Hello my friends 😇 Purple Lemonade had been flush today !! She looks beautiful that purpul-dark buds are amazing. In next 3 or 4 days I will cut her 😇 Cinderella and Bruce Banner drinking less from a avg. 1.7l/day to 1.25l/day, so end of flowering for this two will be in around 2 weeks. Cinderella looks really good, she should give a good harvest. Update: Day 67 Happy time !! Harvest time !! Finally Purple Lemonade get to the final point. Week 9: Growth, Clones, and Preparing for Buds This week brought some important changes to the grow! The plants stretched significantly, taking advantage of the rainy weather, despite the temperature fluctuations. Overall, the conditions are supporting their development well. Notes: I made a few more clones, and so far, all of them are thriving. It's exciting to see a 100% survival rate for the clones so far. Out of the 12 plants, I identified three males. Two of them have started opening their pollen sacs, and I’ve begun collecting. The pollen is being stored in the freezer for future breeding projects. I did a light defoliation to improve light penetration to the lower branches, which should help promote even growth.

The flush week! Seemed ok - def had nitrogen toxicity in one purple berry kush - maybe too much ripener before. But we’re here - will give them the 24 now and chop. We’re out of time on this run. 90^% of the crop are where I want them to be however I thought I would have more droopy leaves. Will do the harvests on Monday anyways. Have a great week. They grow a lot this week, we applied a nutrient called Delta 9 and it was amazing the way in wich they received it. We are thinking they are having a nitrogen deficiency because of the color of the leafes

Had a bad week 4 as my PH pen decided to go wonky. Once I got it all straitened out plants took a few days to bounce back and took some lower leaf damage but nothing to bad and it will mostly be trimmed off soon anyway. Still waiting to start LST on 3 of these girls until they get a few days of normalcy after the ph shock. Will probably be end of week five we tie the other 3 down and get the screens in place to prep for Scrog.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Plant ready to be harvested in 1,5 - 2 weeks so I stopped feeding it with nutrients. The flowers got bigger and much more sticky. The smell became very strong.

******** Week 10 - Feb 10 to 16/20 (Days 64 - 70 from seed popping out) It’s flush week so not much to update really. This week you anticipate the outcome with great hopes and also think about missed opportunities......no different here 😂 😂 😂 Last feed given last week. First good flush and finishing agent used this week. Gave her Flawless Finish in the morning and 8 hours later flushed her with 8L of RO water. Given she has been very green and tips were burnt a fair bit, I used Flawless Finish to flush the medium. The medium is pretty good with going into the week in mid 300’s ppm. She is taking the end well😀 Her stems are really pulling inward. Really wish I had a wider pot to have been able to pull out further from the centre.....widen her up more. She has started to show her purple colours this week as well. She is fading and looking more beautiful everyday! Will be pushing this girl and don’t anticipate chopping her down before next weekend.....day 75 to 77 idea.......see what the week brings. She has beautiful buds but they need more squishing and I want to ensure she can feed on herself as much as possible. I personally prefer the smoke from a plant flushed for two weeks, so that is the goal......only concern is what will happen to tricombs over the next four days or so???? She squished out bud very well over the weekend and has swelled quite a bit. She is getting fat and happy.......putting on the weight and frost this week girl!! Dropped the night temps to 60 degrees and the humidity to roughly 40% at night. Stripped more of her leaves and down to just bud, haha. Some are still left where I don’t want to remove the leaves for fear of bruising the bud trying to get it off. 😧 Mephisto.....I have seen in a number of the other diaries where the frost seems thick on the fan leaves and this strain is no different! There will be very few leaves that won’t make it into the trim bin from this girl👌😀 For me.....its not that I haven’t seen this frost level but rather, this an auto only 10 weeks from popping her head out of the soil!!!! Even at 8 and 9 weeks it catches your eye as if you see something as growing wrong or an issue.....then you look closer and go DAMN😂!!!!!! Senescence has set in and I have not seen that on many other Mephisto diaries for Skywalker and it is awesome!! Several more days to go for her to show her beauty....exciting😜 If she can keep swelling she will be a great producer!! Keep her cold and keep the density improving and she could be impressive.....for this breeders strain a good yield😀 Lets not put the cart before the horse here though and will focus on tricombs for now. She should have lots in her leaves to keep her going.......lets flush Baby!!!👌 Feb 11/20 - Day 65 - nothing today. - more bud swelling noticed and she is squishing out😀 Feb 12/20 - Day 66 - 2L water with Liquid Weight and Rezin @ 2ml = 79ppm and 5.95pH - Lower bud sites swelling more visible as well. Feb 13/20 - Day 67 - 2L water with Liquid Weight and Rezin @ 2ml = 80ppm and 6.15pH - upper sites are firming up, lowers still have firming up to do yet. Feb 14/20 - Day 68 - Nothing today Feb 15/20 - Day 69 - 3L water with Liquid Weight and Rezin @ 2ml = 100ppm and 6.1pH - Buds are starting to appear more white now. Frost building and turning cloudy. - Leaves are lightening and she is eating the nutrients within her. Feb 16/20 - Day 70 - 3L water with Liquid Weight and Rezin @ 1.5ml = 90ppm and 6.0pH - Purple really starting to come out on her tops now. - lower temps further in the tent to promote bud density and ripening. This girl has such a unique smell, like nothing I've smelled before. I can't wait to smoke her. She is coming along nicely, fattening up and started to ripen. I can see her colours changing. Not long till harvest now! Thanks for stopping by!

11 weeks / 77 days old today. They’ve definitely fattened up more this week. We got to a point where we were 50% amber pistils but then both plants sprouted a load of new ones so hoping for another week of bulking up! We have a few more milky looking trichomes too. I’m hoping they’ll be partially done in the next couple of weeks. Inspected all the buds and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna have to harvest in 2 or 3 steps and give the lower buds a bit more time to ripen up. I don’t know what I’ve done to piss her off so much but purple skunk is now covered in brown spots on quite a lot of leaves. I dosed her up with some calmag and since then I’ve switched to water only. I’ve noticed she’s slowed down drinking isn’t taking as much as sticky orange now. Chopped more yellowing leaves from around the bottom. Hoping this is another sign they’re coming towards the end. My patience got the better of me this week and I chopped a little bud off sticky orange to try. I haven’t smoked for months and even though they’re not there yet it almost sent me straight to sleep. So very excited to try the finished product! See you in week 12!
