Already juiced the lemon, have the spring water, and off-brand baking soda because COVID has every place sold out of Arm&Hammer 😂 Dale: 50 Grams Wet Buds/Stem 15 Grams Trim/Larf = Total 65 Grams Wet Brennan: 55 Grams Wet Buds/Stem 12 Grams Trim/Larf = 67 Grams Wet Total Wet: 132 Grams (Buds/Stems/Trim) Looks like I'm getting in and around the "1 Ounce per Auto Plant" range with my basic soil/hand feed system. The CMOG from my other diary looks like it will be my first 1OZ plant when it dries. With my past experience of wet buds drying out to about half of bud weight, I'm hoping that they both come in JUST under an Oz a piece. Going to update with more pictures, going to take a couple days to dry and get a good weight and hopefully get somewhere close to the 64 grams of the ONLY sized Boveda packs I have right now 😇 -- UPDATE - Dec 20 2020 - Cure Day 😵😭 i once again got my hopes up by pulling the classic male "over-exaggerating" and all the wet weight came from the main stems. After 3 days or so of drying both plants together came in just under an ounce. The smell is great and I have no doubt it's quality bud but I need to up my density game somehow for sure. New nutrients or better set up, still very low-end with all my equipment as I've just slowly been finding affordable pieces to add as I go. Maybe more light? Feel free to hit me up below with ideas short of switching to a Hydro set up 😹 I can hardly afford my bags of soil so I definitely couldnt keep up with the financial costs of a Hydro set up yet 😓 Have had a few bowls of the dried/uncured bud and it's very nice, clean, and crazy good for being uncured at this point. FBTF was amazing. I tested topping with this plant, and while I do think that topping and root issues were the reason this plant did not grow so big. However, I did harvest dense colas that were all even in size and equally dense with loads of orange hairs everywhere, I am definitely growing again next grow.

10/21 Day 23 Well may be seeing some improvement on Brandy and Maggie from the drench and mag foliar spray. Will spray again tomorrow. Layla is just lovely and holding off another day on watering, temps have lowered and humidity is up so drying is slow. Just dont get it but I have decided to go full Coco coir from here on, something aint right 10/22 Fed Layla Big Bloom 3tsp - Fish Mix 1tsp - CalMag 1tsp - Recharge 0.5tsp - Fish Sh!t 0.5tsp / Gal at 6.5 ph for 0.5 gal Brandy and Maggie seem to be improving, had to train and gave another foliar spraying nothing else done. 10/24 Update New Pics - note new growth Plants beginning to drink more and Maggie showing most improvement. Afraid Brandy will stunt but sure that was going to happen a week ago. Leaf structure is improving greatly. Prob will feed in a day or two and another foliar spray at the same time 10/26 Day 28 Finally fed all three girls - nothing much has changed appearance wise and pics tomorrow on new week. Including initial dose of bloom nuets as hairs are showing strong - no foliar spray until Sunday. Feeding: Cal-Mag 5ml - Big bloom 15ml - Fish Mix 5ml - Bio-Bloom 5ml - Fish Sh!t 5ml / gal @6.45 ph for 1 gal (Layla) 0.75 gal (Maggie) 0.5 gal (Brandy) as they are drinking at different rates unfortunately. Final PH is taken after all nuets added, makes a difference. NOTE: Since this veg cycle is ending and the plants will be moving to the Flowering tent and this tent will be doing drying duty for the LSD-25 for a few days, time we were getting the Growit Coco coir ready for the Green Crack grow in a week or so. Hydrated the first brick (2 cuft hyd) and am single buffering the coco with 30 ml of cal-mag in four gallons of water for 24 hours. This will also serve as a safety wash just in case the factory lies :) Its supposed to be pretty good coco, little if any peat or croutons I can see. Will do second brick when this one finished and I can store Looking at using a different system this time around. 🌸 Pink Rosay Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno A | Week 11 💗 Compact. Charming. Frosty. And Still One of My Absolute Favourites. Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! 🌱💚 And honestly... I don't think I'm going to get tired of saying this. I wish I had more plants like this one. 😂💗 Because every time I look at Pink Rosay Pheno A, I have exactly the same thought: "Why can't they all be this easy?" 😂 She's in full auto mode now. She's growing. She's developing. She's doing exactly what she wants to do. But she's doing it in the most beautifully compact way possible. She's not trying to take over the room. She's not reaching for the ceiling. She's not creating some enormous structure that requires an engineering degree to navigate. She's simply... growing. Beautifully. Compactly. Efficiently. And carrying some absolutely gorgeous flowers. This girl has charm. And the more I watch her develop, the more I appreciate it. 💗🌸✨ ──────────────────────── 🌱 The 8×8 Adventure — Same Room, Different Stories For anyone discovering this diary for the first time, welcome to the 8×8 Adventure. The idea behind this project is simple: Give twelve different plants essentially the same opportunity... and let them show us what they can do. Same room. Same general environment. Same 12/12 lighting schedule. Same irrigation philosophy. Same nutritional program. Same lighting ecosystem. Same grower. But different genetics. Different phenotypes. Different structures. Different personalities. And Pink Rosay Pheno A continues to be one of the clearest examples of why this experiment is so much fun. Because while some plants use the same environment to become enormous... this girl seems to have decided: "Thank you for all the photons. I'll just make every centimetre count." 