We are officially in full bloom. The have been enjoying 6-7 hours of sun light per day for about 4 days now, then brought back in under the cobs. The girls are all exploding with growth and stacking what I expect to be huge buds.

Howdy, So this is now the first day of week 14, which is 99 days from sprout, 53 days from when I flipped the lights to 12/12. Still maintaining nutrients at the same levels, topping up on alternate days with RO water or Nutrients. Checked the trichomes under the scope yesterday, but forgot to save the video. So will post a video in a couple days time when I check them again. So far it’s looking like they’re about 75% clear, 24.5% cloudy and the other half percent are made up of translucent amber trichomes. I think she’s still got another 2 weeks in her, as I’ve read that people make the mistake of cutting early because they go off breeders flowering type from the day they flip lights when you should do it from the day you see pistols, which for me was about 8 days into 12/12. Really struggling to keep humidity down, so have a 10L per day dehumidifier coming this week to aid me in the last couple weeks to make sure all this hard work wasn’t for nothing! I needed one anyway to use once this lady is hung up to dry. I am still having to cut off about 5-10 buds per week that are burning unfortunately. I am also in the process of building a grow room around the tent, if I can get it finished, that will mean I can give these ladies some more space and finally be able to raise the lights. I think the better quality smoke will be just under the canopy as I have a feeling the lights are frying off the THC faster than the plant can produce it. Hopefully it can recover once I raise the lights... Anyway, waffling over. 🌱

Week 11 started I think that the plant is near to the end, maybe a couple of weeks or less. During this week I will start to check trichomes, my objective is to have 50-50 milky and amber. This will be the last week with nutrients. D71: changed the water to the pot, added 30ml bloom, 15ml micro, 10ml pH-. D73: first trichomes check today: 40 crystal, 50 milky, 10 amber. Added four liters of tap water. D74: added 3 liters of tap water with 5ml of pH- D75: added 3 liters of tap water.

I'm very excited about this one. She may be the tree this year. This is a feminised strain. So fingers crossed. Created by crossing Blueberry F3, Blue Moonshine and potent Kush/Thai Indica hybrid which is real rock star in the USA. As a winner of multiple awards Blue OG is well known in the Europe and overseas. Compact size of this strain makes it perfect for any location. Despite its short height its yields are extremely big. Its flower heads are covered in large quantities of resin and this makes it one of the best varieties G13 Labs have for producing hash and extracts as the amount obtained is plentiful and the aroma and taste are sublime. Blue OG is a quintessence of perfect blend which gives the results in oil extracts, hashish and beautiful smell of forest fruits with hints of lime.

D71 - SEP 22: Looking and smelling great. Haven´t seen much growth since the last 5 days or so, but it fattend up really well and it´s really dense, insanely dense. Thricomes developing, soon to be harvested :) D72: Now it´s time to mature, I don´t see any significant growth, only thricomes developing. No watering, it still has a lot. Humidity is really high these last 2 days, being around 50 - 70% rH. D73: No watering yet. No signs of any more thrips, thankfully. Seems to have fattened a little. D74: Maturing well, thricomes getting mostly cloudy and amber. No watering, tomorrow probably. D75-D77: Been a little off of GD for these past days. The tent is looking good in general, no thrips anymore, temps and rH are good. Watered with nutrients on day 76. Thricomes are really close to harvest and I´m really impacient but I´m trying to wait for it to get more amber 😄

Getting solid and developing a lot of orange pistils and the tricomes are lookings super frosty. About 2 weeks left then out to the moon we go!!! Hope its a good grade (quality high), I decided to make Velevet because the flowers looked beautiful to not try out. This will be the last feed then flushed for the next feed. Going to drench it until it reaches a desirable ppm level in the soil. That would make it start eating itself sucking out all the nutrients providing a smooth smoke and a great after taste. When you dont flush you get a better taste and why would you want to smoke nutrients? Gotta make the leave turn yellow then you know its good. This is almost the end and thankfully its been going good so far, see you soon!!!

Update February 4, 2019 (Video and Pics actually taken Feb 1). I’m figuring I’m about mid-way into flower now with the 6 girls I have flowering. Overall, I’m very happy with how things are going. The buds are coming in strong on all plants, they are stinky and sticky and I’m not complaining about anything really. But, I still see more yellow than I like. Last week I fed Recharge, Mammoth P, MegaCrop, and CalMag+. I don’t feed all of those at once, Recharge & Mammoth P one time, MegaCrop & CalMag+ the next, then the 3rd is usually straight water. I also seem to be able to go at least a day between waterings/feedings. Anyway, yellowing leaves during flower seems to be most common with a Nitrogen deficiency as far as I can tell. I’m tempted to feed in a round or two of veg nutes to see how that goes. One more thing… I transplanted my clones and seedlings into larger nursery pots today. They were transplanted into pots with soil that has been composting/recharging for almost a month now based on some of the tips from the books I have been reading. I’m excited to see how they react to their new environment.

