She's fattening up and smells STRONG. She's also dropped about 50% of her foliage while flowering and looks BEAUTIFUL. Can't wait for harvest to come!

I lied i gave it this side a little more of a pruning of fan leaves and also took a little more of the lowers. These plants really over filled the space and are begging for more ventilation and light.

Flowering and defoliation

Outcome was alright since i had a mite infestation for so long, still happy of what i got out of the plants! will update on dry weight and taste etc. Also that was the first time in grew with “decent” equipment, since i don’t have alot of money to spend i got these quantum boards off alibaba & i’m pretty impressed off what they are able to do!

Hey fellow gardeners, Unfortunately, I couldn't complete this diary earlier because was busy with family stuff and work. So finally here we go with the last chapter of this wonderful grow session. Thanks for Barneys for another masterpiece, we had a truly unforgettable journey with this breed. Its a bit difficult to remember after so long time but we try to collect the most important feelings and thoughts.🌞 So i decided to choose this time a hybrid strain to complement our most sativa collection. The seeds germinated in no time and we were able to put them in the first small pot after only 3 days, after another 3 days except one, they emerged from the soil so the fun could begin. The vegetative phase was actually easy and vigorous, but we made a mistake that made it a little longer than planned. Luckily the broken main stem healed really fast so this extra week wasn't so bad. In this phase we had an experience that we never had before, and yes this was the 13 finger leaf which means that the plants seem doing very well.🌱😎 When we entered the flowering period I was afraid they wouldn't stretch enough as other growers reported. Luckily these ladies got lanky and even didn't want to stop the stretching, which was cause for concern because the time for the last defoliation and lollypop session was almost there. At around day 23 of flowering we made the last trainings and we finally could sit back and watch the magic happen. It was really touching and lovely to see how the colors and aromas change from week to week as autumn approaches. Basically, we could distinguish two phenotypes. One with the purple silk on the leaves and a smaller but rock hard bud structure. The smell of this lady was more pine and sweet at the same time. The other 3 ladies were pretty much the same when it comes to smell and bud structure. Sweet and fruity aromas were characteristic here. Apart from the previous ones, both phenotypes were characterized by cinnamon scent throughout the whole flowering period. It can definitely be said that it is the most frosty variety i have ever grown. I am really satisfied with the outcome in every aspects. First the purple pheno went to darkness with our DWC lady and after two days the other 3. Dried them for 7 days at 21 degrees and 60% humidity and for another 5 days at 50% humidity.⚔️ Trimming these variety was a bit challenging threw the closed bud structure but it wort all the time. We ended up with 368 grams of juicy, rock hard dried buds and 48 grams of larf and popcorn. After placed it into glass jars with Boveda 62% humidity pack. Was a very pleasant strain to grow. All 3 are maturing at different rates. Probably chopping one later this week, another over the weekend and the last sometime next week.

Here we are at the end of week 4. I’ve grown this plant once and took her at 56 days, but I have since switched to an 11-13 flowering photoperiod which does seem to hasten maturity. My garden is 100% personal and this plant is some of my favorite herb. She has a berry smell, but there is also leather. Very nice. Not recommended for daytime. She also yields very well. These flowers will really swell in the last couple of weeks. I was able to get a height measurement on her when I moved her into the flower tent. I take this measurement and compare it to the final height at harvest. This observation will give me a good idea of how much she stretches. I find that the ratio I record is applicable as long as the environment is similar. I do this so I can try to time the transition to flower to maximize vertical growth (and yield) on future grows. Nothing is worse than when you know they are going to grow into the lights and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.

Harvest day! I think it could have been harvested a week earlier, but I preferred to wait. In my opinion, the fertilization plan I used could have been improved; maybe next time, however, the yield was excellent. As soon as the drying phase is complete, I'll post the weight of the dry buds.

Week 3F begins. Raised the light a bit, will see if it makes a difference with the leaves. Bud sites are popping and looking good for their small size. Thanks for stopping by.

#1 still not flowering it’s been almost 3 weeks since the flip to 13/11. #3 is loaded with buds!! #4 is also loaded. #3 and #4 aren’t stretching a ton, and I love that they seem to be putting all of their energy into making buds. I’ve defoliated some to keep the budsites in the light.

03/13/2022 Love the colors on Grape Skunk #1 others are not as purple, again i forgot Biscotti Skunk and lemon og. 03/14/2022 Uploading Biscotti Skunk pic's I'm really loving 3 particular girls this run,all plants are exposed to PW intentionally I need girls that can take PW with no issues and three plants are spotless. The first is the only Biscotti Skunk that was female of 5 cloning for outside run but will do great in basement without PW issues. The second is lemon og spotless, and the third is the grape skunk thats got most color the second tallest of the grape skunks, cloning for testing in New England zone 7 should get at least one if not all 3 to finish before cold sets in.
