WEEK 8 (04/18/2021 - 04/24/2021) Day 59: 04/18/2021 Defoliated some growth from each plant before I installed my custom-built SCRoG net made of: pvc piping, drywall screws, and jute twine for the netting. It’s slightly smaller than the tent, 41”x41” with a second level for another net. It fits perfectly, leaving plenty of room to work around the edges and move the fan around if needed. Immediately after defoliation and installing the net, I watered using ½ strength Botanicare Hydroguard. Watering was different. I used a battery-powered liquid transfer pump to help water the plants a little faster and more efficiently. Also helps to reach the plants I can’t access as easily in the corner. I am unable to test/collect any of the runoff at the moment since installing the net, which wouldn’t be an issue by itself, but my saucers are just barely large enough to fit the base of the 5 gallon pots into. I have no way of sticking a pH pen or TDS meter in the runoff. They simply won't fit between the pot and the saucer. This is extremely unfortunate, as I am now unable to monitor the ppm of the soil with each watering. Will have to pick up some larger saucers soon or think of another solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 61: 04/20/2021 ‘Tis the season to be medicated. Happy Holidaze! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 62: 04/21/2021 Upping the amount of water going into the pots this watering. Previously I was doing 1 gallon of water per 5 gallon pot. I’m increasing the amount of water to 1.5 gallons. Hopefully that will produce enough runoff for taking measurements. It’s going to be a painfully difficult task to take readings but I really need to know what the condition of the soil is right now. Will not be using any nutrients this time considering the runoff was kind of high when I fed on 4/10. This seems a little risky though since it has been 11 days since a nutrient feed, but I’d rather not burn the plants by blindly adding nutrients. Will return. Hopefully with measurements. (some amount of time later) Tap water: 245ppm, 6.1 pH (9 gallons) pH Down: 30ml JB#1 - 2730ppm, 7.0 pH JB#2 - 2290ppm, (pH pen died again on this plant) AP#1 - 2380ppm, 6.9 pH AP#2 - 3610ppm (seems extremely high), 7.0 pH GC#1 - 2320ppm, 6.9 pH GC#2 - 2340ppm, 7.1 pH I don’t know what was up with the measurements on the AP#2. The saucers the pots are sitting in are a little small so I think the ppm might have been reading high because the bottom of the fabric pot was sitting in the runoff. Maybe I’m just saying that to reassure myself. Either way, the 3000+ ppm seemed very off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 66: 04/24/2021 Defoliation + weaving/securing branches through SCRoG. I'm not 100% sure that the SCRoG was the most optimal technique of choice given the very limited space within the grow tent. Also, I almost feel like I installed the screen a little late. Maybe not? Either way, I have read about them and the potential of increased yields, which got me excited enough to build one to try out for myself. I was aware going into it that there would be some difficulties using a SCRoG. I can no longer move my pots around is the main thing. Not being able to move the pots around has increased the difficulty factor of watering/feeding. I now have to access 3 different sides of the tent to get all 6 plants. I've clipped all the ties holding the branches down from previous LST sessions. There was just no way I was going to spend hours weaving in and out of all the ties trying to water each plant while also dealing with the difficulties of a SCRoG obstructing the work space. That would also wreck my poor back. From here, things are going to get real exciting. Tomorrow (04/25) I am rescheduling the light cycle to 12/12 to initiate flowering. Another 60-70 days to go, growing buds and packing on trichomes. With that said, I'm excited to have made it through my very first full vegetative cycle. I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes, as expected, but as long as I keep learning from them future harvest will only continue to increase in quality and yield. So far on my first grow, I did exactly what fast buds had told me to do, until half way through flowering where I started giving full nutrients. All my others were full blasted nutrients from start to finish. This lady here, I did exactly what fast buds told me to do during veg but I started full feed flowering nutrients as soon as i noticed flowering, instead of flowing stepping up week by week. Out of everything, I believe the third way is the best in my experience. I thought I might experiment and dabble throughout the whole grow. Still please with fastbuds genetics, terps, resistance and resilience to pest or other things Still have a handful of weeks to go maybe more but she'll be the biggest one yet

Beginning of 2 week flush on ph balanced water. Watering heavily with a lot of run off every 3 days.

End of week 7(day 50 to be exact). Her buds are starting to put on lots of mass. At this point only the buds in the center of the scrog are still upright on their own. I backed down on my light intensity a bit (on day 46) as she started to foxtail on me a little. Was running about 1600par in the convergence area between the two lights and about 900 on the edges. Backed the lights down to about 550(center) and 375(edges). She has been liking it and has stopped yellowing. She will be on this light intensity for the last couple of weeks. Trichomes are still mostly clear with a few cloudy/amber, so she will definitely be going the full 10 weeks. I backed down to half strengrh on her feed and added a good dose of epsome salt to give her a mag/sulfur boost ti promote ripening. She smells amazing. Earthy dank with a strong overtone of fruit. This pheno will be a breed mother for me in a couple of runs. The best clone is going to a homie's place to be kept in veg. He wants to run her too so we will take cuttings for cycles at his place and i will later when im ready to cross her.

