two of the four females are way behind compared to the others, the pistils are just starting to show up now, while in the other four the pistils are already quite fat. as it's my first time, I'm not sure how much time I have left to harvest, but I believe it's around 5 weeks.

I love this plant. She is so strong and grows with a lot of vigor. I am a little annoyed as I have been quite busy so I have been feeding the room the same mix and I think this one is started to show signs she is pissed off at me . There are the start of nutrient burn on her tips. I do not like this. I do not want this. So I I'll make her a slightly different feed this week and reduce the EC by a bit. Back down to a 1.5-1.6ec . Lights are at 40% drawing 180w. Lovely..😎 Uvb is not on yet as I have been away working and don't want to scare my wife away from the great job she does feeding when I'm away.. so I will deploy it as soon as I'm back and can be around to observe the effect.. it's all new to me so a bit of a lesson to carry forward to future grows... Girls are starting to flower. GC is taking off and bushing out like crazy. Blueberry Chemdawg is taking off as well just not as quick as the Green Crack. I've been constantly tying the tops over on the Green Crack so as of now it looks like about 8 Main colas. Can't wait for these girls to fatten up and see what they can do!

There's one plant that isn't growing like the others and I can't find the reason. Despite that, this week went ok.

Season 2 is officially underway and so excited for this grow. Growing 4 plants, but space is a lil limited. Growing in an 80x80cm so using small pots. 2x 8l and then 1x 5l and 1x 4.7l (if you wanna be exact lol). This time I decided to experiment a bit. I'm testing 2 different soils, both in 8l pots, both Purple Punch Auto by Fastbuds, both in airpots. Their names are Lily and Robin. Also testing fabric bags against airpots. Both in same soil, both in 5l pots, both Wild Dwarf Auto by Bulk Seed Bank (that was the plan but now it's 1 WD and another Purple Punch). Their names are Jess and Cece. For this one, Jess, had the seed in water for a few hours and then into soil in 5l fabric pot. The seed shell was holding on for its life when it popped up and I had to give it some motivation so hopefully she recovers well.

The ladies really didn’t have too much change this week except girl #2 seems like she’s caught up in height to girl #1. I have to make a correction to from week 3. I stated I topped the girls when i actually did some light FIMing.I wanted to be sure i corrected that mistake before my diary process any further. I kind of went a little too heavy on the feeding and the girls showed some slight yellowing and a 1 leaf started to Slightly curl into a taco. Nothing too serious but I definitely will be dialing back on the feeding doses. decided to do some defoliation To the fan leafs that were significantly blocking light from future bud sites. I’m not sure how these girls will take to me cutting off foliage. Only time will tell. These girl are starting to put off Some stank. The smell it’s very strong but you can get a sense of what’s to come. It smells of gassy sweet pineapple citrus. Have to admit I was skeptical until I did a stem rub and these girls were spot on. When rubbing the stem they smell so much more sweeter almost like a candy sweet smell. really appreciate all who have viewed my diary. I’m actually shocked how people viewed it so far. Hey now, hope everyone is well, this week went pretty good, both Glueberry OG Autos sprouted, and look good for a week in. They are currently in Pro-Mix seedling starter mixed with perlite but will be transferred to Coco Coir/Perlite as soon as their roots fill up the solo cups. I have grown seedlings in Coco Coir many times but I prefer to start them in ProMix because as there are no nutes in coco, you have to start with tiny quantities of nutes and work them up each feeding, and seedlings can be very finicky to EC/PH etc., and some strains can even be much more so than others. With Pro Mix, there is enough nutes for the first several weeks so I just give them water with a plastic syringe every 2nd or 3rd day. I have found that starting seedlings in Coir doesn't really produce a big advantage (at least for me) but her time in Coir will come. A couple things I also do is make sure to go by container weight above all else to know when to water. It is very easy to overwater seedlings and drown them, as I did when I first started. The other thing is I just lightly water around the very edge of the cup, to prevent drowning the roots, and also to force them to work their way out to the edges of the container instead of straight to the bottom. I started prepping a few bricks coco for this grow last night, I am re-using the coir from my last grow. I flushed it down to .4 EC and I currently have it soaking in a Cal Mag solution of 2.0 EC. I will let it soak for a few days then flush it again back down to around .4 EC. This is important to prevent cal mag deficiency down the road. To flush I just use a garden hose and a couple of saw horses with a 2X4 running through the handles of some fabric pots filled with my coir. It makes it easy to flush, and also easy to catch runoff underneath and measure the EC. I inspected and tested 2 of my drainage system this afternoon as I always test them outside with a few gallons of water before I set them up in the tent. Not much to do this week but hand water them every couple days, and hopefully by next update one of them will be ready or damn near ready for her final home which will be a 5.4 Gallon Airpot. I will be giving the other away to a friend to see what he can do with it. Once in her final home she will get fed 4x per day, and the runoff will go to my tomatoe plants outside which will also be in coir. I am super excited to crank this Medic Grow Spectrum X up and see what she can do. I am currently running her at 30% which is about 230 watts. I will be adding more seedlings to the tent here shortly to try and fill her up, but I started with the longest autoflowers and am trying to time them so they are all ripe within a relatively close time frame. It's officially week 4 of veg. What a ride! These ladies DO NOT give up and neither did i. Second grow, it is a learning curve. With all the growth stunned, i am a bit impatient. BUT the good news is the smallest have starting growing again. Anyways... 👽👉19/9 New automation program for this week. (See pictures for app screenshots for automation and datalogger) Temps - 21night/29day RH% - 60RH night / 68RH day My plan is to decrease the humidity at night, to increase the vpd. The same goes for my light output and nutrients. Changing the variables gradually over time. 👽👉20/9 I topped two more plants. The growth is gradually getting better. They should be ready for their first real feed tomorrow. (Only top fed them last watering) 👽👉21/9 ** First real feed. -They reacted well to a last lose dose top feeding, so this time i will give them a full feed, but same low dose. -Programmed new automation based on VPD Graf (see pictures) Set to 1.0 VPD. // Inkbird app, i am adjusting the RH% to the temp in the tent. -Did some experimental LST on one of the smaller ones. Dont have a co2 meter, but have co2 bag. But it has not been added as a variable to the climate calculations. 👽👉22/9 The new automation program has proven efficient and working(for now). Now its interesting to see the plants adapting the constant VPD. 👽👉23/9 Did some more LST work to keep the tallest ladies at level. 👽👉24/9 Visiting the ladies and checking up on the lst work. Tucking in leaves, plotting my next move. *Water day. they shared 5 Liter, where the bigger ones got more. PH 6.4 - EC 1.52 (Last water was PH 6.4 - EC 1.37) 1.5ml/L Bio heaven+Bio fish. (Next time they will get 2ml/L) 👽👉25/9 Turned up the lights from 75% to 100%. Temps are about to rise higher. might as well let the ladies get used to it.

I'm going to give her a few more days still, we're not quite there yet. Doesn't look like I'm going to pull much off of this one... but we'll see. There are a few really nice dense nugs.

Allright guys & gals, In my Quest to mastering the art of growing my own bud I've reached the classic, overfeeding point but i've decided to just dile it down a gear and keep at it...I'm amazed with the Northern Lights blooming, it looks way readier then the Diesel Haze, eventhough it was planted 2 full weeks after. the budsare smaller still, but fostier and just looking riper....I have noticed the bigger leaves getting some nasty nuteburn (or at least I guess thats what it is) . I will definately go super easy on the nutes next grow. ....Trust the process.... Update... The NL is suffering quite a bit... Update... Giving just water the next times to see if they recover... Pistils becoming brown now and smell slowly getting stronger...
