This week I switched over to 12/12 light cycle to begin flower stage. Cycled through a sequence of blue, red, and purple light to develop taller (red) and fuller (blue) foliage, using both (purple) at times as long as I could keep the temp under 79F. Man! once I switched over, they began taking off! Some of the more dominate branches began taking over and blocking the smaller ones in record time. I had to add a couple filler lamps (1 LED & 1 CFL, both white) to even things out a bit. NOTE: reverting back to actual Plant-to-Lamp distance (vs Screen/Net-to-Lamp).

I just harvested lilly x White Widow. She looks very frosty. I can't smell right now due to a head cold. She did have a very earthy flowery smell last time I could. I will be back fir the smoke report once I get her dried, and cured in the cannatrol. Then of course the final trimming. End of the last of veg. And still no major change in growth or maturity. They’re just stalled it seems. Side branching is terrible, internodal spacing is massive and they seem primed to stretch another 5’ with limited colas. Flipped to flower as of today because I’m simply not waiting any longer just for more stretch. Is what it is and we’ll see what they do in flower. ***grow notes: minimal change from prior weeks. Still no deficiencies.

This week has been stressful for me. I discovered 3 types of bug invaders.. I had some fungus gnats some spider mites and also some thrips... Bastards! I have deployed predators to deal with the canopy in the form of Amblyseius cucumeris and Amblyseius swirskii. I also deployed a platoon of lacewing larvae. For the fungus gnats I used nematodes watered into the root system. I now need to keep an eye for any further signs. I lost a lot of leaf to the pests I hope I did not take to much but anything I chopped was eaten and dead already. She needed a trim anyway and I did discover a load of bud sites that were covered up. I plan to strip the flower room out after this grow and do a deep clean and reseal everything. This will also be the last grow using biobizz range as I do. I was told before that I don't need to use all their product line and I feel I know what I like and need now. She is looking beautiful and her Smell is so intensive you cannot unsmell it. Its Loud! Has Some Sweet doughy, Stanky, Cheesy and Garlic notes to it. I cant wait for the smoke. Has Some Fruity (Plum or Tangie like), Soapy and Floral Notes to it. I cant wait for the smoke.

Every beginning has an end ... The Jumanji by Cellmax is almost over , last few plants left are finishing the fade. This will be the last week before putting the plants on Harvest. LST went good the plant is growing ervery day for 1-2 cm I am very happy with the products used.Until now i didnt run in any issue :) Starting to give a little more Water.

Still a bit early for one and late for one. Took all 4 together..

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Zamnesia Mango Kush continues to smell and is very sticky. It is tall and with packed buds It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. So the second seed of Ze Chem Bang is struggling. It has been growing slowly. It's my last seed so hopefully it roots the solution soon. It will have a much better chance of survival once it does. It can go either way at this point. The rock wool has gotten already growth from being wet for too long. So 🤞🏻 it goes well. On week 3....I noticed that the 3rd week the soil dries out quickly, so this week controls water the plants only 2 times with nutrients but add water volume increase to 1.5 L. , Switch the light to 18hours per day. {Activities) (Day 15) First day I don't water the plants. (Day 16) And second day I still don't water the plants because the soil is wet. (Day 17) Today use the nutrients, There're (Cal-mag 0.5ml. , Fish-mix 2ml. , Bio-heaven and Acti-vera each 3ml. per 2L. water. I think should add more fan for my grow tent so today I'm buying new one. (Day 18) Mixed Fish-Mix & Acti-Vera each 1ml./L. for foliar fertilizers (Day 19) Today switch the light to 75% and Lamp To Plant Distance 24-26inches . (Day 20) The soil has dries up. Hello there and welcome to week 12, or the beginning of it anyway. Week 11 is now complete so please check that out! We start the week with 5l fertigation and some nice photos. Now that Bertha is gone the tent smells Karenish. See you tomorrow! Day 78: Added several more carnivorous plants to the budding collection. Enjoy! Day 79: Fertigated 5l. She's starting to mature now. Frost developing slower, buds fattening and ripening faster. Were maybe two weeks away here. Night 80: Added tent photo and vid. Day 81 update later today. Day 81: Added a lot of media. Got a cheap digital microscope to try and get better micro shots. As you can see Karen is nowhere near yet. Day 82: Things are moving very fast, just look at the difference today. I am certain were with 2 weeks of harvest. Does anyone have advice on flushing/not watering. Fertigated 5l. Day 83: At the current rate of maturation I think the end of next week maybe be harvest time. Height 51cm Day 84: Karens smell is really strong now it washes across your face when you open the tent. End of week summary: A full week of nothing but bud swelling and maturation. I still think she needs another 2 weeks. Unfortunately my living situation has rather abruptly changed and now I have a tough choice to make: harvest/destroy or move plants. There is a strong chance I will chop Karen at the end of next week if she is ready or not.
