Some beautiful colors coming through as we head into week 10! I removed the scrog net because I needed it for my other grow… had to tie a lot of buds up because they are so dense and heavy! I’m only watering from now on until I don’t have much nutrients left in the excess water. You can already see how the plant gets rid of its chlorophyll as the leaves are getting darker and darker.

At the start of week 8 she is still doing amazing and looking very healty and lush green the little nuggets are fatning up nicely and smelling very tasty cant put my finger on it what the smell is but its like a certain brand of bubblegum very sweet Day 51 drinking 33cl a day that’s a lot for such a little thing but she takes it in 3 times feeding her at 6 in the morning 5 in the afternoon and 11 at night like a little baby that needs her bottle in time Some of the outer leaves are colouring a little but hey she is half way her flowercycle so i expected her to start showing Some kind of signs that fall is starting to kick in Day 53 split her stem on top of her flux knob to increasse thc and budproduction to the fullest potential and binded a soft bendie arround it so she does not split further then neccesary🙏🙏 To all contestants the end dates is moved to 31 december due to Some unexpected and unnormal wheather factors with Some of the contestants Some of them have to unfortunatly start over so to give every one a fair chance final date is 31 DECEMBER!!! Or 14weeks as maximum growcycle Everybody gets that?!🙄🤣🤣 Not many people know about this trick, but I’m sharing it with you today. Have you ever heard of splitting the stem of your plant? No? Well, did you know this will force your plants to create heavier and denser buds? And it also increases THC production up to 20%! The purpose of stem splitting is to disturb the flow of nutrients and water right at the base of the stem. This will cause the plant to start producing more trichomes which means heavier and denser buds with higher THC levels. Make sure to read my article How to split the stem to increase THC levels after I tell you how to do this in 3 easy steps. How to split the stem in 3 easy steps: Step 1 Tie the stem with a rope or cable tie right at the base. Tie a second rope or cable tie a couple inches above that. Step 2 Take a very sharp knife and cut from the top tie to the bottom tie. There should be one vertical cut that is a few inches in length. Step 3 The knife should remain inside until you have a pencil or chopsticks to replace it with. This is to keep both sides of the marijuana plant from touching each other. Splitting the stem causes stress on the plant and forces it to create more trichomes. Trichomes serve as protectors of the marijuana plants. Specifically against pests, diseases, low temperatures and wind. Because of this protective feature, more trichomes are produced during times of stress. Veg day 39 week 6. These plants were mainlined to produce 12 to 14 colas ( branches) , completed last round of topping. They are now free to start growing upwards. They have developed really strong thick branching due to pinching the stems, H.S.T. Have done my share of damage to them, getting a little bit rough with some of the branching, splits & breaks in stems. Although they are very hardy plants & don't seem to be affected by it to much & it also helps to strengthen stems & branches to support the weight of BIG DENSE BUDS, & also aids in the increase of nutrients being delivered to your plants because it also increases the size of the Nutrient highway! (The hollow inner middle of the branches gets bigger allowing the uptake of more nutrients and water.

7/1 Chopped these babies down. Now they’ll be hung in the dark (full plant) at about 60/60 until they’re ready to go in jar. Hopefully about ten days, but these are small so idk if they’ll go that long. Will update when we get there Tried to update smoke report but it just keeps erroring out. I’ll try it again another time. :/ Meanwhile, I’ll leave some info here. This hasn’t even cured yet and wow. Wasn’t thrilled with what I could see the yield would be.. still not thrilled, but damn. The shits good. Perfect density, smell, and taste. It’s loud af and definitely potent. It’s pungent with a hint of sweet but not too much. Would absolutely grow again, but would grow more plants since the yields not there .. at least for me. 5.2 ounces - 2 plants. Buds no trim ;(

This week went without any problems. They're on scedule and next week I'll repot them. I'm gonna keep 4 out of 5 because I have only room for 4 plants in 15 liter airpots. On day 12 I removed the seedling that was making the least progress. It gave me the opportunity to check the roots and they looked fine. I'll guess it will be the same with the other seedlings. I've already filled the airpots and placed them in the tent so they can heat up a bit. There's a large heating mat (RootIt 40 x 120 cm/ 15.7 x 47.2 inch) underneath the pots to keep the substrate at 21 – 22 °C (69.8 – 71.6 °F) I've given them 70 ml ph-adjusted tapwater + Plagron nutrients( amounts see above) each once this week. Once a day I spray them with a solution of CannaCure and tapwater (15ml + 150ml tapwater, ph level = 6.1) The cobs are at 68 watt with a distance of 49cm (19.2 inches) from the Pineapple Chunks giving a DLI of 19. Temperatures fluctuated between 21.7 – 24.2 °C (71 – 75.5 °F) and humidity between 51 – 94 % I've turned on the Airfan and the fan-controller is set at 30-35%. After seeing the roots just about fill the totes, I decided to flip to flower. I did some lollipopping towards the end of last week, and removed a lot of larfy little branches. I added some big bud on top of my base nutrients, because Ive had good results with that. Im going to maintain a 10-12" light distance, and increase my light from 80% to 100% power after the stretch is over. You guys, I cant believe how heavily these girls are feeding, ppms were set to 1450ppm last night, 1300 this morning, 950 this afternoon. I added more big bud to up the pk a bit, and get my ppms back where they were. I cant wait for them to really hit stretch, I think theyre going to explode in the next few days!

