In this dairy I will be growing two, Big Kush photoperiod plants alongside 4 others (see other dairies) using the methods of Topping, Low Stress Training, ScrOG and slight defoliation under the screen. I am growing in a 4x4 area and will be using a 250W MH, 400W & 600W HPS over the grow period. The other 4 plants will be grown using the same technique and environment, I am just splitting the dairies into separate strains as recommended by GrowDairies. The seeds were placed directly into solo cups that were pre-soaked with plan, pH'd water overnight beforehand. After three days all seedlings had emerged, and I placed them in the shadow of my other plants currently being grown for three more days. After this I transplanted them directly into the 11L pots that they will be in until harvest (see photos). I will be growing the plants until the are roughly 6 weeks old or 1m tall, whichever comes first. I will be bending them and keeping the branches low to build an even canopy, so this time period could change. All of the seedlings are being grown in BioBizz all-mix soil, so I will not be using nutrients either for the first 1-2 weeks. Any questions or recommendations, please let me know! Thanks :)

So how was this week. Major changes: Turned lights to 14 /10 to reduce heat on the plants and reduce burning the tips. Keep tent open during the day to reduce humidity and temperatures using 2 fans. Temps range from 76 -78 with rh 43 - 46%. Put the plants in the garage at night. This greatly reduces night temperatures also we have been having colder than normal weather. The night temperatures ranged from 53-58 & rh 41-51%. I continued to flush with a gal of water for each plant on day 79. This is because I've been over feeding and thought this could reduce the in plan nutrient stores. Responses to my last question revealed that I have a cal mag problem. I go to our local hardware / garden store that I know carries cannabis fertilizers. No they did not have any cal mag solution. Order came in yesterday at the end of the week. Day 81 fed 1 tsp tiger bloom per gal ( used 2 gal for all plants). Ppm was at a very low 410. This is much lower than the recommended feeding range but they have been getting too much. Day 82. Normally I would not water as the pots still had weight to them, but the cal mag came in so I made up 2 gal with 2 tsp fox farm cal mag and fed their usual water amount. 👏 Based on the seed info, it looks like I'm within a week or two from harvest. Res is still 3/4 full at around 650 ppm and 5.6 ph. Decided to leave for this week then change next week. Both shooting out hairs, some of the old leaves are dying off. Just pulled off dead leaves, or almost dead leaves. Did minor lst adjustments and quick tucking.

Day 8 : Still watering a small amount everyday, before lights turn off. No nutrients, only my lentils juice, to help roots production. She show no deformation, leaves have a perfect shape. That's something i was used to with auto ^^ She is a bit too tall in my opinion, but she's not stretching anymore. Good. Still planning to add dirt on the top, to simple solve this. She Spend day outside, the weather is still perfect.

- Switch from a MH Bulb to an HPS Bulb - Discover "Fimming" a form of LST were you bend the stem to maintain its height. Not ideal for autos but seemed to work based on a small sample size. - First week were I trimmed leaves from the plant. From research I found that most people suggest not to trim the autos as they have less time to recover. I found that if you have very healthy plants it can be done but to a point - Had some brown spots forming on the leaves. From what I could figure out it is called Leaf Septoria and is caused by to much humidity and not enough air circulation. Trimmed all leaves with brown spots which was only a few - Last feeding for the big 3 at 1/4 strength

2 weeks and 3 days into flower. Improved air ventilation by moving oscillating fan to the top of the tent, moved extractor fan to the bottom of tent and reversed polarity for more air circulation. LST scrog net applied. AFGOO strain seems to be flowering much quicker than GC strain.

Day 78 - pheno 1 was cut down, id normally hang dry the whole plant but decided to do it in branches instead. Second pheno has been left in darkness as i haven't had the time to cut. Pheno one is hung up and drying.. Room Humidity 60/60. As soon as she's dry enough I'll finish trimming her up. Then put them into jars. Might use boveda 60% packs but I'll see. Smells strong! This week I moved them into bigger pots, which is why I think now they were not growing as big as I hoped. They seem to be doing well, and I have added the net now and will let the canopy build up. Since I moved to bigger pots, I did not need to water for a bit, but I think it will be back to normal this week. Check out the video I did today of the room.

Well overall i would say i failed these girls but oh well, i have 4 more of these seeds so i will be trying them again in the future, hopefully i get better results.

The week went again pretty uneventful, other than me not getting the tip burn under control. I have further reduced base nutrients, removed the green sensation (simply because I ran out ;)) and increased pk 13/14 further. The buds continue to develop new pistils and continue to swell. The trichomes look mostly milky at this stage, I will however wait until I have around 20%-25% amber. I have cut a bud from the lower canopy (pictures attached), which is quite solid to touch and had a wet weight of roughly 1,2 gr and is currently drying. Overall the bud structure on this plant looks amazing the buds a re super dense, nicely clustered around the stems and she looks like she'll be a joy to trim.

Day 43-23/01/22 all looking good!!!! Day 49-29/01/22 everything still going good The mars hydro lights are working well! They all seem to be growing the same the odd one abit slower but so far so could!!! I put one of the chemdawg in the hps tent to see how different it comes out!!! But yeah very easy going at the moment!!!

Day 40 ( 3 in flower) : These girls are amazing and deserve some star status for their growing ability. From the off these girls have given full attention to their growth , even the 2 girls that were suffering under the intensity of the lights ( moved to 24 "now.) It gave 2 of them tip curl like too much Nitrogen does so had me head scratching on the new Mega crop and dosages. Now figured they are continuing to outgrow most of the other strains running. They have been easy to work with on their lst and pin down and far extend the pots edges. #1 The living organic girl is loving her spot in the room and paying me back in her spurts of growth. # needs a little thinning out but happy .#3 Is a willing bush in the making but a good defol will open her up.

Bloom : 3-Week Very Hot 🔥

In week 9 my 'Fruity Terp' ladies have grown substantially and filled out the space in my HOMEBOX growtent. Therefore its time to do a round of defoliation. I take out my plants one by one and cut off the lowest branches on the stem (the ones not grown tall enough to get good light) and also the biggest fan-leaves (the ones shading the lower part of the canopy). The defoliation will increase the airflow thru my plants, which will in turn help to avoid mold from a build-up of humidity between the leaves. The light can now also penetrate deeper into the canopy now and therefore lower buds will also get more light and can grow bigger. The SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs are doing a GREAT job, my babies love their spectrum and intensity and grow like hell. The nutrients from BIO NOVA work EXCELLENT, all plants have a nice healthy green color. Since we are further in flowering now, I also add PK 13-14 from BIO NOVA following their 'SOIL-CULTIVATION' schedule.

12/28/2023: soaked my Peat Pellet in distilled water, mixed with a dash of Rootwise Mycrobe Complete, and planted the seed directly into it. Put into my 2x4 tent, which is currently running 20 hours on a 4 hours off. Temps are about 82° F when lights are on with an averge RH between 80% and 85%. 12/31/2023: She finally sprouted today! In order minimize any transplant stress, I added her to the 10 gallon pot of BuildASoil 3.0 today, and sprinkled some OptiVeg and Dynomyco into the hole. Gave her a very light watering, since I watered the pot pretty heavily a few days ago, when I planted my cover crop. So, there should be enough water for a while.

More Flowering! The rest of the strains started to catch up, but nanners started showing in the hermies and TP started to overripen with orange hairs. I would've gone extra days if there were no nanners, but it wasn't worth it to risk seeding the nugs, I'll just have to settle with more larfy buds. Going to start flushing next week.
