Bud production is slow and the plant has been getting hit with Nats on the leaves this last week ..she is still stinky and very sticky so I'm hoping for some decent buds for some edibles or oil ...we shall see what she does thanks for stopping by ...cheers

Starting up week 2. So far so good! Looking like strong and healthy little seedlings ! Gonna start with ancient earth nutrients.. .1 per L very mild. Have a feeling these plants are about to have a growth spurt! Happy growing fam!

Stinky, Sweet aroma she will harvested next week. Lovely plant one of my favourite. Nice dense buds pistils are quite dark. I think she will.be ready next week. Nice one. I keep flushing her she is quite wet so just 200ml water goes there a day.

It was a great week for this Sour D pheno. She is really starting to fatten up now and is noticeably different after every dark period in terms of the size of her flowers. She is getting tricky to move to the shower where I normally water so she will likely not move again until she is cut. This makes the watering process more tedious but it is a necessary evil to avoid any unwanted mishaps this late in the game. I already caused her to lean a bit from swaying back and forth carrying her across the room during the last fertigation. The buds still dont have a hugely pronounced smell (like I'd expect from Sour D) or much trichome coverage but I am reassured by the fact that she seems to be a late bloomer and is apparently just starting to take off in terms of flower production. I've only seen a scant number of orange pistils so I think she still has several weeks to go. If she starts to take on that characteristic gassy smell as puts on some frost so I can press her into decent rosin, I'll be more than happy with this run when it's all said and done. This stuff has taken an age to dry! I think it was a little too cool in the tent. ah well. Its currently in jars curing, so havent had chance to try it out and i think im prepared to give it a full 6 weeks of cure. Results wise, little disappointed by the yield, only 4oz but it was a micro grow - I think perhaps although i didnt notice it at the time, the heatwave fortnight i had during flower may have had something to do with the lack of growth - but still the quality of the buds is high, plenty of trichomes and buds are really dense. As its still in cure its still a bit hay-smell as the chlorophyll continues to work its way out but there are lovely undertones of gas and fruit - (cherry?) Will check back in with a smoke report in a few weeks but wanted to get a couple of vids of the buds (yes i dont trim them like the pros, i dont care :p )

Trycs are are showing lots of amber now , will pull her 3 days . Still flushing very thirsty girl right now . Amazing smell now and very frosty , stripped 90% shades out for the last 3 days , lots of finger hash from the leaves and they should make great butter for cookies 🍪 Buds are so fat and heavy 1/2 stems have snapped ☹️. Should be fine .

D71/F23 - 11.29 - Maybe didn't love the defoliation, but looking ok. No discoloration or anything, just a little slower to start chunking up than its neighbors. <3 D73/F26 - 12.1 - The 3x3 9lb seems to have done better with the defoliation, but after I fed with a bit of molasses, found some fungus gnats flying around. Have traps and diatomaceous earth down, so we should nip this pretty quickly. D74/F27 - 12.2 - A little concerned about this one cola whose top pistils seem curled compared to the other on the plant. Take a look and let me know if this is normal or not. All my mature fungus gnats have been trapped, not seeing anymore buzzing around. I suppose the larva could still do a little damage for now? D76/F29 - 12.4 - Doing fine in the 4x5 tent :)

Plants are now growing slowly and start focusing on flowering. Compare last week more pistils are visible and getting bigger and longer. In this week, LST is still on effect and no defoliating at the moment until I flush the plants around week 10. Still same feeding schedule, twice a week with interval of 3-4 days. Temperature and humidity are monitored daily, as well as tucking leaves that are blocking the pistils underneath.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes .
