Honey Cream is almost ready (Aiming for 15% amber trichomes), another week or two and the first tops will come out. The smell is very pleasant, a bubble gum, sweet and almost ripe berry smells, very intoxicant ! Power flower is stacking nicely, but still with no smell, very frosty too. Special queen #1 is also doing amazingly, specially being in a pot, 2.25m and stacking EVERYWHERE ! The smell reminds me of an amnesia haze, very pungent on the nose ! Old Lemongrass is doing a little bit worse, her leaves yellowed a lot, but hopefully it will get fixed by next week. Trichome production is considerably slower than all the other strains, but she is stacking for sure. Smells of a very pleasant sweet lemon.

I skipped the last week because I didn't take any pictures. But this week there's some more pictures. The buds are developing beautiful. They're growing a lot and starting to get some beautiful colours. They're starting to smell amazing as well.

🌿 Lava Cake – Week 5 (First Week Flower) | Pre-Bloom & Heat Talk 🌿 The Lava Cakes have officially stepped into their flowering tent… though, to be fair, they’re still enjoying a little extra veg time before showing pistils. Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. D57 F13 - The week is off to a good start. This lady continues to bush out AND stretch at the same time! I started doing some minimal HST - just to try to keep her going as much "out" as possible, as opposed to "up." D59 F15 - Feeding every other day was just not cutting it anymore, therefore, I started feeding daily this week. There are two other plants in the tent besides this Zkittles, one Sour Diesel and one 707 Headband. So, I'm currently mixing up 12 gal. of nutes in a batch, feeding 6 gal every day - 2 gal/day per plant. Check out the ladies getting fed in the video I included above ;-) Also, I took several pics today; some of those pretty buds getting of to a good start.

REVIEW - Runtz (fem., photo.) from Zamnesia: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ The seeds from Zamnesia germinated rapidly, rooted strongly, went wild in veg, and produced an ample amount of high-quality medicinal flower. The diary speaks for itself on that front so this space will be more of a phenotype review. The plants were labelled A, B, and C from left to right respectively in photos. A and B were the 'clasicaly-appearing' sativa-esque leaves while C was the more 'indica-appearing' phenotype. Although A and B appear the same qualitatively, they did produce substantially different amounts of flower (despite their DLI being near max out for the entire tent footprint without supplementing CO2, so I do not think just being in the middle attributed to this). Past their different yields, A and B also have vastly different profiles. A is a classic gelato/ice cream cooler/Z terps, and my personal favorite of the plants (wish I had taken a clone of this one instead). B is the most on point for what I think of with Runtz, classic Z terps but with a slight tropical/rotten/sweetness to it. C had the misfortune of being ready to chop a little earlier than the other girls so her profile is mostly just spicey kush now. I did observe intersex flower sites but given the entire context of the diary and how the plants performed, I have to assume it was user error. No pollination observed in any of the flowers, as zero additional intersex sites occurred. The distinction between A, B and C is what I would expect from a typical F1 cannabis seed. I do not enjoy growing from seed much but these girls were manageable. Add to that the relative stability of the genetics for a Runtz recreation, and well, these are good quality beans for a great price. Not only is Zamnesia responsive and available, their confidence speaks volumes. How many vendors would have an in-house Runtz, knowing how much of a genetic-gravity-well it is in, and be confident enough to let ~200 randos grow it and show it? REVIEW - Green Sensation from Plagron: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ I enjoyed using the green sensation, the NPK values on it make it versatile in application and a power-house in flower. I can't say I noticed anything better or dramatically improved, although comparing to Heavy 16 and asking for a marked improvement is big ask in my opinion. What I was able to do was seamlessly integrate the Green Sensation into my current routine. The additive stayed homogenous, was easily introduced into solutions with no adverse impact to the water contents or pH. Most importantly, the plants enjoyed the additive and it did accomplish the main goal of being able to wane off your primary line. In this respect, by using Green Sensation I was able to save resources by lowering my Heavy 16 inputs across the board approximately 50% and supplementing with Plagron's Green Sensation.

Day 85. One day they look so nice, other too thin ;)))) Found out that my center led lost almost 50% of light output, will check after this grow. On other hand all is bright , SuperStacked Zkittalicious is making my heart sing and it should be lovely small run .... Day 88. Girls got water and BioBizz FishMix, very light, just 280 ppm. All looks very good, see some waxy leaf beginning, so next feed is BioSys and Great white with BioBizz WormHumus rubbed into top soil and at least two pure water goes after it. Monster Zkittalicious looks insanely good, like 20 stacked colas in max 1.5 feet square ... Very lovely plant. Happy Growing !

Fust Buds Originals Amnesia Haze 5th week of flowering completed 18th Jan 2020 Welcome back to my diary of the FBT02 plant aka amnesia haze. This is plant is developing a little slower than the others , but I put that down to the haze genetics and she will probably need a bit longer to mature than the others. Absolutely no worries there from me as I don't wanna rush her. Thanks for checking out my latest update for this week 🙏

I start by saying that the genetics of this fantastic and super plant, the only exemplary because I was given after ordering, the first time I cultivated this variety .. I never had any problem from germination at the end of harvest, made grow for 6 weeks approximately with light hours 18/6, then kept in bloom for 10 weeks ...... and from about 10 days to dry with temperatures between 19/20 degrees, and humidity rate to 50% between today and tomorrow I'll make a nice manicure.

The plant is doing fine, the light has been a bit to close to some buds so light bleaching appeared (Light is raised) Getting close to harvest and the plant smells really sour and citrussy, its amazing.
