Velvet Octane by Humboldt Seed Organization is an Indica-dominant feminized cannabis strain derived from an elite selection of our 4-way OG backcrossed into our in-house, uncirculated OG/Afghan cultivar. This combination establishes more compact growth with hardier structure supported by slightly broader fan leaves typically known to OG Kush. Resilience, flavor and potency Dense buds brimming with trichomes, flavor and potency Velvet Octane showcases strong lateral branching that helps to support large cola development in later stages of flowering. The complex terpene profile dominated by beta-myrcene and beta-caryophyllene is expressed through sharp and pungent gassy fumes accompanied by a deep essence of spicy black pepper and lemon citrus. Strong cerebral effects are accented by a strong terpene combination that creates a very long-lasting high, which makes this strain great for end-of-day use. Rapid growth during early stages of the vegetative cycle make for larger, more vigorous growth than the standard OG Kush cultivars. Nutritional demands are higher than average but nitrogen consumption remains modest.
