It's week 8 and all she is looking great as she progresses deeper into senescence; however, she is still a bit greener than either of her tent mates! She just seems to get frostier ❄️ by the day and her fragrance smells a bit sweeter than last time I ran her. I love her colors, the pink and yellow contrast is just beautiful! I keep checking trichomes, but still not a lot of amber. Maybe another week or more. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM. Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. Applied the scrog net, two layers so far so top layer mainly for repositioning and support. Trying to fill 1.5m2 (5x5) is a big task but seems to be going well so far. Had some slight magnesium deficiency but correcting it over the next few feeds.

they have had 4 days of extended darkness, i left the nutrient info there but i did flush for a week and a couple days extra (many experts say you only need to flush for a week but i like to do a week plus another 2-3 days just to make sure it's well flushed) if it doesn't display there is a video if you open the last picture and click the right side arrow button on it (next picture button) or i think you can click the little play button icon where it should display, they usually don't display properly for me on the page (also video upload is extremely slow i will add)

Defoliated it a few days before harvest so plant can focus more energy on buds. Smells very citrusy, very powerful. Will harvest her in the next few days to start drying process :)

I cannot believe how much growth this week!!! I think she has almost doubled in size!! For the first time I've had to higher the light fixture. It is now almost as high as I can put it. I'm kinda regretting not FIMing her now...... I hope she does not grow much more in height!

Mine stretched pretty severely and never recovered so I pulled it. My dads seems to be doing very well though! A bit overwatered but 🤷‍♂️🏼

The stretching phase for all 3 of these girls seems to have finished now and they look to be going full steam ahead into bud production Carried out a good bit of defoliation over the last week to help expose more of the lower bud sites while also still continuing to rotate the pots to help spread the light coverage. The smell is increasingly turning sweeter as these buds develop more and more. 🍭 All on track so far 🤞🏻 ✌️

March 25, 2023 at 1:48 PM -Ever since I started watering them with lower pH water, 6.0 to 6.3, the 2 BOH’s really started to takeoff. I might do some slight defoliation on all the plants. I’ll takeoff their lower nodes to make it easier to bend them from the main stock. The strawberry crinkle has very close internodes and is really bushy with large and thick fingers. It’s too short to try and bend over so I might have to do more of the defoliation job in order for the lower nodes to get more light. March 28, 2023 at 5:24 PM - March 29, 2023 at 2:01 PM -I’ve bent over several stems this week. I have only had one small accident with the strawberry crinkle. The top was snapped off somehow but I don’t remember it happening, but it seems to be taking it well. I watered them the day before with some tea with ph at 6.3. so far I could bend over things every day. They are starting to cover the entire pot. - Today’s the last day of week three.

Things have been going well as I continued to train the stretching girls to the side of the pots, bending and adding ties where needed. Pheno 1 started showing signs of over watering showing droopy leaves as well as what I think is either nitrogen, magnesium or iron deficiency. I'm leaning towards a iron deficiency since the yellowing is on the newest growth at the top. I think this was caused from giving her too much top amendments in her last feed causing a pH imbalance. What I would usually do is just give her a little flush if this is the case but instead I decided to repot her and the other Pheno into their last 19 litre/4 gallong pots as both were drinking pretty quick and I wanted to avoid over watering again. The rootballs looked beautiful when I transplanted them so I was pretty happy with their progress! This round I've ditched the coco as I had way too many issues with it in the past, including knats and PH issues. In this round I've gone with Biobizz light soil which I added some fish blood and bone, earthworm castings, bat guano and then watered with water and liquid seaweed. I love organic growing :). I do intend on using Coco again but I'll need to do some research on some trusted brands. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know! Pheno 2 is showing signs of recovery but I'd love the input from others about what the deficiency could be? I got my new bubblebags today which is making me want to flip to flower so I can get to harvesting and making some bubble but I'm going to be super patient this round. I want these girls to fill up as much of my 4 x4 tent space as possible. Until next week! ✌️

