Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! Dutch Passions Shaman Ziemlich spontan habe ich mich entschieden Shamanin No. 1 in einen größeren Topf zu setzen. Der Ballen war bereits gut durchwurzelt. Shamanin No. 2 wird in den nächsten Wochen leiden. Ich komme regelmäßig nur einmal pro Woche zum gießen. Der Kompost hält die Feuchtigkeit aber sehr lange und so hoffe ich, dass sie die nächsten Wochen bis zur Ernte gut übersteht. Beide Damen haben eine dicke Mulchschicht aus Beinwell, Brennessel, Eibisch, Minze, Nachtkerze bekommen, Shamanin No. 2 zusätzlich oben auf ein bisschen frischen Kompost. Beide Pflanzen wachsen gesund und kräftig.

Week 8 flower, watering until the end. No more top dressing or fish shit. Just the same de chlorinated tap water, not ph’d or filtered that I’ve been using since the beginning. Comes out the tap with a ph of 7 and less than 15ppm tds. The soil takes care of everything.

Bubble og I still have 4 of these guys going. A few of them are still dark green and pretty decent growers they have thiner leaves. I'm sure a few of these will be on the chopping block later down a few of them just have crappy start growth and they need the humidity at 75% or above 100% the time with the light lower than normal or they start to shrivel up. That's not all of them just a couple. Also I am only going to flower 8 plants out if the 12 seedling and I have 5 strains going so can't have half my plants bubble og (wish I had room to grow the full 12 plants at a time) It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

These plants are short and wide cracking on this plant is amazing it has flattened out so yeah I think I’m get me a super pretty bright green frosty plant fingers crossed . Amazing simply to say but yes this plant is an easy one grows fast in veg but it like super soft soil I know next time lol always praying though . Class a plus genetics seriously

Something was causing my predator mites to eat my leaves. I added lady bugs and nematodes which solved the issue.

Hey now, so this week went very well, I started feeding her ripening nutes today....So I am going with silica, cal mag, maxi bloom, and then dry bloom, ph, then a little hydrogen peroxide. Esta semana la planta ha aumentado mucho el consumo de agua, han sido días calurosos que ayudan a aumentar el metabolismo de los cultivos, principalmente en esta etapa de crecimiento. Además, dos riegos profundos con Bio estimulantes con una concentración EC de 1.25, de momento, espero a una definición mayor de las flores para aumentar la cantidad y tipo de nutrientes. Je lui donne 1ml/l de bioroots et j'ai augmenté la dose du biogrow à 1ml/l. Elle commence à avoir de bonne racines c'est cool. Voilà c'est tout pour l'instant.
