Welcome to my 9lb Hammer by Jinxproof Genetics grow. I picked up these seeds in person at Boston Freedom Rally. Jinxproof is a swell dude and I feel really fortunate to be able to grow such renowned genetics. The plan is simple -> All Organic Supersoil from Nature's Living Soil and mainlining (probably). D1 - 9.16 - Two soaked/toweled seeds dropped into solo cups with bottom 1/3 NLS Super soil mix and top 2/3 Fox Farms D2 - 9.18 - We have a sprout D3 - 9.19 - Both 9lb hammer sprouts have surfaced D5 - 9.21 - 😈💪🙏 If you are keeping track of my other grows, you might have caught on that I'm clumsy and knocked over three cups, all on separate occasions, before they even sprouted! I feel pretty lucky they all made it up and out fine

D9 - 9.25 - Jinxproof genetics doing their thing. Looking forward to moving these into 5 Gallon fabric pots soon! D11 - 9.27 - Transplanted into 5 gallon pots D12 - 9.28 - Muy Bueno! These plants seems super vigorous D14 - 9.30 - Obviously transplanted to 5 gallon pots. Would love to hear peoples thoughts on transplant timing! Do you usually wait longer to transplant? I love these plants, they just looks super strong and happy - my most pious prayers

D16 - 10.2 - Starting to notice that I probably have two different phenos going on here. Gonna read a little and give a some more genetics info on this plant for my own records. *** So I found a little more information on the dominant indica phenotype, but not too many descriptions of an of the recessive phenos. Anyhow! The site below has a lot of good info, and I particularly like the genetic tree figure. https://www.cannabis.info/en/strains/9-pound-hammer D18 - 10.4 - Sorry the slight post-water droop. Don't worry, these suckers are killin da game.

D22 - 10.8 - Got them topped a few days ago and they are recovering nicely. D26 - 10.12 - I'm scared spitless right now. I found what looks to be broad/russet mite contam on some nearby plants. These aren't affected to the same extent but there is definitely spindly growth coming in. :(( I'm treating them along with the others. I've treated with insecticidal soap and neem oil the past two days right before lights out. HELP! Plan: treat with some heavy duty stuff to be procured today. Predatory mites and lady bugs on their way. Will release them as soon as they arrive. I want to use some diatomaceous earth, but I'm afraid that will counter my predatory mites and lady bugs?? Help! Taking any and all advice on getting this shit under control!!

Preventative maintenance is always your best offense against pests like this. Find a good product, like Smite or Mercenary, and foliar spray with it regularly to keep bugs away. I’ve been growing for a few years now and I’ve never had one issue with bugs and I believe it’s because I spray to prevent bugs so they aren’t a problem.

D29 - 10.15 - Well frens, they may not recover from this one. All my plants look about like this right now, with all the new growth shriveled and some discoloration showing up on the fans. Plants that did not seem affected before treatment are now showing this. Let me know what you think. My treatment for 3 days in a row may have been far too harsh? Will they recover... How could they? I'd have to remove all of this bad growth... This is devastating :( D30 - 10.16 - I got my bugs and released them in all my areas, even outside my tents haha. I'm gonna rest my aching soul for a week before documenting and checking back in here. Current Status : no new damage is happening and the plants are still growing. Some of the growth is not damaged, so there seems to be a little hope. Thanks again for all the good vibes and help everyone. @SpinnerGrow @bulbi @ExperimentGreen @Stick @Mrs_Larimar @BeefWellingtons @HighTV @SommerVirelli If things progress further into contamination I will cut my losses, rigorously clean and tart over. I will have lost 6 weeks of grow, but fuck, what's that in the long run when I'm learning and can fix these issues.

