Week 10 started, I'm a little bit worried about the leaves which are turning yellow, is this normally because the plants are approaching their final weeks or could be something else? I'm also wondering when to start to flush, any idea? 😁 🌱🍁🍂

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Everything is looking good. Gave these girls a shot of recharge and fish shit. Prepping there new homes and getting ready to transplant.

Starting week 4 and everything is looking good, buds are forming now time for them to fatten up. There is trichrome coverage starting around the budsites and on some fan leaves. The plants are starting to put off that pungent gg4 smell with earthy undertones. I did a pretty aggressive defoliation on day 21 (11/9/18) and cleaned up the lowers with a light lollipopping. The plants stretched more than I wanted so I may have to add 1 more layer of trellis it just depends if they can hold themselves up once they start putting on the weight going to have to wait and see. 🌱 🤓 Spent this week keeping up with hefty defoliation and canopy maintenance. Two separate rounds of defoliation occurred this week, the last round included the removal of any branches that were growing. In the underbrush who had not yet made it to the surface of the canopy. Branches that hang out in the underbrush contribute to poor air flow while simultaneously sucking energy from the plant. I don't want my plant wasting energy on poor producing branches, so they gotta go! I also made sure to try and remove the same branches on all new mains as to keep the plant as symmetrical as possible. ✌️💜🌱

Seems like the 75-85 day lifetime suggestion from fastbuds is on point and not a overstatement, (KEEP IN MIND THEY ARE FEED BY A DRIP SYSTEM FROM SAME WATER TANK / SAME NUTES) - pheno 1 chewed more nitrogen than her siblings since early on, she got a topleafs fade earlier than expected but she is forgiven because she is finishing crazy fast and feels like shes 2 weeks ahead of everyone else bonus point to her she smells strong and full of ice no matter the top fade, pheno 2 is doing avarage smells 100% same as pheno 1 but seems slower (no early fade full of trichomes too) - Pheno 3 🏅words cannot summon her up, she looks purple already and she smells like a elite photoperoid pheno hunt result, honestly id suggest fastbuds to ask me to cut a stem put it in a glass tube with gel and send it to them via mail to study or replicate her genetics if that is possible, i have never seen such absurdly 10/10 auto in my life, her smell is a John Jones punch in the nose, and not just me saying this ive shown it to my friends and they are shocked (keep in mind im a Berliner who is in toch with some of world LOUD hunter legends if yk yk) something was up with this pheno since sporut we dont know what that is but we want more of this one, she also loved the nute dose we gave her with zero problems . Pheno 4 is simmalar in smell with pheno 1 and 2 but her growth seems to be noticably slower she seems to be a bit behind id say 1 week, maybe because shes under the 6inch osculating fan and shes getting a bit less light she has 0 metabolism problems though so thats fine. Dont get me wrong pheno 1 2 and 4 smell strong and amazing too but miles away from pheno 3 and NO pheno 3 isnt a different strain put in the seed bag by mistake if you toch the stem 4 of the phenos have the exact same cherry cola smell pheno 3 is just the CHOSEN ONE.

3 dny po posledním tréninku (53 dní od vyklíčení) jsem změnil světelný cyklus na 12/12. Nastavil jsem SCROG síť do finální výšky a nyní zbývá jen čekat až holky vyrostou 🤩 snad se mi podaří vytvořit rovnoměrný baldachýn. Blumat zavlažování funguje skvěle a rostliny jsou s ním velmi spokojené. V substrátu se mi rozmnožili springtails. Beru to jako dobrou zprávu poukazující na dostatek organického materiálu kterým se živí. Ale i tak budu jejich počty hlídat a redukovat postřikem substrátu pomocí nimbového oleje (1 polévková lžíce na 1 litr vody + 3 kapky mycího prostředku na nádobí) vždy když mi přijdou jejich počty moc vysoké.

There are simply beautiful plants. Starting to see signs of flowering now... especially with the Pineapple Meatball. I have noticed some yellowing of 5-10 lower leaves on the FM and CB, but none on the pineapple meatball. I top dressed everything a week ago and also did another top dressing of crab meal and neem seed meal (about 3/4 cup of each on each plant). Should be plenty of Nitrogen in there if the plants need a bit of a boost. I've also caught just a few adult aphids sniffing around the chem brulee plant. My brussels sprouts are nearby, and I'm battling aphids heavily with them. IPM Sprayed with Canncontrol (basically thyme oil) and top dressed with neem seed meal.

Coming along nicely, I will chop in a few weeks I think. I love fast buds seeds they never let me down! Ever! Mimosa cake has been a fun grow and it’s not as smelly as purple punch

Just a few words from me: i love to grow plants, i dont care if its marijuana or garden plants. I know a bit in what stage the plant needs. So im not this guy that is constant working with meters and science and showing this or that. The plants speaks for themselves. The plant needs her building block and i try my best to deliver this to lovely Marie Jane. So people do what you want to do, i do it my way and i only care about the end result. On this Diary there are some haters, im not going to give their names, but luckily they are the minority. For the rest, i really love this growers diaries, it really brings this community together and also its a big playground for the breeders, now we can see the results real life! With my grow, i have 2 phenotype. One with red in the buds, this one smells more punchy. The phenotype with some red leafs and more green buds have a more sweet smell. Both is packed with trychromes, really good for making bubble hash or Rosin... The buds are super big and dense. Mould resistance is very good! The buds are super sticky and she smells very like candy and red fruits. Im not a wine drinking person, so dont hold me on that one. She is easy to grow and will get big fast, so one week of 18/6 light is good enough for 60/80 cm plants🌿💚🍀 i have 3 gallon (11L) baskets Nutrition: im not a person who precisely mesures the food for the plants. As long the pH is correct, also im reading the plants. I always give les then is asked on the bottles. I also give weeks in advance the nutrition they need in the cycle, because plants need this to start. Smell: plant already have a nice smell, very punchy, forest fruits and sweet wood. Health: nice strong plants, will grow big and flower fast! -----------Red Wine-------- Red Wine was created by crossing Rozay F2 with Jet A. They are 2 very powerful aromatic Cali hybrids. This exclusive new Cali strain is a very strong and fast flowering indica-dominant strain. It has an aromatic, intoxicating and relaxing effect. That is comparable to enjoying a good glass of wine. Red Wine has an average flowering time of about 7-8 weeks when grown indoors. Outdoors it is ready fairly early, usually around the end of September. The yield is very good.
