This beautiful lady is stacking so nicely. She has a main cola about 10’inches long! All the satellite buds are coming in nice too, lots of light penetration. She's looking very nice on this week, developing a lot of new bud sides so let's see if I can achieve an ideal shape before I flip them into flowering stage. Remember to do that you need to give the plants 12hs or less of light. She's 100% organic grown with Florians living organics.

Buenas amig@s, pues una semana más y pues contento con el crecimiento la verdad, no he tenido problemas con los insectos 🐜 tras pulverizar el insecticida natural que ya os comenté. Tras cambiar la tierra que tenia en un principio por la proporción turba-perlita 50/50 he notado que el crecimiento es mas rápido y el agua se retiene mucho mas. Gracias y ansioso por ver el final de mi primer cultivo, parece que octubre se va a hacer rogar, y en tanto tiempo podrían salir mal tantas cosas que me tiene de los nervios LOL pero bueno, mente fría, esperanza y alegría.

Day 132 - 22.09.2020 - Pic updates. Now that my other plant got the boot, this lady has more space. I put up the trellis net to move the branches slightly and get better light penetration. Day 134 - 24.09.2020 - Pic updates. Her lower leaves are starting to yellow which is concerning. I am keeping an eye on her. Day 138 - 28.09.2020 - Pic updates. So definitely concerned. I went out and got the items I needed to start brewing a compost tea as she was yellowing more and looking a bit sad. Even though all my nutes have been given and the PH is right, I do not know why she is having these issues, but I am hoping a nice compost tea will get her back. Other than that she needs to put on more weight. But of the little buds that are there, they are dense as can be. So I am happy with what I see quality wise so far. I will be checking her in more detail later to see what the trichomes are doing, but when I checked quickly we were still very clear.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. 03/11/24- had determined last week that my runoff ph was crazy.. leaves darkened and clawing (N tox) and also a freaking mag deficiency. For the 3 past waterings I’ve given nothing but dechlorinated non ph’d water (tap water’s alkaline af) and epsom salts. The girls perked up and seem pretty happy. I’m going to give the calmag I have that claims to be N free, that has some micros and then some bloom only. I’m hoping stretch is over because it’s turning into a jungle. The frost on these things looks amazing already. The smell? Yeah.. can’t really describe it but it’s kinda offensive LOL

17.3.25: I've starred a Hulkberry auto. This was the first pack of seeds I bought! I realised it was mostly sativa, but now I'm ready to give it a go! Made my soil mix, which I will update next week.