10.23 - They have survived. New growth is looking ok. Gonna be some funny shaped plants but I'm happy they are alive. D38 - 10.26 - Still recovering. I figure if they can grow straight tf up from here on out they should do alright. :) Being positive. No matter how much 9lb Hammer I harvest, I'll be stoked to smoke this strain for myself! 👽

D42 - 10.30 - Gonna give them some time to do their things and grow up before throwing them into flower in a week or two. They have recovered really well, have strong stems and I expect will stretch a fair bit. Super thankful for good genetics and soil bringing these through a tough first grow 🙌 Jinxproof. D45 - 11.2 - B+ Frens, just veggin along loving life. Happy plants all around 😊 D47 - 11.4 - The biggest fan leaf award goes to 9lb for sure. Very happy plants today

11.8 - D50/F2 - Things with these two are swell. The massive leaf duo are on 12/12 now and separated into different tents on 11.8. I kept the smaller of the two in the 5x4 with ten other 5 gallon plants. Hoping this doesn’t lead to too much crowding, but have started to set 14” support rings to help with training. The larger one is in the 3x3 with four 3 gallon plants, including two autos that should finish well before the 9lb becomes unmanageable I mulched with Organic Maine Enriched Mulch so hopefully lose less water to evaporation, then dosed with a new product by NLS as an amendment to boost flowering. The ingredient list on this pack is amaze and you can’t even begin to imagine how it smells haha. As I’ve said before, their products “stank so good”. 11.10 - D52/F4 - All defoliated and stretching!

D56/F8 - 11.14 - Doing great! Loving the new Blumat Tropf system I installed for both of my tents. Starting to show sex and the very beginning of preflowers D59/F11 - 11.17 - 👍 covered some vertical distance this week for sure. Back to having big ole leaves! :) D60/F12 - 11.18 - <3

D63/F15 - 11.21 - :) D66/F18 - 11.24 - Defoliated the 3x3 plant today. She's doing really well. It's confirmed that both my 9lbs are females, which is great <3 D67/F19 - 11.25 - Got the second 9lb defoliated. These ladies always feel so empty after defoliation but I know they will bug back up before harvest. They had enormous fan leaves. Much bigger than my hand! D69/F21 - 11.27 - Recovering very well from defoliation. Lovely prebuds <3

D71/F23 - 11.29 - Maybe didn't love the defoliation, but looking ok. No discoloration or anything, just a little slower to start chunking up than its neighbors. <3 D73/F26 - 12.1 - The 3x3 9lb seems to have done better with the defoliation, but after I fed with a bit of molasses, found some fungus gnats flying around. Have traps and diatomaceous earth down, so we should nip this pretty quickly. D74/F27 - 12.2 - A little concerned about this one cola whose top pistils seem curled compared to the other on the plant. Take a look and let me know if this is normal or not. All my mature fungus gnats have been trapped, not seeing anymore buzzing around. I suppose the larva could still do a little damage for now? D76/F29 - 12.4 - Doing fine in the 4x5 tent :)

At start of light today in this tent I noticed this single top bud looking a little shriveled or curled compared to the others. What could cause this? Plant is not showing any other signs, but is getting over a very brief fungus gnat infection.

The larvaes and not the gnats do the damage, they crawling in the soil and eat the roots. you an order rnematodes (predator). but i dont think that is your problem. if organic and supersoil or not your girls look very darkgreen to me (N_toxicity)

D69/D32 - 12.7 - 4x5 - ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ ❄️👽 ------------------ 3x3 - this tent took a little hit with these fungus gnats, but seems to be recovering ok.n Keeping a close eye reduced my light intensity a little. Top dressed the plants with a spoonful of super soil concentrate.

12.28 - F53 - Drove 14 hours from Cincinnati to Boston today to find this lady faded all nice like. Some serious amber trichs around so I'm hoping I didn't catch it too late. Chopped and hanging now! Amazing smell. Stem rubs come off as lemonhead and champagne. I've never smelled anything so lovely. My heart is full. 12.29 - F54 - Second 9lb was underwatered while I was gone, perked back up though and flowers are doing well. Couple weeks lefter on her I imagine
