So welcome to Week 9 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow! Unfortunately after two years of due diligence- I was finally infected with Covid 19 so I have gotten really behind with this diary. In Week 7, I switched from the Grow to the Bloom fertilizer at a rate of 2.5 mls per gallon. I am still watering every 4th day at 3 litres per plant or 0.75 of a litre per day per plant. This strain seems particularly hungry/greedy so by the end of Week 7, I’ve decided to fertilize with every watering instead of every other. I’m not increasing the dosage of the fertilizer but the frequency in which it’s being given. Other than that the plants are doing fine through Weeks 7, 8 & 9 with the buds fattening up nicely, loads of wet to the touch resin and a super strong smell emanating from the tent even when it’s closed! That’s it for the past three weeks, Covid sucks and thank goodness harvest is just around the corner! Apologies for not offering up any further "mom’s tip of the week" but I’m just finishing up this diary for kicks at this point. Thanks.

Finally at the end of another grow, unfortunately it's the worst grow I've done!!! My heart just wasn't in this grow! It started out well until the flowering stage. Which was right around Christmas, super busy with other things, not maintaining them every day. Leaving them days at a time 4 to5 days before checking ph & ec! So they were constantly rising to high levels, went away a few days & had a watering line come loose flooding the tent & draining the reservoir so they had no water or nutrients for days. Pure laziness!

4/28/25 chopped at day 54 of flowering. Top buds have a nice amount of amber trichomes. was going to let her go another week but the threat of pests made me chop early but its okay shes ready. will update with final weight and smoke report in a week or so. 5/5/25 dried for 7 days and then jarred. i am finding that she was self producing fairly lowkey and successfully. balls and male parts with seeds right below. Probably wont continue with these seeds and i tossed the clones. This plant is white with the density of trichomes on her. She would probably test fairly high.

These ones look to be moving from the stretching phase into full bud production now. I am starting to see more and more trichomes develop which is exciting. Carried a good bit of defoliation this week cleaning up the lower branches and removing larger leafs that block multiple bud sites. Light still is set at 90% power. ✌️🌱🙂

Hi everybody ! ! Its flo week 8. Hot temperatures comin back but only for few days. The lady flowering well. Buds continue to grow. Ive stoped nutrients and will flush her 10 or 14 days. Stay tune ! !

As I am writing this I have just trimmed and jarred my second grow🤠 I managed to pull 203.9 grams. Nearly half a pound off 1 plant, which I am extremely proud of😁 I haven’t smoked her yet as I don’t want to spoil the experience. I’ll wait a good 3 weeks to a month before enjoy this lovely lady. I did unfortunately find a couple undeveloped seeds. She must have thrown nanners early on which I thought was odd because I didn’t even flower for 9 weeks. I guess she just really wanted to come down quick. So I can’t be too mad at her about that. Overall, for my second grow I couldn’t have been happier with the results. These girls got lollipopped and a defoliation this week. I think having some more air flow at the pots level they'll get the dryback I'm shooting for. Now they'll also be able to focus all there energy on the top colas. All in all Happy Growing.
