I hate this part. Sit and wait. AND WATCH! I continue to defoliate lightly. Just big leave casting shadows on lower buds. All buds are starting to swell. This looks to be my best grow of the handful I have done. Knocking on wood and we will see in 3-4 weeks.

Hey! Welcome to week 8! Karen is mid way through her flowering stretch. Please check back to last week as I update daily so the week is now complete. I count about 20 colas now. Day 51: Have reconfigured the tent, see video. Karen is now 36cm and still stretching. Karen has more light now. Smell is still there hits you when you open the tent. Fertigated 2l. Day 52: Height: 39cm. Karen's scent is heavenly. I have reconfigured again and installed some upgrades. Better reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Increased airflow. Better config. More efficient pot layout. Karen is lovely. I am grateful to her and for her, so I wrote her a little poem, I hope she liked it. "Karen! Oh Karen! The phoenix of flowers, Three lowly weeks she struggled in vain, Shadowed and starved for five hundred hours, He slowly wept to witness her pain. Karen! Oh Karen! I P-H'd your showers, and in the fourth week you started to gain, Hallowed and hard you survived as you cowered, I thought you meek, I was wrong once again. Karen! Oh Karen! Forgave me my howlers. She set a pace, a pace she maintained, Now shes a girl at the peak of her powers, And so I'm a geek, with buds on the brain." Day 53: Approx 48h into a simulated dry spell. Alright I think it is time for Karen to get her first MAJOR defoliation. I will update shortly with photos and info. I will also be doing some gentle LST to separate the colas a bit. Day 53.5: Defoliation and LST. Finally got chance to photograph that bunda. Enjoy! Day 53.75: Bit of a fail. Messed up the timer and the lights ended up being off for about 3 or 4 hours. Because I was cooling the room (open window) to keep temperature in the tent down, without any light the temperatures absolutely plummeted as it is sub-zero outside. By the time I realised and turned the lights on, the temp in the main tent had dropped to 14 degrees celsius. Whoops! How is that for mistreating your girl? Defoliated about 80% of her leaves, 4 nodes, significant LST, then stuck her in the cold and dark for 1/6 of a day. Not to mention she is now almost 3 days into a "dry spell". There do not seem to be ill effects, and Karen has already begun to respond to the LST; all the colas that had been changed in angle are now upright again. The dry spell I keep mentioning, there is a method behind my madness, I have spotted one or two small flies and I think they may be fungus gnats. I am starting to suspect that the 2nd seedling in the Purple OG Punch Auto grow was actually beheaded by fungus gnat larvae. So I am drying out the mediums as much as I dare. I am closely monitoring the plants, so far the only one I have had to break the drought for is Enigma; all the girls in big pots haven't even noticed it's dry yet. How far am I going to push it? Well I will judge it on a plant by plant basis, but quite honestly I am hoping to see physical signs of thirst before I breakdrought. Of all the plants the two I think will respond most strongly to this will be Karen and Bertha, because of where they are. Karen here is actually probably 4 weeks into flowering rather than two, so about now is a good time to give her a little hydration stress. I do not think I will push it past 5 days, as RH is 34%. By now all the plants will be compensating for the lack of moisture and the high temperatures and low humidity. They will be taking more and more moisture out of the coco, and as the coco dries further and further down, those plants that have space will start desperately growing roots to find moisture. Mark my words, 24 hours after I end this drought, every plant in the tent will throw out crazy growth. Day 54: Ended drought and fertigated 6l, no run off, I will re-fertigate tomorrow. Karen is still stretching her height post LST is now 37cm. The two tallest colas seem to have stopped but the other colas are still stretching. Day 55: Alright so it has been 5 hours since lights on, and Karen is looking in good shape, all her drooping leaves have perked back up and she has added quite a bit of foliar growth. The colas are all still rising, except perhaps the two tallest. This girl is absolutely loaded with pistils, I'm starting to see trichomes on the sugar leaves, but trich production hasn't started in earnest yet. She has a least 20 colas, and 6 of them are thicker/taller than the primary cola at her tip. Every one of her nodes has reinforced itself with a bulbous growth and these cola branches are swelling rapidly. I am increasingly of the opinion that, all being well, this girl is going to surprise us all with her yield. My first grow, which was just mucking about really, I got 60-70g of the two main plants, and they were just bare sticks with 2 colas. Although her height is less than theirs was, 2/3 of their height was bare stick... whereas every mm of her is befoliaged and living. So in terms of the height of the actual cola I think they were about comparable in usable space on a per cola basis. The main difference being that Karen has 20+ colas whereas they had 2 primary and 2 lower. I know that it is probably unrealistic to expect more than 70g from a single auto grown indoors. Nevertheless my gut tells me this baby could achieve at least 100g, perhaps as much as 150g. The next few weeks will determine that, but given where we were in week 3 I will be grateful for any yield of quality bud. I have dropped the lights down to 18/6 from 'tonight' onwards. I really have no idea how long we have left for Karen. According the the "brochure" she flowers for 7-8 weeks, with a total crop time of 9 weeks. The problem is I don't know what a total crop time is? Does that mean from seed to finish? If so Karen is clearly not going to be anywhere near that timescale.I am going to go ahead an assume that, for my plant anyway, the first 4 weeks were veg weeks. I think it is fair to count week 5 and 6 as flowering because pistils were popping out very early in week 5 if not before. So that makes this week four of flowering. I am going to assume 8 weeks rather than 7, so I think we have another 4 full weeks give or take a week. On that basis I am expect harvest week to be around week 12 or so. I am not fixed on this though, I am determined not to harvest this girl early. Day 55: Photos taken 00:00 9/3/23 Strong 24h of veg growth as predicted. Day 56: Existing leaves continue to swell. Stretch appears to be slowing. I've taken so many media this week that I cannot scroll down far enough to select a recent thumbnail. Probably Karen's biggest week in terms of changes. She is looking like she is going to impress. Height 39cm.

