So I had a little less nutrient last week then i needed. Def a calcium deficiency. I think it's clearing up but this plant has spot all over it. I changed the water, gave it the right amount of nutrients and a little exra hydrated lime for calcium. Hydro is hard. I hoping It's not sick. I hope It doesn't get the other plants sick. Just a few weeks left.

Entering the 11th week marks the 5th week of flowering and she is looking great! I decided to make the most of two small side branches and crossbreed her with a Big Bud for an indica hybird and another branch with Durban Poison for a Sativa Hybird. 4 mainlines are looking great.

Hello This is the end of week 14 and the beginning of week 15 of veg. Plant #6 is looking alot less yellow. It's green on the growing tips and still a bit yellow on the bottom leaves. When I repotted them the last time, I thought I put in enough compost in to keep them green without giving food for a month or so. But Plants #5 and #6 got compost from the top of the bin where there is less worm action... so less food. Since I've been giving full nutrient/food, they have been doing and looking a lot better.. It's still a couple of weeks before I force flowering. So I'll leave them alone for a week and a bit and then do a LST and take clones about 5 days before going into flowering. The plants smell great... Sorta a gelato type of smell that stays on the clothes for hours when working with them. So... Yes... I'll take clones of these great smelling plants and use the essential oil sprays (see weeks 2, 3 and 4) to get rid of any unwanted pests... OK. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. She is starting to work towards the finish line. Buds are stacking nicely and the smell is quite strong when the tent is opened. This strain kinda smells like sweet strawberry candy. Kinda feel like she will be done within 2-3 weeks. Seeing some excess K symthoms after her last feed, so i might stop feeding until harvest.

We started adding some banana peel fertilizer, around half a litre every three days as we discover some changing in the leaves colour. it turns out it is Potassium deficiency.

Hello friends. I've not done anything really to her this week. She asked for nothing really.. maybe the odd bedtime story but otherwise she is just resting and recovering from last week's toppings. She has pushed new growth that has supposed me. I need to cut off the next set of nodes but I think I may wait a few days and do the final topping all in one hit. I can't get her into flowering room for another 6-8 weeks so I have some good time to shape her into a sixteen cola mega beast..(I hope). If I do the copy chop cho later this week ishall update some pics of the torture.. ...update..... Did the final topping for 16. She has some interesting variations in growth rates at each node.. I think all the twisting has an effect on how the next node grows. I think I see a way by twisting the branch through a full rotation between nodes you can affect how the next branch set grows... It's just an observation ATM but I will maybe experiment with another plant to test this. She seems okay after the torture. Wir haben jetzt mal was ganz komisches versucht 🙈🤣 da ich kein Dünger mehr bei meinen growladen bekommen habe und sowas „Standard“ Weise immer „undercover“ kaufe, bin ich mit mineralischem Gedanken dort hin und mit Biologischen wieder raus Plagron Alga Grow und Bloom 🙈 wer weiß was kommt. Naja umgetopft für die Blüte sind die Pflanzen jetzt auch. abwarten wann die vorblühte kommt. Edit: die vorblüte kann beginnen. Vor drei Tagen das Licht auf 12/12 geswitcht.