7/30/23 - Day 48 - OK, so last I posted, I have been waiting to see how tall she grows. She does not seem to be stopping her growth I'm going to try some super cropping. I've never done this before, but it honestly does not seem like a bad thing. Hurt the plant a little, and the response should be more THC. The reason for hurting the plant is so that you can bend the plant as you need it. She's sleeping now, but when she wakes up, ill take a look and possibly start to super crop. Currently, I am working on implementing the auto water feature of the LEAF Grow system, which is quite convenient to set up. All it requires is to hook it up to a standard hose outlet, saving you time and effort. By using Reverse Osmosis (RO) water instead of tap water, I can ensure a controlled and optimal environment for my plants. Tap water contains various additives like copper, zinc, and chlorine, which can't be measured precisely and might affect plant growth. In a successful grow operation, every aspect needs careful control, and water is of utmost importance. RO water, with its near-zero ppm, ensures that there are no unwanted additives, offering the best conditions for plant development. Although RO water is not produced under pressure, I've found a suitable solution to address this concern. To achieve the required pressure for the LEAF unit, which is rated for 30 - 80 PSI, I've researched and discovered that a sump pump would work perfectly in this setup. This pump adds the necessary 30 PSI to the water line as it is drawn from the inlet, eliminating the need to pressurize a bottle or container, thus avoiding potential hazards associated with excessive pressure. I'll be documenting my progress with pictures as I set up this system, and I can't wait to witness the auto water feature in action, saving me from the hassle of manually adding water. Super Crop: I did about half of the plant in a Super Crop today. Meaning I damaged the branches enough to bend them. The plant will work overtime to fix them, but also, the Resin and THC will be surging through the plant in a rush to be more defensive against what it more than likely a predator eating it. I did my best to make the branches pliable. I think I did a good job. I was so scared that I was going to snap them.... and I did; on a couple, they split up the side. So I grabbed my duct tape and added a bandaid. I have been worried sick about how she would handle all the destruction. After about 3 hrs, I saw that all the Super Cropped branches were already reaching back up. This is a great sign that the plant is doing well and that all the branches I was sure were to fall off are thriving. Again I think this box is magic. The topping didn't stunt any growth, trimming a 3-gallon bucket full of leaves 1st week into flower didn't stunt any growth, and Super Cropping 2 weeks into flowering seems to be thriving. I'm going to get to experiment with this LEAF box on all kinds of strains. The possibilities are endless. Just one theory I want to try, Purple. I want to grow a strain known for its purple, and I want to grow it a few times, each time growing it colder and colder to document and show how cold might affect the purple color like we have all read and heard about. These are the kinds of things that I think about and why I choose LEAF. Ill be back to update tomorrow morning. 8/1/23 - Day 50 - I updated some of the pictures. Flowering is going well. Every day the water is less, and the buds are bigger! I scoped out some of the buds already. Now we just wait. i have a water change coming up in a few days. This week was when I first recognized that there was something wrong.... Initially I only realized that the stems of my little girl were slightly bent downward. In some cases I have experienced this orientation when a plant is exhausted and about to got through its sleeping period but, this seemed different. In the following days I began to notice that the lower leaves were beginning to fade, the stems began to turn red, and still the leaves were bending downward and not praying to the light! At first I just figured that my plant was in need of a feeding and transplanting to a larger container but, after doing a bit of research I realized that the I may have been experiencing a phosphorus deficiency. From my understanding I knew that these plants require nutrients that is high in nitrogen during the vegetative part of its life however, I did not realize that it's still needed an adequate amount of phosphorus in this stage too. As I mentioned perviously, I decided to reuse my soil for this grow and as a result of sterlization my growing medium no longer had any nutrients to offer my plant at the time. I believe this is the reason I began to see signs of deficiencies and going forward if I ever reuse my medium again I will make sure to re-amend it before using it. *I also topped the plant at the 5th node this week as well*

Weather had been crazy good the last days. Plants are growing like crazy. Used a little Boom Boom Spray of Biotabs on the plants and now they look all nicely green again. Plant 2 and 3 where looking a bit light green before. Also going to give them some Orgatrex and Bactrex solution this week. Like the biotabs manual says in week 5. Everything is going perfect as it should, good development and good size for 17 days old. She looks very happy just like dark devil number #4 that was planted the same day on August 3rd.let's see if she surprises me 😍💚🌱