I haven’t been able to keep up with my diary as much as I would have liked to. Through week 6 a lot of pistils started to make a name for themselves. I defoliated when I watered them but was very worried I would lower my yield since they are autos and photos. The beginning of week 7 is when zkittles started to suck up tons of water! She also started to have her branches stretch up, I don’t know if this is normal or if she’s trying to tell me something. The following days is when the rest of the plants started to suck up a good amount of water fast too. I’ve been watering every other day one day with bloom nutrients the next with just ph’d water.

Day 50: Added one gallon of pH 6.5 water with nutrients. Plant looking healthy. Continuing to try LST but the tent stakes are not wanting to stay in the soil. Going to get some soft plant ties and begin pinning to the smartpot. Forgot to take pictures. Day 51: Maybe approaching flowering? Day 52: Looking good. She's getting real thirsty. Day 53: Pretty Day 54: Added a gallon of water with nutrients, Man she's getting thirsty. Day 55: Posted timelapse but no glamour shots Day 56: Added one gallon of pH 6.5 water without nutrients.

Starting my first grow in the new tent with my first Night Owl seeds. Grabbed these from seedslocker a few months ago and they've been sitting in my seed vault in the fridge since. Popped them in a glass of water at 8pm on 10/18. Broke out the AC Infinity propagation system and added a bit of RO water to some coco pucks. About 24 hours later they sunk in the glass and had opened up a bit with root peaking out, so into the pucks they went on the evening of 10/19. No real movement on 10/20, turned the heat pad off because they were a little warm. Morning of 10/21 the first Compound V was starting to pop through the soil, 2nd one followed a couple hours after and before noon all 3 were making their way out. Opened vents on the dome to let them breathe a bit more. 10/22 continuing to grow really strongly, looking good. 10/23 some roots out the bottom, time to go into the tent. Transplanted and seem happy, dialing in the temp and humidity and airflow, some odd higher temp days still around this time of year with some heavy fluctuations but it will normalize out. The tent has been stood up and cooking a bit w/ the lights blazing and a dehumidifier running to dry out our soil a bit. Had issues with fungus gnats last grow and I'm trying to prevent that this time. Ordered some beneficial nematodes as a line of defense and sprayed soil with a good soak of neem oil as a precaution after drying out. Sticky traps show no gnats so far. Soil is Coast Of Maine Stonington Blend Aeration Formula, a 70 / 30 Coco / Perlite blend that I've used before. I have Coast of Maine dry nutrients and Fox Farm liquid nutrients, will likely try to stick to the dry nutrients unless fungus gnats emerge again. Soil is in 5 gallon fabric pots. I added 2/3 cup of Stonington Blend Plant Food and 1/3 cup of Wiscasset Blend Earthworm Castings to each pot along with some Mycorrhizal Fungi spores and worked it in. I have been using the AC Infinity self watering bases but as I'm running 6 total plants this grow I've ordered the new Vivosun self watering bases to compare them.

Got some sealant to properly seal my DIY CO2 generator and lil maggie seems to like it. Her buds are starting to swell up. For the CO2 generator I did the following: 2 Liter Bottle -> 1 Liter Bottle -> Fan (Fermenting) -> (Water Filter) -> (Distribute) Ingredients: Sugar - 3/4 Cup Yeast - 1 Teaspoon Water - 6 Cups Step 1: Add 6 cups of room temperature water to the 2 liter bottle. Step 2: Add 3/4 cup of sugar to the water and mix until sugar is fully dissolved. Step 3: Add 1 teaspoon of yeast and let sit until bubbles appear in water filter bottle. 
Step 4: Direct the end hose to the plant canopy. CO2 is heavy so it falls, use fan to blow it to the plant canopy.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. 04/28/2020 Week #8 of flowering begins will post more pics latter. 04/29/2020 Did some leaf removal had some powdery mildew on some leaves took infected leaves off, plus some for good measure. Drying out every day or two today she took one liter before run off. You can see in the video the colors? And sparkling buds? 04/30/2020 Day 50 I decided to take the top buds in pics , 47 grams wet. It is a 9-12 week strain but I think she need a week or two? But we will see.
