🌸 White Widow — Week 4 of Flower (12/12–11/13 From Seed) Stage: Week 4 Flower (full flower, no stretch left) Structure: Compact plant, building a tall main cola (~25 cm target) + tidy “golf-ball” side colas Frost: Already impressive; trichomes thickening across tops and sugar leaves Watering: Hand watering (by feel; no runoff chasing) Light routine: Still running the red-on/red-off sunrise/sunset via TrolMaster (15 min before/after) ⸻ Quick Recap (for anyone just joining) • Germination: We lost the first batch (uneven heat mat, my mistake). We restarted and this solo survivor is the one you see now. • Veg under 11/13: She stayed compact and stubbornly vegged a while before showing preflower, great node stacking. • Early flower: Bud set → second flower push → now deep into Week 4 with clear, even sites top to bottom. • Environment: Room was hot early on; AC install stabilized temps and RH. Plants never showed stress, credit to genetics, steady care, and balanced feed. ⸻ 🍽️ Nutrition (this week) We’ve removed Top Booster completely. Current, steady recipe: • Aptus Regulator – supports cell strength, transport efficiency, and stress tolerance • Aptus CalMag Boost – LED + coco/active soil insurance for Ca/Mg/Fe availability • Plagron Power Buds – encourages compact flower set at each node • Plagron Sugar Royal – metabolic push (N-based aminos) to drive energy use + aroma precursors • Plagron Green Sensation – balanced late-flower support (PK + organics/biostims) for density, oil, and finish • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – (still in) gentle full-spectrum base; likely to taper/stop soon as the soil biology carries more of the load Why this mix now? Week 4 is the “early swell” window: calyx initiation shifts into mass formation. We’re keeping Ca/Mg steady for membrane integrity and photosynthesis under strong LED; using Power Buds to keep sites tight, Sugar Royal to feed metabolism and terpenes, Green Sensation to support density/oils, and Regulator to keep the plant efficient under heat/PPFD. All-in-One remains as a safety net while the super soil’s biology fully ramps, then it can step back. ⸻ 🔬 Plant Development (what’s happening physiologically) • Stretch is done. Auxin dominance recedes; energy diverts to calyx swelling and trichome biosynthesis. • Trichomes rising. Expect a marked increase in capitate-stalked heads on bracts and sugar leaves from now through Week 6–7. • Carb sink strength. Flowers become the primary sink; steady water + balanced EC will keep turgor and bulking clean. ⸻ 💡 Light & Rhythm • Sunrise/sunset with reds (TrolMaster): 15 min before and after the white/blue block to smooth transitions and lean into the red/far-red synergy. • Target PPFD/DLI: With shorter photoperiods (11–12 h), aim ~700–800 µmol·m⁻²·s⁻¹ to land a DLI ~28–32 mol·m⁻²·day⁻¹—a sweet spot for mid-flower without forcing heat stress. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment (steady and sensible) • Temps/RH: Now stable since AC: ~28 °C and mid-60s %RH previously reported—great for mid-flower resin and growth when airflow is strong. • VPD: Around 1.3–1.4 kPa is ideal for Week 4 bulk—keeps stomata active, minimizes mold risk, and preserves turgor. • CO₂: Natural room swings are fine at this stage; plant responses are telling us she’s happy. ⸻ 👀 What to Expect Next (Week 5–6) • Calyx stacking & mass gain on the main cola and those side “golf balls.” • Frost explosion: More trichomes and a greasy feel on sugar leaves. • Aroma lift: Expect that classic White Widow earthy-spice to start pushing out. What not to expect • Height—she’s done stretching. • True ripening signals (amber heads, heavy fade) — too early. • Big defoliation needs, she’s compact; keep leaves that drive sugars unless a leaf blocks airflow or a bud site entirely. ⸻ Grower’s Tips (why the choices matter) • No Top Booster now: Keeps K spikes in check; prevents Ca/K antagonism and tip burn while the plant is setting long-term resin factories. • Keep Ca/Mg consistent: Under strong LEDs, Ca deficits appear suddenly in fast-bulking weeks. Stay ahead, not behind. • Watering style: Hand watering gives you feel-level control over moisture fronts and prevents swings—perfect for a compact, single-plant showcase. ⸻ 🙏 Gratitude & Shoutouts 🌱 Zamnesia Seeds — for the living legend, White Widow 💧 Aptus Holland — clean, precise fundamentals (Regulator, CalMag, All-in-One) 🌸 Plagron — Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation driving flower expression 💡 ThinkGrow & Future of Grow (Black Series 600W) — power + uniformity for dense stacking 🧠 TrolMaster — the ecosystem that lets us choreograph sunrise/sunset and keep the room steady …and you, reading and riding along. Hi all I hope you had a wonderful Christmas 👍 So I got curious a few days ago and decided to have a fiddle with one of the buds from the Girl scout cookies plant. I let it dry in a paper bag first and then had a sqizz at it. After I tore it apart I was pleased to find a nice fat healthy seed (see 1st pic) well after that I thought to myself Bloody hell mate there must be a heap more of those fellas in there then, so with that in mind I harvested the whole plant. After that lot was dried I tore into it looking for more seeds (see video) but unfortunately I only ended up with the three viable seeds the others I found were either green or already damaged. Not to worry as atleast I have those three to attempt germination with which is better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick as my old man likes to say. Ive partaken in a few bonghits as I write this of the Girl scout cookies bud that I harvested and I can tell you its some nice shit man 😁 The Gelato Plant will be harvested tomorrow and Im hoping that may have some seed aswell. The whole purpose of this experiment was to cross the Barneys Farm Red Diesel Feminised Pollen I created with a good tasty strain in an attempt in creating seed. So as far as that part goes & even tho I only got the three seeds I feel it was mostly a Success. I will definatey need to refine both my Pollen collecting and Pollinating techniques to achieve better results. Thankyou to all who followed along I enjoyed doing this diary. Now to see if I can get the seeds to Germinate .......................................................................Update 3rd Jan 2020 I have got one to pop and the Diary for it will be called Ginger Nuts