I ran out of BioBloom but the harvest is really close now so I would have water with clear water anyway, cool! I harvested the Gorilla Cookies end of the week. The two other ones are almost ready, I'll probably harvest them end of next week 😎 I also rearranged the last two ones to put them right under the light.

She got to big for the 2x2x4 so I had to move it to a bigger 2x4x5 that has a new never before used 320w kingbright so this whole grow is evolving as it goes I had no clue that hydro and 200w in veg would make the plant this big. Temps are much easier to control now in the bigger setup. the 7 gallon res. is loseing about 1 gal a day I top it off and check PH/EC once a day it almost never needs adjusting so that is really nice.

Another good week!! I defoliated the smaller of the 2 plants mid-week... I think she is doing very fine. A small hiccup with the feed that same night. Only a few leaves are showing any sign on nutrient burn. I went ahead and fed them again today. I plan on watering them in a day or two... they were very thirsty this afternoon!! So, I definitely need to up the watering. I've still been feeding 3 quarts twice a week. Otherwise, all seems to be going well!! They are frosting up very nicely!! So exciting!! Peace!! I've been trimming this lady daily and she just keeps growing leaves like mad. Trimmed a ton of the under canopy and any leaves that shield what appear to be bud sites... and keep trying to do that while balancing maximum photosynthesis. I keep training her down and trimming her down, and she keeps filling out! A touch of lightened green at the inner new leaves is making me nervous. Doing a full reservoir swap today so that may help. Still pretty far behind what I was expecting for an auto at this stage, but growth is wicked.

overall was great to grow and for it being my second grow I'm so glad how well it turned out some of the frostiest buds I've seen or smoked.

I finally had some time to harvest everything, left her for 2 days in the dark in a vase. The smell was so intense in comparison to the painkiller. Since it rained a lot there was some bud rot but I guess that was inevitable. The honey cream still grows strong has no bud rot since the buds seem fluffy enough for a good airflow.

