Week 3 of Flower we focus on Defoilation. This really is going to test the genetics response to extreme stress. Performed a 5 day Schwazze to minimize stress instead of ripping off most leave in one day. Plant seem to have reacted well so far. This technique has really opened the canopy and expose many bud sites. Preparing for a top feed at start of new week.

Feeding Molasses, epsom Salt and envi seafeed xtra. Also as foliage spray. Some leftover glozing BB spray. I did a second topping over the 4th new node and tried to defoliate a bit on the bottom. All Plants are doing great, no pest, no signs of nutrient deficits. Still 6 weeks of veg left ❤️

My first ever harvest went great! I trimmed 3 different ways as well as flushed for different amounts of time. 24hr flush and wet trim with bowl trimmer, dried on dry rack. Aprox 4 ounces as i was smoking it soon as it dried, small buds first. 🤷‍♂️🏻 3 day flush. Wet trimmed by hand. Hung to dry. 119 grams Last two ladies were the bushy ones. I let them flush for a full week and then hung to dry. We hand trimmed them both(not as close of trim) to make edibles and oils with. 412 grams! I think I did pretty well on my harvest. I have over a pound of bud! I’m all smiles!

I'm pretty confident it's not a PH issue at this point. Seems plants are rapidily soaking up the nutrients in the water. I also found 8 or 9 fan leaves with slight nutrient burn a few days ago. Nutrient burn seems to have tapered off and haven't noticed any spreading. Going to try adding an additional watering to the schedule to see what happens. I'm hesitant to mix stronger nutrients due to nutrient burn I started to see earlier this week. At the same time, need to figure out the cause of the nutrient deficiencies. I'm currently using the Light Feeding Schedule from Mills Nutrients (says "light", but is still 2.06 EC including 0.54 EC for water + CalMag) Need to switch to flower soon but need to figure out deficiency issues before the switch. Defoliation: * Removed quite a bit of fan leaves suffocating nodes. Girls are 10lbs lighter. Despite the nutrient issues, the girls have been filling out fast. Did a timelapse over the past couple days and can see significant growth in a short period. The week went again pretty uneventful, other than me not getting the tip burn under control. I have further reduced base nutrients, removed the green sensation (simply because I ran out ;)) and increased pk 13/14 further. The buds continue to develop new pistils and continue to swell. The trichomes look mostly milky at this stage, I will however wait until I have around 20%-25% amber. I have cut a bud from the lower canopy (pictures attached), which is quite solid to touch and had a wet weight of roughly 1,2 gr and is currently drying. Overall the bud structure on this plant looks amazing the buds a re super dense, nicely clustered around the stems and she looks like she'll be a joy to trim.

FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. Plants loved their new home from last week.....the crown of one plant got broken off while I was deal with something else....so instead of trying to fix it or throw it out I decided to put it into a pot.....to my surprise 5 mins after doing that I realize it started to straighten up from the training of the tree it broke from....thinking it would be like that for a while until it pushes root.....woke up to find it fully straight and buds got fatter......hope it is a success would be first clone...#happy growing