This week had some growth but it has definitely slowed but the smell has gotten more potent. At the end of this week I will be harvesting this beauty. I will post weight and pics when I do. I will be flushing the plant the night before than harvesting the flower.

March 17, Day 76: As written I collected the last three plants. At the moment I got a partial of 224 grams from the first three plants and I think of doubling with the last three. Among the latter is the plant with the largest bud which obviously becomes my favorite. This time I managed to take photographs of the plants before cutting them. With these last three plants I got the most productive plant, the one with the largest bud and the one with the longest bud 😉 For a final report on this strain: The Gorilla by RQS is an excellent strain for anyone who loves a high THC content and I particularly recommend it to growers who pass for the first time from photoiperiods to autoflowering. You will grow very large and very productive plants very similar to photoperiodic ones. This strain branches out a lot and must be defoliated and de-branched. You can grow it well with the SCROG technique, but if like me you have no space problems you can also use the Sea Of Green technique. In conclusion I want to thank all the growers who have followed this my first diary to which I have a happy growth! A big thanks also to GrowDiaries and to the whole team for having created the best social network dedicated to the world of growers 👏💪😉 March 24 Final Report: Hi growers, with this last post I'm going to close my first diary. First I have to say that I am very satisfied with the total harvest, from the last three plants I got 369 grams which added to the 224 of the previous harvest make a total of 593 grams. I started this diary with 8 Gorillas and 2 Cheese. 6 Gorillas completed their cycle in the same time frame, the 2 remaining gorillas showed a photoperiodic genetic predominance, one of them is in an advanced flowering phase while the last one after three months still shows only a few pistils. I'll probably kill her, and move on by putting new seeds in the soil. Unfortunately, where I live is illegal to grow marijuana, otherwise I would have simply moved outdoors, but I can't and must be ruthless. Regarding the two cheeses there is not much left at the end of their cycle and I started to give only water to one of the two plants. Good and happy growth to all! 😜

Excited to see some growth! Had clean paper towels, a dark dvd case, a nail file and tweezers. The file was just to break the outer shell a little so they suck up water faster. I'm curious if it works!

La semana ha ido bien, aunque la humedad sigue siendo bastante alta. Las flores están hinchadas y tienen una buena capa de azúcar en polvo. La próxima semana cambiaré su tanque por uno más bajo para separar los cogollos.

Might get rid of GSC and just make more room for Trainwreck and G13 to spread. Going to do heavy defoliation for the first time tomorrow stripping everything underneath 2nd scrog and in between bud sites. Nervous it's going to really shock the plants but hopefully a handwatered feeding tomorrow helps keep it on track. Week Three of Flower... Baby Jesus, please give me the energy to continue watering twice a day for the next six weeks 🙏 Day 60 Update: Still some trimming to go but finally pulled the cord on GSC. Wish I had a while ago so the other plants could stretch more proper. Placed a riser under the Banana to even out the height. Going to tie down any tall sites and see if I can trigger a nice long cola down the scrog. G13 already has one forming nicely. If it withstands all that trimming with little to no shock, I will be impressed for sure.

