Plants are looking very healthy. I have stopped adding Recharge and MykosWP. I have them only on water now so they can effectively eat the High Tide from Commonwealth Canna. Lights are at 90% and 20 inches above the canopy. I will be using plant stakes to hold the buds up. Should see flowers see some flower forming sooner than later. Happy and Healthy…

Hey yall! Another week down. A lot has happened. To start, we up-potted from the red solos into my living soil blend that I have been working on for almost a year. It's so full on living creatures and beneficials. I used to have fungus gnats a lot when working with living soil, it's almost impossible to avoid. .. Then enters beneficials; we have black soldier Flys, persimillis predatory mites, definitely earth worms, most likely a mix of night crawlers. No more fungus gnats, I highly recommend using beneficial nematodes, cucumeris and persimillis predatory mites are excellent (swirski predatory mites are expensive). Just look at the Soil Food Web and identify what pest you have, then purchase their predators from a trusted insectary. Anyways I added another 200watt LED and spread out the plants in a 2' X 4' tent. It's extremely dry in my location and having the heat on makes the air even drier. So getting my VPD stable has been an immense challenge. Right now Also we need to be able to add VPD or at least GD needs a built in calculator to help folks with VPD, Vapor Pressure Deficite. As of right now I am sitting at 0.85 VPD, so pretty good for today. I have 4 humidifiers and have had to hang moistened towels on the doors of the room I am growing in. It literally has been a huge challenge to keep the humidity high enough for my VPD to be in range for the young plants I have now. Good thing is my current humidity without running any humidifiers is perfect for the flowering stage, so I can't wait to move this along. As for topping and training; like I said I really want to move these ladies into flowering sooner than later. I have several reasons to do limited training so I can limit my veg time, also getting this crop done as fast as possible is best for my set up. Until I can get a larger house 🏠 😩 because we got a baby on the way 👶 so need to make space. I have made compost tea twice this past week, wetting the soil and also spraying the leaves. My sprayer broke so I ended up pouring the tea on the plants gently, I got worm castings on the leaves lol. Gently rubbing that off once they dried. Also I applied the tea at night. My tea recipe: Reverse Osmosis water, 2 to 4 gallons I bubble that with added minerals for a day Add 2-3 cups of Activated worm castings (To activate the castings I added about 3 gallons of high quality castings with what I consider to be nutrient amendments, SO I add = kelp meal, neem cake, organic coconut flour, organic corn meal, organic wheat flour, and organic cold milled flax seeds and let that sit for a week then add about 2 to 3 cups of that mix to the tea) I also add biology from about a cup of 2 different soil mixes I have around my compost bin, just trying to get a more diverse biology by adding those two different soil sources. And mind you the grow beds I took the soil from has been organic for many years and has a large amount of beneficials and tons of excellent biology. Other than that I bubble that for 12 to 24 hours, with as much air as I can get. I use air stones but you really need to clean them off once you are done brewing. I also have an Air Lift with a large air pump that really works great, K.I.S. Organics sells one that works great or you can build one easily with with PVC pipe and a few adapters from any Home Depot or Lowes. Also I do add DynoMyco to my roots when up-potting. They are an amazing brand that has backed up research, I think they have more propagules per gram of two strains they identified to work great with cannabis. Now having said that, each individual phenotype out of each individual and specific strain/cultivar is going to have different bacteria/fungal strains that it prefers and by growing the same strain, hopefully the same exact cut, and grow 3 to 4 cycles before you truly have the mycelium networks built and fully functional. What I am saying is stop throwing out "used" soil and go over 7 gallons, bigger the better for biodiversity. Stop buying "new" soil, amend your previous beds and pots. You will see a huge difference. This week it looks like shes starting to explode! besides the fact that I had to pull some colas to the sides to have a better air flow nad reduce her height everything is running pretty smooth! I think this was the week where she started to fully concentrate in flower

