week intel: its time to harvest top buds! because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. its crucial to get uniformed buds in terms of quality that you let the lower buds to get some extra air and especially light! then the pop corn buds quality will reach the top buds. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

hello guys... welcome back to queen peaky's diaries and gardens! this cultivation didn't go quite as I wanted... my girls started flowering very early... and the results were... soil and nutrients thrown away for a very poor crop... we can....and we will do better!

Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

Hey guys! New week, here we are! As always, every Sunday is cleaning day. Took everything again from the tent, washed the saucers. Was also time to cut down some leaves as it was starting to look very bushy and hard for the light to get through it. During that time, came across with some bugs under the foliage, which isn't a great sign for sure. Not to mention the fruit flies that move in and are making my life a little chaos. Reducing now the RH a bit, and watering now on every 72h instead of 48h to keep the grow as dry as possible. Increasing the ventilator speed was another attempt, it so much air circulating should be hard for them to make a living inside. Just put now more of those fly traps and will add a couple glasses of cider vinegar here and there, as it attracts most of the flying things with success. Note that some plants are yellowing and that's never a good sign. Though for few weeks it was Nitrogen deficiency, but after increasing it and the CalMag values, the problem persists, so I'm inclined for something bug related. Besides that, temps are still very stable, RH was changed, now to 40% tops, and the light went a little lower to get it closer to the plants - always with the light burn effect in mind. 40cm is the line between the tops and the lamp. Flowering is looking good, buds are forming well and seems that's gonna be a good ending if I can keep the bugs under control. She's on pre-flower, switched the nutrients and increased a bit the feeding volume. That's all folks, have a great week

Happy weekend everyone. Hope you and your plants are all healthy. On Tuesday this week I decided to flip to flower as I believe both of these strains like to stretch a fair bit. Let's see if that is the case. Gave them all a big plain water and trimmed off fan leaves before flipping. They looked very bare and I had the panic of thinking that I may have taken too many fan leaves. The humidity went up to 65% at one point because of it. So I cranked my little heater up to raise the temperature and drop the humidity. They have gained a lot of fan leaves back in their first four days of stretch and the humidity is coming back down accordingly. PHEW!!!!! I feel these next few weeks will be crucial and will really shape how this grow will finish up. Y'all gotta pray for me 😂. See you all next week. Bending ULH1, and give her a dose of 1l: (3ml/l TopVeg+1ml/l Green Explosion) , after the Nutrients dose it got a little more darker. The broken leaves are being replaced by the new branches leaves, so the storm was just a little pain ... Vigorous mode: ON Watering ULH2: It is getting more colour :) . I think it is starting to root well and eat the nutes stored in the soil.

Not really big buds but going really good,they have time to grow more flowers but don't hope too much,still love them,D53(Update)I purchase an CFL maxibright 200W and I'm gonna still with that until harvest

Longer warmer days

In the second Week i started to give them a few nutrients. Maybe a bit too much, as you See in the last 2 Videos. Since its very cold (-5°C) in Germany i've put a heating cable losely around the pots to Heat Up the soil a bit.

Overall I'm extremely impressed with this strain. Terpene profile definitely leans traditional GG#4. Extremely pungent and lingering aroma. I personally wouldn't consume this if I had any plans for the day. Definitely helps with my sleep issues. The bud to leaf ratio was above average and fairly easy to trim. The bud themselves are extremely resinous and dense. So if you've followed this grow you'll know I made to change back to organic growing and made a light change mid grow. I'm glad I went back to organics because it's always been the favorable growing style of mine. I switched to a light bar style LED from Kind LED lights and noticed a big difference over the Spider Farmer. Now let me state that the Kind pulls more watts and should technically on paper out perform the smaller SF2000 from Spider Farmer. This is not at all a slam against Spider Farmer because I love my Spider lights. I really didn't do anything special this grow other than my normal routine. I topped multiple times and the rest was a mixture of LST and HST techniques. I finished in a 10 Gallon pot to try and fill my canopy to provided grow area. The organics I pretty much kept as simple as possible. Amended soil before transplant and topdressed every 4 weeks. What I would consider the most important aspect of organic growing is to not let the soil dry out and keep the microbial life in your soil prosperous and happy. Well im not very good at this at all but I do hope everyone enjoyed this grow and appreciate all the support and comments ❤️. Thank you. Oh I pulled 12.47 ounces off of this plant dried 😁

In the last week the water was freshly mixed with Canna Flush and an Ec of 0.4 in order to completely use up the nutrients in the last few days 👍. You can see it on the beautiful autumn yellow leaves :-). Before harvesting, the lights were turned off completely for 48 hours. After everything was neatly trimmed by hand, the buds were put into the drying tent, where they are allowed to dry for the first 8-12 days at a humidity of 62% before they ferment with 62% boveda packs in jars. After another 3-4 weeks in the glasses, the 58% boveda packs come in for the final touch :-). Of course, the final update comes from the fermented end product 👍. Week nine all of the girls are doing very well continuing to have a very fast growth no problems so far I had leap leafhoppers that were giving me some trouble early on, but they seem to be all gone now so that is great. The girls should have about 4 to 5 more weeks of veg so expecting another foot or two of growth before they hit that bud They’re all larger than the plants I grew in 2023 and the smallest plant was 4 pounds so still expectations are high excited to finish out this season