Es ist das erste Mal, das ich Töpfe für den Outdoor grow verwende, bisher waren alle Gorilla grows und direkt in die Erde gepflanzt. Tag 220: Heute ist wieder Mondhöchststand, nur 5 Tage nach Vollmond, Blütetag, letzter Erntetag und erster Aussaattag, ideal zum Ernten. Dieses Mal habe ich von jeder Dame einen Film der Trichome gemacht, deutlich zu sehen sind die vielen trüben Trichome und einige Bernsteinfarbene. Passt. Von der Power Flower fem. und von der Special Kush #1 fem. habe ich jeweils die 3 stärksten Äste geholt. Ich bin sehr froh, nur eine Teilernte gemacht zu haben, sonst würde ich noch den Rest der Woche schnibbeln. Es gibt Budtrimmmaschinen, vielleicht werde ich mir nächstes Jahr eine Zulegen, mal sehen. Bisher habe ich immer die ganze Pflanze geerntet und zum trocknen aufgehängt und dann trocken getrimmt. Dieses Mal verwende ich die DryFerm Bags, somit wurde zum ersten Mal Nass getrimmt. Das Ergebnis war eine Punklandung, 256 g bei der Power Flower und 257 g bei der Kush, nach dem Trimmen. Die Royal Medic bleibt wie sie ist. Der VPD muss angepasst werden, da sich die Temperatur von im Schnitt 28,5 Grad auf im Schnitt 22,5 Grad gesenkt hat. Die Blattoberflächentemperatur liegt im Schnitt bei 20,5 wodurch die RLF% bei ca 60-65% gehalten wird. Heute wurden die Damen auch vollständig mit ca 8,5L mit einem PH von 6,3 und 0,5 ml/L CalMag gegossen. Ein leichtes LST hat die Fürsorge heute abgerundet. Ziel ist es mit einer wider gesunden Pflanze an den Rand des Topes zu kommen. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 36 – Vegetative Phase: The transplant is still visibly causing stress to the plants. The temperature difference is also clearly stressing them. The VPD needs to be adjusted, as the average air temperature has dropped from around 28.5 °C to approximately 22.5 °C. Leaf surface temperature averages about 20.5 °C, which requires relative humidity to be maintained at roughly 60–65%. Today, the plants were fully watered with approximately 8.5 liters per pot, adjusted to a pH of 6.3 and supplemented with 0.5 ml/L Cal-Mag. Light LST was also applied today to round off plant care. The goal is to reach the edge of the pot again with healthy, stable plants.

FBA2502 Plants 1-6 Week 7 May 11– 17 FLOWER 3 Nutrients : Micro 25 ml Gro 10 ml Bloom 30ml CalMag 30 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 16.5ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/11 PH 6.56, PPM 1560, temp 69 2ltr each 5/12 PH 6.31, PPM 1120, temp 68 1 ltr each 5/14 PH 6.66, PPM 1280, temp 70 1 ltr each 5/15 PH 6.66, PPM 850, temp 72 1 ltr each 5/11 Defoliation, feed, pics & videos I made 4 gallons, used 3 to water then poured the runoff back into the rest in the bucket. The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots. Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis Tout d'abord merci à greenhouse de me permettre de faire cette culture en m'offrant le feeding greenhouse et des graines Je rappelle que cultive simultanément 9 pots de 10 et 11 litres dans une box prévu pour 4 et que je n'utilise que le strict minimum du matériel nécessaire à une culture correcte au prix le plus bas possible MATÉRIEL CONFIGURATION Box 80×80×160 Lampe led Lampwin 300 watts ×2 Ventilateur à pince 15 watts Xiaomi Deerma humidificateurs 5L Hygrometre thermomètre Extracteur PROFAN 107 m3/h - 100 Prise programmable électronique ×2 1 pot carré noir 10 litres Green house feeding enhancer Green house feeding biobloom Green house feeding biogrow Substrat biobizz ligthmix Fil de fer et pince coupante Microscope Petite balance de précision CULTURE ÉTAPE PAR ÉTAPE J'ai tout dabord fais germé ma graine avec le easy start de Royal queen seed et je suis agréablement surpris car franchement le taux de réussite est très élevé (17 graines sur 19) simple d'utilisation et très efficace. Une fois la plantule sortie et d'une hauteur de 2 ou 3 centimètres je la prend délicatement et la place directement dans son pot définitif. Je préconise des pots allant entre 10 litres et 15 litres pour des autofloraisons cultivées en intérieur. Le pot aura été préalablement préparé (video dans diarie) avec 30 grammes d'engrais greenhouse feeding biobloom et 30 grammes de greenhouse feeding biogrow, soit l'équivalent de 3 grammes par litre de substrat. Je dépose donc la plantule dans son pot définitif je recouvre un peu de avec de la terre je tasse légèrement et j'arrose pour garder le substrat humide pas plus Je place ma lampe led 300watts à environ 90 centimètres de la plantule avec un cycle de lumière de 24/24 pendant une semaine. Au début de la semaine 2 le cycle de lumière passera en 20/4 grace a un programmateur car c'est pour moi le cycle de lumière qui offre le meilleur rendement pour une autofloraison. Jour1: léger arrosage Jour2: léger arrosage Jour3: la plantule commence à être plus vigoureuse mise en place de la ventilation pour augmenter sa masse racinaire et léger arrosage Jour4: arrosage avec un litre et demi d'eau ph6.3 à laquelle j'ai ajouté 0.9 gramme de greenhouse feeding enhancer (soit 0.6 gramme par litre d'eau) Jour5: aucune technique spéciale Jour6: aucune technique spéciale Semaine agréablement calme sans problème ni carence apparente Que la force soit avec vous !