ENGLISH: The first week of growth of my little ones has passed, I am very satisfied with the growth rate and progress of the girls, I am experimenting with a led lamp that had 95w stored and I am very satisfied although I have the feeling that my HM lamp 250w provides a little faster growth. the first girl to go out was Tutankhamun. she was in a hurry to bring her leaves to light. then it was followed by Anubis, then Lennon and the last American pie, Kryptonite was also in the newspaper but at the time of passing it to the substrate his rai suffered a break so in this week he managed to get Cookies USA from pyramid seeds to replace his space and today it has already been passed to the substrate waiting for it to come to light, each one receives a 50ml irrigation enriched with rooting, vitamins and enzymes, following the table provided by the HESI manufacturer, I hope they increase their growth rate to a the third week switch to HM 250w to prepare them for flowering. I hope there will be no complications later, that's all for this week, I hope you are well and have a good week!

The 34 street seed Cookies had Lot’s of LST and training this week! The girls did very well overall after being topped, and have recovered very nicely. I also finished up my drying my last harvest, so after a cleanup session, my big tent was ready to go again! This week was pretty easy, just watching the girls and adjusting the ties to keep the side branching going. I like to come in regularly and bend and twist the shoots between my fingers encouraging healthier stems. While I’m in there I’ll adjust the wire ties a bit to keep things even. After 2-3 days with the tie downs on, I’ll take them off and let the plant recover. With the environment dialled in at 79 degrees and 63% RH, it’s giving me a VPD of 1.0-1.1 , great for optimal growth. 💪 I think I am going to split the girls up, 4 (2 of eachin the one tent, 2 in my small tent, both with a Scrog in place. I’ll be transplanting this weekend, It won’t be long before these girls are ready for flower, October is a busy month for me so I may wait until the beginning of November to switch to flower light timing. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

Days 92 - 98 (from sprout) 8/23/24 - 8/29/24 Loompa's Headband x TK fading hard this week - checking trichome color through a 15x loupe, needs more time The Good Shit drinking a gallon of water a day but slowly backed off near end of week - my guess would be a 14-week flowering period for this genotype before harvest quality I'm pretty much watering daily a 1/4 gallon to Blue Nose Pit or less to keep mulch layer from drying out Sweet 16 S1 takes the win for most trichome coverage out of the garden, has the most up-front aroma out of the geno hunt PAR is all over the place on this one and totally messed up, after this week I'll raise the light and focus on the appropriate PAR for canopy of The Good Shit Pest Management slipping too, fungus gnats are repopulating and it seems the ecosystem has encountered a serious imbalance of beneficials and predators that normally kept soil/mulch in-check Plan on short-term remedying this with a top-dress of remaining compost + em bokashi and a moderate drench of EM5 following with repeated treatments of enzymes (tweetmint) Long term solution may need a predator/beneficials kit and/or higher quality vermicompost after knocking them back with enzymes

Another week closer.... I know I said it before but these girls have been a pleasure to grow...they are 23 days into budding and pushing out like crazy blowing up and stacking up..going to be some full girls. Nothing to really say everything is dialed in perfect, this week it was very hot out so my room got a little hotter... but no big deal the girls really didn't mind... Until next week.... smoke a fatty, help out your fellow grower...

As I enter the ninth week of flowering, the progress of my thriving plant is nothing short of spectacular. Growth has been steady and impressive, thanks to the meticulous care provided by Plagron's line of premium nutrients. The buds have further developed in size and density, showing increased resin production, a sight to behold. The dedication to using quality nutrients has really paid off in terms of my plant's health and vigor. The TrollMaster "TENT-X" environmental control system remains an indispensable component of my setup, ensuring that temperature and humidity levels are kept at optimal levels. This precise control contributes greatly to the overall well-being of the plants and lays the foundation for a successful harvest. The 240W MEDIC GROW MINI-SUN 2 LED light continues to provide exceptional lighting conditions, bathing plants in the perfect spectrum for their growing needs. Detailed monitoring of temperature, humidity and VPD data through graphs provided by the control system allows me to fine-tune the growing environment and make informed changes as needed. Sharing a video showing temperature, humidity, and VPD trends during this week highlights how these technologies work synergistically to create an ideal environment for my plants to thrive. The visual representation of environmental data serves as a testament to the effectiveness of these tools in optimizing plant growth. With the solid foundation laid by the Plagron nutrients and the reliable support of the TrollMaster control system, and the fantastic LED lude of the medicgrow, I am confident that the next week will bring even more progress and success in my growing journey. I eagerly anticipate the new developments and challenges that await me in the grow room, knowing that I am well equipped to overcome them. Thank you for joining me on this exciting adventure of growing and exploring plants! 💪👽🚀
