This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Gorilla Cookies continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall and lanky plant but look at the heavy buds weighing down the stems. It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. This has been another awesome week. She has been doing extremely well. Her recovery time from her first topping, to the point where I could top her again, was almost 2 weeks to the nose. So we have topped her a 2nd time this week. She is now at 4 nodes. I am expecting/hoping to be topping her again for the final time in another 2 weeks. From there, Its Veg time, A Lolli popping, And then Flower Flower Flower. This week she will also be moving into a bigger tent. My bloom tent is currently empty, so I am going to move her over early, get a little more light, and be ready for flower. This also allows me to use the veg tent for my other fresh started grow. Don't worry, I have just installed a camera into the bloom tent, so we will continue with the time lapse videos as best as possible. Some adjustments may be needed as Cotton Grows, but I have already thought ahead and "should" be ready. Notice the "'s around should.

Feb 27 I changed the light cycle to 18/6 a few days ago and surprisingly have seen the plants perking during sleep. Orange Sherbet is growing really quickly, I'm going to start Low Stress Training here soon to get these other stems some light.

Journal de culture – Semaine 4 de croissance (fin) Je ne suis vraiment pas satisfait de la plante, que je trouve faiblarde et manquant de vitalité. Son développement est lent, et je suspecte que la température, qui descend peut-être trop bas la nuit, pourrait en être la cause. Cependant, même le pied-mère de cette variété n’a pas une croissance exceptionnelle, ce qui me fait penser que le phénotype de cette variété n’est peut-être pas très bon. Pour ne pas perdre trop de temps, j’ai décidé de la passer en floraison aujourd’hui, avec un cycle de lumière 12-12. J’ai également changé la soupe et préparé 20 litres avec les nutriments nécessaires à la floraison. Sachant que cette variété a tendance à beaucoup stretcher, j’ai pratiqué du LST (Low Stress Training) pour recourber les sommités. Cependant, j’ai accidentellement cassé un apex, laissant seulement trois apex au lieu de quatre. Bien que je ne sois pas satisfait de cette plante ni du pied-mère, je vais finaliser cette culture et passer à une autre variété ensuite. 🇺🇸Cultivation Journal – Week 4 of Vegetative Growth (End) I’m really not satisfied with the plant; it seems weak and lacks vitality. Its development is quite slow, and I suspect the nighttime temperatures might be dropping too low. However, even the mother plant of this strain doesn’t show great growth, so I’m thinking the phenotype might not be very good. To avoid wasting more time, I’ve decided to switch it to flowering today, setting the light cycle to 12-12. I also replaced the nutrient solution, preparing 20 liters with the ingredients required for flowering. Knowing this strain stretches a lot, I applied LST (Low Stress Training) to bend the tops. Unfortunately, I broke one of the four apexes, so now there are only three left. Even though I’m not happy with this plant or the mother plant, I’ll finish this grow and move on to another strain afterward.

Welcome to my Alien Moonrocks Diary, sponsored by Original Sensible Seeds. Days 83-93 Grew well. Lots & lots of bud. Will be my biggest harvest I reckon. Smells of sweetness and and deep dank musk smell. Buds are far apart but of good quality. She's long and a hungry girl. I left her on water just for the week. Lots of the leafs started showing signs of hunger, but she evened out. Got no mad fade. I removed all of the fan leafs, so maybe there would of been some. Am gonna do my favourite drying method. Gonna push her just before the point of showing signs of stress for water. And then I'll chop her on the stem. Plan on a quick 5 day dry. As my temp is not great. So, a quick dry this way, will give a much better result than a quick dry by heat and losing lots of her potency. Thanks to my sponsors from Original Sensible Seeds for these beans. Has been flushing now for approximately two weeks. She really is not showing major signs of distress from flush. Mostly cloudy trichromes on buds with a few amber ones. Hello all growers. Thanks for all the support during that first grow. Hope all off you got a great Christmas and now everyone is looking towards a productive New Year. Gorilla Autoflower RQS. Amazing growth off buds this week. After Flushing she is taking all the benefits off it and concentrating on making her bud sites dense. Trichomes are 65%milky and 40% clear. I personally think By next week she looks she is gonna be ready for harvest. Only 6PH Water since Flushing. Have fun growing and following my Diaries I have an ongoing interesting Grow she shoots like a star. Updated coming tomorrow. Have fun growing. And a great beginning off the new year. What a strain

My medium starts to gather salt because of too much nutrients and it affects the plant, i washed it the last two waterings and I hope it’ll get better :)

She was great off the start ! Nothing bad to say except I only got 1 seed of this strain :( I wish I had more loll

It was a nice experience, It helped me with some things that I didn't know before. It was hard at the beginning because the plant was on a bad situation. But thanks to some fertilizers everything changed, also with love and patience. Good production but it could have been more. Next times will be better, now we have to be thankful and ready to continue😜

The buds are forming! Changed to a nicer light recently, light is great, although my mars hydro 600w did me justice. This new one I got of amazon for under $100 is 1000 watt led and crushing it. It has increased temps significantly which is a bit tough for me to control given my tent is in a closet. Also it is starting to getting less humid outside, so I reduced airflow in the tent to keep the humidity at 50. I have a small humidifier coming soon (oddly a Corporate work gift lol).
