Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Eleven roses surprise mi with pheno diferencies, but in a good way. Mine is resines full buds with flowers almost Fruit aroma. High is quick and Věry sativa feeling like U háve to move and do something! I cant smoke it before bed for sure

Great plant structure so far! The best-looking plant out of all of the ones growing. Roots are starting to come out of the bottom of the pot and Will be transplanting soon. Added a cardboard cover to help stop algie growth on the substrate. 8/23 transplanted to 5 GL pot 8/24 full day after transplant and plant looks great. 8/25 Full feeding 70F 5.8 PH 698PPM

Hi Growmies So here we have it , the end is nigh !. After and interesting 99 Days from seed and 70 days in their flowering phase of an expected 63. It is not unusual to pass the stated times and even early harvest on occasions so I am not hung up about the timing and is another reason that I use the trichromes as a guide to the right time to pull them. The #1 has definitely reached her harvest window now with some Amber tricks now being visible on checking. She looks so sweet now and I did begin to trim her up a little before I started the update pics. I do plan on using the bowl trimmer for speed this run and will video how it goes for the next update. I hate trim-jail so will use the spinner to help. Some of the buds look a bit small low down and I expect drying will shrink them to a Nug but all adds to final yield. I am not too stoked about the overall bud sizes and suspect the products did have an effect on that outcome for me but tje quality and number are its saving grace . The #2 Lady is looking chunkier than her sister although not as big in footprint. Her trichromes are beginning to cloud now so I expect at least another week before her harvest is due #3 is the most impressive for looks and appeal for sure. , she is covered in medium sized colas amd has some of the purpled leaves that the strain is known for. She is also as frosty as hell to highlight her even more. Like #2 she needs the ripening time now so I expect next update to be the final before harvest results. It has been a simple grow with no real dramas to contend with. Thanks for riding along with me. Be well.

Plants started getting real bushy a couple of days after topping. Low Stress Trained all the plants at the end of the week by tying them down using rubber coated garden wire to spread out the newly grown tops. Also spaced out each plant evenly on the tray and turned on the other 2 PB2000 LED lights I had ready to go.

These are doing pretty damn good for the most part. I figured out with the green buzz the only thing in bloom that raises ppm is the base bloom and the more PK which is good to know. Also been using lower ppm for the autos and they seem healthier than usual. These pics and the video were taken on Day 36.

So far so good, changed the fan in the tent, Gotta make a better mount for it before i have it oscillating. Not sure if im gonna get those long dense colas yet or not, Its starting to fill in pretty nice so far tho

Moved everything over to the big room, installed 2 trellis nets to assist the smaller pots from falling over as the flowers develop. I set the lights on a lower umol setting to let the plants adjust to the new light, then gradually increased as they got used to it and flower progressed.

i removed a bit of half dead leaves from plant 1 at the start of the week and i have been flushing both plants since thursday, they both will go into extended darkness this coming wednesday

Added the scrog net and defoliated a bit to help spread out the canopy. They are looking healthy and happy and ready for the flip! That deep-topping really was a great way of creating a very even and clean canopy (you'll see that in the next week's update)
