plants and it gets the excellent results. The plants grow extraodinarily.

Day 66 : This lady continues fattening, faster now. Also crystal production increased. The breeder suggests 70-75 days. For now all crystals are almost milky with some cloudy. So she need 1 week for sure, maybe a bit more. That gum smell is so attractive, you want to eat it. Reduced bio grow and removed Calcium. Edit 70 : I saw the first ambers, very little. So i watered for last time with juices Next watering will be flush to reduce the juices in the soil. So if initially has 1200-1300ppm i want to reduce it to 350-500ppm. After flush continue pure water until chop chop. This is my approach for all ladies always.

Topping appears to be working well. Began some LST via tie down to encourage growth to other branches.