9/28/22 Feedings have tuned to full strength, and amazing uptake! These babies will be vegged 8-10 weeks for cloning, as well as the stud being grown out and collecting the pollen to carry on this tester to an F2 genetic. NPK Industries has done amazing things with these plants, and they will be repotted into 7 gallons later this week. Depending on structure, these plants will recieve a late topping to avoid pushing too close to lights in the flowering period. All went without a hitch, and #6 out of the tested phenos has had the largest root mass, overall structure, and best production. I'll have updated pictures soon! All soils were amended with Roots Organic Uprising Grow + Bloom (1 tbs each), and inoculated with Roots Organic Bioforce, OregonismXL, and NPK Industries Grow Microbe (1/2 tsp each). After transplant they were watered with NPK Industries B-Vitamins (1/8 tsp), FishSh!t (5 mL), and Fulvic Acid (5 mL).

D76 - 14 DECEMBER Well, unfortunately once again I had mold problems. Had to chop her early so I´ll trim and hang her to dry today. D90 - 28 DECEMBER Exactly 2 weeks later and the buds are all nice and dry, everything put to cure now with Boveda 58% humidity control packs. The medium-tiny and very tiny buds weighed at 15.1 grams and the medium to big sized nugs weighed at 33.2 totalizing at 48.3 grams. I´m happy with the result, I thought it would be worse. Let´s see how she goes into curing now! 29 JANUARY Finally, after a proper 30 days cure I´ll be doing the strain review. Thank you so much for taking some time to check my diary out. Que pasa familia, hoy actualizo la ... no se que semana será de floración pero ahí están, engordando, no veas que céntrales que tuesta tirando, son cohetes. El ph, lo estamos controlando en 6,2 La humedad está en 35% y la temperatura oscila los 29 grados encendido y 22 apagado. Os confirmo a que este y los últimos 2 diarios activos serán con advanced nutrients. Y a partir de ahora los próximos proyectos aportaremos la alimentación de la casa agrobeta. Y nos centraremos más en una buena tabla de alimentación para las futuras niñas ( en mi instragram @eldruida_lamota ) tenéis un post con todos los productos a utilizar en todo el proceso de crecimiento y floración. Volviendo a las crazy cookies, estamos en su recta final, osciló que como mucho 2 semanas más pero ya veremos cómo avanzan, llevan sin alimento unas semanas también y empieza a notarse en la falta de alimento. Pero ya solo agua, estrés hídrico cada riego menos cantidad de agua , las raíces abajo mueren , termina chupando el alimento por la parte superior de las raíces y ese estrés genera que la planta siga escupiendo tricomas. Esto es todo por ahora , la próxima semana actualizamos todo fumetillas.

As week 8 started, buds are gaining size. Plant is drinking lots of water. About. 3/4 a gallon a day to day 1/2. Added a second light to setup now. Hoping to help the flowering buds with extra light. Relocated my fan to help circulate air flow around more of the taper colas. Should have a around 3 week a left til harvest. Can’t wait to see how this first grow turns out and what to learn from it overall at the end.

This weeks video is not to trick anyone or deceive anyone. These plants are tough and if you start them young at higher EC values they will adapt. Never feed them to the point of harm…if you start to see burnt tips on the leaves then back off the EC. I hope all my videos helped someone along this journey. WEEK 7 TIME TO FLUSH FOR 2 WEEKS NUTRIENTS USED THIS WEEK PH’D WATER 5.8 It’s the end of week 7 and all is well. I will defoliate slowly over the next 2 weeks. All the major fan leaves will come off and any sugar leaves will be left in tact. Temps will be lowered, especially nighttime temperatures. Shooting for 66 degrees and 40% humidity at night. Daytime VPD will stay consistent at 1.4. CO2 will stop sometime this week. Really I am just looking to harden the colas not grow them any further. This weeks video is about EC “stacking”. I think it’s a good one and blows some people’s misconceptions about EC build up in the substrate. Just like you can train your plants with trellis netting, so can you train them with high EC. YOUR ENVIRONMENT MUST BE RIGHT BEFORE TRYING THIS. High CO2 levels and warm temps are a must for this to work and maintain rapid growth. Good luck guys and see you next week!

Let’s Go!! Today is day 31 from seed an these lil baby girls are shooting pistols an showing female productions!! Over the past couple weeks these girls been feasting up an building nice thick structures,building themselves up to get ready for pre flower pretty soon !! Everything is going just how we want it, everything is working properly, our air temp an humidity is stayin on point around 70-75 degrees trough the day and a humidity of 55 - 62% ! Always great! Day 43 - We are all set for flower, garden is happy, vibrant and healthy. She will be flipped after this to 12 -12. Not much to report as all I've done is LST/bending and defoliation. So not a lot of stress on the girls. Hopefully this encourages stress free plants that will give me some big fruits.