Hello fellow growers, As expected, the real work in the garden began this week. It started with transplanting the girls into the 25 liter bed. This will be there final residence. Apperently they didnt feel comfortable in the smaller pot. For this we used Plagron light mix with perlite that we sprinkled with a lot of Mycotrex. Mixed into the soil and put 5 grams to the planting whole as well.🍄 I didn't want to cause them any more stress even though I wanted to stop the upward growth as soon as possible. So waited 2 days after transplantation before we started with the trainings. On day 26 topped the girls and began with LST. Vertical growth really had to be stopped because they grew huge in 2 weeks. Obviously our task now will be to teach them to invest their energies in the growth on the side branches.👨‍🌾🏻🌱 Watered twice this week with the above mentioned nutrients.💦 Changed the light for the Ts3000 which is on 45% intensity at the moment. This means 600 PPFD at the top of the plants. Will keep this in the whole veg period. Since I have the PAR meter, my work is much easier when it comes to set the light to the desired height. It's worth investing in a cheaper model imo. Did not really defoliated, just took off a few big fan leaves. I just got from these CO2 tablets which you can add to the water but I don’t really know if it will work or will the plants benefit from it? Hope everyone has a great weekend. Bud structure nothing like I’ve ever seen before, looking healthy And frosty though. Looks close to being ready too, will be checking the trichomes. It’s showing a super high caylax to leaf ratio. Phenotype? Not sure. Next to no nutrients during this grow.

This week went well I am continuing to harvest buds as they become ready. The leaves are yellowing more and more letting me know that she is almost complete. I think the lower bids have about one more week until they are ready and that will complete the harvest for Big Girl. Little girl is now declining, she has not branches out or grown new tops.

Wow what a strain! The flowers are absolutely caked with trichs, making the flowers look heavily frosted. The smell is pungent and pretty dank smelling. The taste I find to be pretty mild. Where this strain stands out is the very powerful punch it packs! WOW lol this one will have you staring at a blank tv screen for 30 minutes before you remember what you were doing lol no complaints on this strain, have it growing again this run too! 8/25 put in closet for 48 hrs of darkness before harvest 8/28 actually did almost 3 days of darkness but started trimming and chopping. Getting ready to hang. Day 1. 8/29: 72°F and 50% humidity. Still wet. Even the small buds Day 2. 8/30: 70°F and 47% humidity Day 3. 8/31: 70°F and 52% humidity. Looking more dry than id prefer after 3 days of drying. But the conditions arent exactly ideal. Day 4. 9/1: 70°F and 49% humidity. Humidity dropped which sucks! Day 5. 9/2: 75°F and 37 humidity. Temperatures rose and humidity dropped a lot. Buds are super crispy. Im gonna let them go another day. Day 6. 9/3: time to jar the buds for curing. Dry weight is 43 grams

The living soil I’m using is a bit strong, so I made a cup size hole and filled with just soil and worm castings to plant the seed

Waited 5 days for soil dry and cannazym to arrive. Watered ¾qt today. Will monitor soil moisture levels a little closer. Also going to recalibrate both of my ph meters. More pictures to come, waiting on the lights to kick on. Suggestions appreciated! Happy growing!

This week the GMO cookies is just blew up. Started the week with a transplant to 1gallon pots. An the took to it very well to it. both ended w2 at 6in & 7in tall. Hand watering 300ml daily to these girls at lights on.SF light set to 35% @ start of this week. With a 60-65% humidity level.

Oct 12: super warm still so the season is still going. In previous years we’ve had a -10 C sort of hard frost by now. Anyway, Bruce here is taking advantage of the warm weather. Sunlight is weak so not producing as many trichomes as she could under stronger light, but she is still putting on weight and the buds are decently firm. Most fan leaves turned purple at which point they’re no good for photosynthesis so I figured it’s better to remove them here in the home stretch. Might harvest in a few days, or might not… Oct 13: first round of 940 g wet buds, mostly as fresh frozen, with 80 g of that hanging. Buds are less dense than the Gorilla Cookies so despite Bruce being the bigger plant, it looks like the final yields will be similar. Left biggest cola on plant to see how much further it can ripen. Oct 14: watered with 26 C water with some potassium sulphate. My TDS meter has been broken all season so was estimating. Oct 15: nice weather continues. Oct 16: +4.2 C temperature anomaly over last 30 days, and this is “extremely hot”. Yay. Oct 18: sun is so low now that I lose direct sun by late afternoon. Weather turns soon and there are just four more days to go. Bruce will be harvested this weekend.
