Week 5 done and dusted and these girls have started their flowering stage, stoked! This week has been a bit slow growing for them unfortunately, I've been super busy and haven't been tending to them as much as I would have liked. I started the week with an over water and then neglected them for a few days and and they dried right out. They were not looking happy. I then top dressed the girls with Herbi's all natural nutrients, 2.5 tablespoons of bloom and 2.5 of Veg mixed in with 5 tablespoons of Worm castings for each girl and i got back to regular watering. They've sprung back up to life but I can't help but think it's another bit of stunt they didn't need. I've bent this girl over and I'm continuously pulling her head over around the pot, just trying different techniques with each girl. Some light defoliation as well. She's hasn't had the best week but I'm hoping she bounces back soon Hope you had a good week, and thanks for checking in 馃檹

The buds get bigger and bigger ... The perfume, even if contained for the low humidity, is beautiful sweet mixed to that similar to the resin of the conifers. as I had foreseen, the plant was destined not to grow much and so it was I was smart to start with a nice LST so as to keep the plant low and so to make all the tops swell .. shortly I put the video All in all a beautiful plant that will surely give me satisfaction

The girls were harvested at 94 days. I didn't weigh it, but I believe they yielded around 30 to 40g for both. I am very satisfied and happy to have achieved a very good result, being my first time growing. A cycle closes and a new will come soon with new soil assembly, new genetics and more experience. Thanks to Shiva for tending and blessing the crop, and to all friends here who have sent messages of support and encouragement. I gained another family. Happy 2023 to all, may it be a year of much evolution and beautiful flowers. Om Shanti

Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven鈥檛 been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it鈥檚 having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I鈥檓 starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I鈥檒l make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can鈥檛 believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I鈥檓 stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it鈥檚 starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It鈥檚 the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It鈥檚 already got a nice amount of amber so it鈥檚 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can鈥檛 wash it off it鈥檚 going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It鈥檚 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn鈥檛 have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can鈥檛 even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don鈥檛 mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it鈥檚 been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I鈥檝e read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I鈥檓 going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

Apricot got got the chop last night! That鈥檚 why I鈥檓 late on my diaries,I knew she鈥檇 be ready! But man,she was an amazing plant to grow. There towards the end she started throwing new pistols but I think that鈥檚 just due to going a little too long cause i was wanting amber tricombs. They鈥檙e all fully cloudy with slight amber, can鈥檛 wait to see how she dries and cures馃敟馃敟

Everything is looking great ! Cheese is nearly done, it is starting to show amber. Maui is very happy and smells amazing, it just glistens with tri-chromes. Buttercream is doing well but I think it will take a week or two longer than the others. Blueberry is looking awesome very large thick dense buds. No Blueberry smell but a very strong plant otherwise. *Update Buttercream gelato started throwing Banana's so I removed it from the room. I trimmed it down and did not notice any other signs of hermaphroditism but I will still harvest the plant now just to be safe. There have been no issues with light or heat fluctuations at all, nothing that would trigger it to Hermie that I can think of which makes me think genetics are the issue. I have One other Buttercream going that was cloned before this one went into flower. If it hermies late in the bloom like this one has I will remove the strain from my rotation. I am not particularly pleased with the structure of Buttercream for scrog in any case. The plant that I took down had very large bud sites but were no where near as dense as the other strains in the tent.
