10/17/24 Short facts: - Continued with LST - Watered: 1 x 1.2L, 1 x 0.3L, 1 x 2L - VPD @ 0.9 — raised by 0.1 - Light @ 50% ~500 to 560 PPFD - Removed 2-3 leaves --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As promised last week, i made a video and explained the progress so far, and did show you the plant. Not much to report. I continued LST, though I’ve stopped for a few days now since the branches are well spread out, and that should be enough for the time being. The Grease Monkey is getting much thirstier, so I had to water her more than the other two plants. This correlates with her growth, which is exploding right now. She was already in preflower, but officially switched to flower on this day, so next week will be her first real week of flowering. I’m curious to see how much she’s going to stretch. Great plant! She’s currently my favorite in the grow tent.

Hello friends hope all is well. Can’t say i can’t complain this tree is doing well. So far am waiting for to stretch some more. The buds are forming well. I’ll be giving her a organic compost low in N and big in P-K. So far my organic grown has been the best way to go. It more fun, and the learning experience is great to use with other gardens and plants.

Starting to ripen up probably another week or two on gorilla glue and strawberry pie the grapefruit is just now packing on bud so I’d say maybe 4-5 weeks left on grapefruit. Little bit of amber showing on the gorilla glue. Mostly clear yet on the strawberry pie. Overall happy with gorilla glue and strawberry pie. Grapefruit not so impressive yet. The smell is quite strong at this point and is getting stronger by the day with the really sweet notes of strawberry and the earthy medicinal smell of the gorilla glue.

lovely OG to grow, touched my plants with oil on my fingers dumb move hey see video. This is 1 of the easiest strains I have ever grown in 0ver 30 years, topped once no lst and thrive at a ph of 6.7 they use everything around 5litres in 4 days the pots are light and dry but not bone dry.

Week 1 of flower, pics and video taken on day 6. Lollipopped everything beneath the scrog 3 days ago. All 4 plants are looking healthy and happy.

I still have to go thru all the photos but wanted to get the video up for all of them first. If your interested in the pics come back at the end of today and they will be up it just takes a while. Noticing more seeds poppin thru, I hope it's from the moonshine cookies pollen cuz the female turned out bomb and the male wasnt too bad either so they might be decent seeds. Started the flush on the citradellic and the other ones might have got their last feed yesterday. Should be finishing up next week and the week after. These are interesting growing plants. I took cuts but the one I like disappeared somehow or got its name tag mixed up I'm not sure but I'm kinda pissed about it. I honestly cant describe the smell it just smells like dank bud. The pistils are so dark but the lowers look like the could fill in a little more so I gave it one more feed yesterday and I think I'll start the flush on all of them when they dry out.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. I starting to see a bit of light bleaching this week. This week I did a bit of defoliation but nothing too crazy, next week I will do the last defoliation. This girl is still going great! She takes whatever you swing at her. The Ayahuasca Purple where not so forgiving... lol overall this girl is on track to finish here in the week or 2 so we are dialling back the nutrients now( more for the Ayahuasca Purple though) and she is already fading out same as the purple. We will probably start looking at cutting her end of next week I would think. Got some more girls ready to take over the rent in the tent so sooner is better then later...lol Cheers 💨

This girl has got some absolutely beautiful leaves. They have a dark tinge to them, that I don't know if it shows through on the pictures, but it is very cool. I think I may have too many buds for the size of my grow space but I can't decide which to trim or if I'm just overthinking things. Ill leave her for now and just tuck away leaves as the bud sites start to develop and then later trim any, if there are any of course, that may not have time or space to grow....... so for now I'll leave her to decide. she looks indica dominant (I've not checked) which suits me, I'm a fan of indica in a growing sense for my space, but means she will be a thirsty girl in my experience, compared to the sativa dominants. You can see in the photos that she has started to take square shape for her canopy space. I was once worried about her leaves touching the £1 emergency blanket I use as light reflection in the grow cupboard but has never been an issue its way too thin to hold anyway near enough heat to ever be an issue so the shaping also come somewhat naturally. shes under a selection of home standard LED bulbs around 10w, random blasts of UVB from a reptile light (I think helps growing with a slight slowing of the auto influence. My own thoughts from previous experiments only.) the other lights remain on 24 hours with a few 5 min breaks in the timer to cool the bulbs down a touch. I of course talk to her/them on a regular basis which has some scientific backing somewhere showing benefit for both of us.

This strain smells like fresh oranges, it’s really high in terps. Yielded 5 oz dry off one plant and 4 oz dry off the other. Very happy with yield and quality. Excellent daytime smoke or in larger doses even works at night. Presses into some delicious rosin! Once again I’m very happy with Barney’s Farm!

This is my best harvest yet.

Day 43, 22.05.2024 - Gave a round of drinks to the ladies - they were thirsty! - installed a De-Humidifier: I've had some trouble to bring down humidity during night time. It was stuck at around 68% and I do not want to give mold a chance - especially in the later flower which is about to come - the buds are getting darker - also found a fan leave which shows a yellow color. I understood that this is quite normal at this stage as the plant begins to suck the Energy of the lower leaves which it does not really need anymore. I guess tomorrow I will remove the leave in question and be done with it. Day 44, 23.05.2024 - Hacked the De-Humidifier to connect it to my already installed VPD Controller: When the humidity rises above a special threshold (depending on the temperature) from now on the Tube Vent, the Intake Fan and the De-Humidifier will lower the humidity. Bye bye never ending Tube Vent running an hello snappy reaction to rising moisture! Day 45, 24.05.2024 - Realized: This 30€ De-Humidifier is useless :). Deinstalled it and will send it back where it came from - although it would be time for a drink the soil is not dry enough yet. So I decided to postpone until this evening or even tomorrow - Decided to give water with nutrients today - right after watering I recognized brown tips on two leaves. According to my research it could be a) nutrient burn b) light burn or c) Zinc deficiency or of course d) nothing at all and to be ignored :). I will wait for 1-2 more days and see how it evolves. "No panic" I guess... Day 46, 25.05.2024 No action today. Day 47, 26.05.2024 - time for another round of drinks! I will cut down the ration to 50% (1.5ml/L BioGrow, 1.5ml /LBioBloom, 0.5ml/L Top Max) though to hopefully counter the slight burn on the tips of some leaves. If it recovers well I will possibly continue giving full bloom fertilizer, but only half grow fertilizer. Each gets 600ml (15% of pot volume) - Removed 2 bigger leaves from the bottom, that we're getting yellow - bought a pocket microscope to start checking on trichomes. I know: a little early in the game, but it is a bit tricky to get a good look so I guess starting early does not hurt Day 48, 27.05.2024 No action today. Day 49, 28.05.2024 - Gave 600ml water each plus a little shortened nutrition: full bloom & top max fertilizer, but only 1/3 of grow. - removed a single leaf that looks weird (all yellow, see picture). It is the only leave of that kind, the others look more or less okay. This concludes week 7. 3-4 weeks more to come.