Second week of nutes given on Saturday nice bit of growth from the plants really stretching n reaching out now soaking up as much light as they can quite a few deficiencies showing been giving 1ml calmag ontop of the nutes on the bottle per litre of water , very cramped 1 plant taken out the tent to create abit of space currently 45 in there 2.4m x 2.4m would only recommend putting 36/38 plants it top capacity in 7/9 litre pots

After 2 weeks I chose my favorite plant of the three and prepared her for the Autopot. Now she needs to root this pot for another 2 weeks before we can turn on the Aqua Valve and the tank. DLI 30

This is my 2nd grow of Runtz Auto by Zamnesia. It's a fairly compact strain, smells fruity and this go around smells very similar to poison strains (red poison, Durban poison, ect). I believe the terpene is terpinolene. I wish I could test it😅. Anyways, She was chopped on day 80 Spent 7 days drying Yield: 2.02 ounces dry weight Huge thanks to plagron and Zamnesia. Hi liebe Community and Welcome back! 💚 Jetzt war es Zeit für den Trichomcheck und ja, es sieht genau so aus, als wäre die Pflanze exakt in der 8 Wochen Blüte Range. Nächste Woche ist es dann endlich soweit und die DMO Grapefruit kommt unter die Schere ✂️. Ich habe die Pflanze nochmal Stark ausgedünnt und es zeigt sicher eine sehr stark ausgeprägte Blütenstruktur. Absolut im XL Bereich. Es lässt sich beobachten, dass die Blütenbildung im mittleren Bereich der Colas stark ausgebreitet hat und die Pflanze Richtung Spitze eher etwas dünner wird. Sie bildet die Blüten sehr vielseitig aus, von dünner kompakt bis hin zur breiten dichteren stellen. Ihr Geruch ist nun sehr stark ausgeprägt und eine Grapefruit Note zeichnet sich als markante Hauptnote ab. Bei diesem Typ nochmal etwas intensiver als bei der #2. Abgerundet wird dass ganze durch etwas skungige, Säure und etwas Zwiebel/Pfefferigel Noten. Auch eine leichte Süße Komponente kommt etwas hindurch. Venga familia, cosecha de estas Frosty tooth de Seedstockers, que ganas que tenía. No veas que pinta marcan estas plantas. Las flores aparte se ven bien resinosas y prietas, aparte son aromáticas huelen bien fuerte. En general es una genética con la que disfruté bastante cultivarla, la genética es perfecta para cultivos de floración corta con rangos entre los 20/25 grados en interior, es de dificultad media cultivarla y bien resistente, es excelente para cultivadores algo experimentados y con algo de conocimientos. Hallo liebe Community Ich hatte das Glück meinen angesetzten Zweitsamen aus einer Entfernung von 320 Km zu mir zu holen. Da sie nur wenige Tage auseinander liegen, werde ich sie hier einfach ersetzen und tauschen. Sie hat aktuell ein kleineren Topf. Auch sie hatte eine Energische Begegnung mit einer Katze und musste früh im Nassheil- und Schienen verfahren wieder regenerieren. Aber kein Problem, dass haben sie super gemacht. Sie bekam erst hier (Heute) direkte Mirko und Makro- Nährstoffe, weil es mir vorher nicht gegeben war. Die Lady brauch jetzt noch ein paar Tage zum ankommen aber der Wachstum dieser Purple Haze Auto sieht definitiv positiv aus. Stamm und Blattwuchs machen sich gerade echt super, Seitentriebe entwickeln sich top. Jetzt aktuell befindet sie sich auch in Vorblüte. Trinken tut sie ca. 500 ml eher etwas drunter. Willkommen zurück liebe Community! 🌱💚 Der zweite Genotyp BCH#1erreicht aktuell die Zielgerade der Blütezeit und hat eine eher länglichere und etwas weiter auseinander liegende Blütenstruktur (interniodenabständ) ausgebaut. Die Aromen sind sehr vielschichtig. Angefangen mit einem vorherrschenden starken Zitrus/Limettenaroma gefolgt von einem süßen fruchtigen Touch geht es dann in eine Karamellnote über. Sobald diese Version fertig ist, kommen die Endergebnisse auch in das Labor. Die nächsten Tage wird eine Pflanze vermutlich unter die Scheere kommen.
