DAY 29: Wooohoo, it is that exciting time when we notice more of the little white hairs poking up around the bracts and the tips take on a bursting opening of growth appearance. The main 2 in flower are the Northern lights #1 and Grandaddys mimosa. Both have started to stretch and will benefit from the planned l.s.t to keep them in their best light . Northern lights has taken a very healthy S-bend in her stem as she wanted to go tall from the beginning. Her growth rate has been excellent under the light and I can see her stretching will certainly have me pushing the lights footprint limits. Grandaddys mimosa has also added a nice bit of height at around 12 inches now. A good start for stretching too. She has space and I have been removing the larfy lower growth from rhem all to not waste energy. She is a little more advanced in flower then the northern light but very close. Both of the Gorilla cookies are starting to join the party now and look like they are still in veg and pushing tips up for flowering but no signs of bract hairs yet so they will hopefully match the size of the other 2 soon enough. They are a bushier appearance than the other 2 strains so I will have to make sure they dont get overgrown by their canopies after the stretch periods. The mutant Northern lights has still remained small and hopeful but I wont be holding out too.much hope on her. I contacted Fast buds and used their after sales service to discuss the failed seeds. They were excellent and only needed a few details of purchase and a couple of pics with some info on what happened and they have now replaced the 3 that I lost. Well done for keeping true to your word @fastbuds . THE LIGHT What can I say about this amazing piece of tech. A small unit, solidly made and delivering a punch way better than I honestly expected. I thought it was going to be ok to sprout them and bring them up together then remove most of them to grow with my other lights while I flowered a single plant under it. Seeing how bloody capable it is , has thrown that plan out of the window altogether...... I plan now to grow all 4 main plants to harvest and really push the limits of this sunshine in a shade. For 150w of power , it is having no problems providing plenty of par for all of the girls to max their photosynthesis needs. All of them are in homemade super soil and the lights are their main input from my end so something is keeping them very happy indeed. In a box or cupboard , this light could work wonders on a single plant or couple of trained but I feel this would be hiding a lot of potential and underestimating its abilities. Sweet Bourbon Kush auto is doing great. She had a big growth spurt this last week. She is starting to develop her colas, and start stacking. I did lollipop her some and defoliated some of the bushier parts of the canopy. She is ready for another week of growing. As you can see it's not a tru SCROG as the man-lining plant is taller than the others and there's also height differences among it's colas. In the other hand i'm very happy on how the plants are distributing themselves after i removed the training structures. I removed those structures to prevent more stress to the plants, as they have recieved a hard training and i want to give them a breath and also grow as they like. You can see how many vegetation they have, it almost cover the 85-90% of the tent, in the middle of flowering week 3 i will perform a massive defoliation. This week i can see how the Gorilla with the main-lining is developing more defined and taller colas than the other plants, let's see how they evolve in some weeks. Week 11 Veg - Mentha de Croco Mutants Hello, Grow Diaries fam! 🌱✨ This week’s update is all about setting up for the big transition—we’re finally flipping these beauties into flower! But before we do, I took some important steps to ensure a smooth transition. Defoliation & Why It Matters Before Flower Before the flip, I gave them a thorough defoliation, clearing out lower and overcrowded leaves. Why? Because: More Light Penetration – Helps lower bud sites develop properly. Better Airflow – Reduces humidity buildup and risk of mold. Focused Energy – Encourages the plant to put energy into strong bud production instead of unnecessary foliage. Of course, balance is key—I trimmed enough to open things up but left plenty for healthy growth. Final Pre-Flip Routine • Temps & RH: Holding steady at 22°C with 66% RH, keeping conditions ideal before flower. • 💧 Nutrients: Running the Aptus Holland Clean Feeding Approach with: • Regulator for plant resilience. • RO Water Conditioner to balance pH and improve uptake. • System Clean, even though I’m not using a hydro system, to keep the root zone optimal. • All-in-One Liquid, which is now the primary nutrient source. • 🔄 Watering: Still bottom-watering to keep gnats away and encourage strong root growth. 36-48 Hours of Darkness Before the Flip Before switching the room to 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness, I’ll be giving them a 36-48 hour dark period. This technique helps signal the plants that it’s time to transition, leading to a faster and stronger flower initiation. Hi Growmies, She continues to develop nicely. The rootball continues to expand and nested itself right above the airstone. She is very thirsty, finishing a good 10l over the course of 5 days. I have opened my last atami rockzbastic tester and added a ml per liter. Seems like the buds start stretching around the colas now, so pretty much half time +- a week.

Defoliated. Smelling sweet moss. Fat stems and leaves on this one. Very crunchy too so will need supports and being careful lol. Yes i did give it Silica.

The Purple Ferrari is doing fantastic and has stretched much taller than expected considering shes in a grapes container from Asda..my Coney Island Cotton Candy looks like it may have passed away unfortunatly.

Diese Woche wurden die Pflanzen umgetopft, leider ist eine der 2x Purple Punch kaputt gegangen aufgrund der Genetik, und ganz plötzlich ist auch eine der 3x Runtz umgeknickt, wahrscheinlich durch die zu großen Temperaturschwankungen von Tag/Nacht. Die Banana zweigt leichte weisse Färbung auf den Blättern und die unterren ersten zwei Richtigen Blätter sind leicht verfärbt ( gelblich) . Ausserdem wurde heute zum ersten mal gedüngt mit Rootjuice und Bio Grow.

2 feet high by 20" wide. Watering daily, little less than a liter. PH still coming in close to 7, (+/- 0.3) Never over-water, have kept soil moist since seedling, letting it dry overnight. Always mix 0,50 ml / 1 L