😂💗 And I absolutely love that. ──────────────────────── 💗 I Still Wish They Were All Like Her I said it last week. I'm saying it again. And I'll probably say it again next week. I wish I had more plants like this one. 😂 Not because I don't love the big girls. I absolutely do. There is something incredible about seeing a huge plant filling a space with enormous branches and massive flowering structures. Those plants are spectacular. But... they can also be a pain in the ass to manage. 😂 Moving them. Reaching around them. Getting the camera into the right position. Checking everything. Making space. Working around branches. Trying not to knock something over. And then there's Pink Rosay. "Hello, little lady." Pick her up. Move her. Inspect her. Photograph her. Put her back. Done. 😂💗 And somehow... she's carrying flowers that look like they belong on a much larger plant. That's what gets me. ──────────────────────── 🌸 Compact Frame. Huge Flower Presence. This girl is still proving that size doesn't tell the whole story. She's compact. She's manageable. She's easy to work with. But look at those flowers. The formation is beautiful. The buds are developing into substantial, impressive structures. The density is becoming one of her defining characteristics. And the frost? Absolutely on point. ❄️❄️❄️ This is one of those plants where you can look at the overall structure and think: "That's a small plant." Then you look closer... and suddenly: "Wait a minute..." 😂 Because the flowers completely change the perspective. She's not wasting much of her available space. She's putting her energy into building beautiful flowering structures. And I think that's part of the charm of this phenotype. She doesn't need to be enormous to make an impression. She just needs to be herself. And she's doing that extremely well. ──────────────────────── ✨ The Charm of Pink Rosay I used the word "charm" earlier. And I think that's exactly what it is. There's something about this phenotype that makes me smile. Maybe it's the proportions. Maybe it's the compact architecture. Maybe it's those beautiful flowers. Maybe it's the way the buds are developing. Maybe it's the frost. Maybe it's simply the fact that she's so damn easy to love. 😂💗 She's not dramatic. She's not demanding. She's not trying to prove anything. She's just quietly getting on with the job. And somehow... she keeps getting more beautiful. That's a pretty wonderful personality to have in a room full of twelve very different plants. ──────────────────────── ❄️ Frost Is Definitely Showing Up The resin development is another part of this girl that I really enjoy watching. As the flowers continue developing, the frost becomes increasingly obvious. Those little sparkling details start showing themselves everywhere. From a distance, you see the flowers. Get closer... and suddenly the whole thing becomes a completely different world. Trichomes. Resin. Pistils. Calyxes. Sugar leaves. Tiny textures everywhere. This is one of those stages where macro photography becomes especially addictive. 😂📸 Because every time you zoom in, there's another little detail waiting to be discovered. And Pink Rosay gives the camera plenty to work with. ──────────────────────── 📸 A Photographer's Dream I've said this before... but it remains true. Pink Rosay is incredibly easy to photograph. And that's not a small thing when you're documenting twelve different plants. Some plants make you work for the shot. You have to move around them. Find an opening. Move a branch. Change the camera position. Try not to bump into something. 😂 Pink Rosay? She basically cooperates. She's compact enough that I can get around her. Her flowers are accessible. Her structure is easy to understand. And once the camera gets close... she starts telling her own story. Wide shot: "Nice little plant." Closer shot: "Okay..." Macro: "Holy shit, look at that frost." 😂💗❄️ That's exactly what I love about photographing plants. The closer you get, the more complicated and beautiful the story becomes. ──────────────────────── 💡 Still Eating Photons The room continues operating under the same upgraded lighting setup. The Future of Grow Black Series LEDs are providing the main overhead lighting, with the additional fixtures now part of the room's lighting ecosystem. After adding the two extra Black Series 600W fixtures, the initial output was higher than we wanted, so we reduced the power to approximately 59% from the plug. The result? Around 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy, with the intensity naturally decreasing depending on plant height and position. And Pink Rosay? She's using those photons in her own way. Some plants respond to the same environment with enormous vertical growth. Some create wider structures. Some build huge canopies. And this little lady seems to say: "I don't need to be tall. Just give me the photons and watch what I do with them." 😂💗 And honestly... I'm impressed. ──────────────────────── 💡 More Capability Without Chasing Maximum Power One thing I really like about this lighting upgrade is that we don't need to run everything at full power simply because the fixtures are capable of it. Having more lighting capacity gives us flexibility. We can distribute the photons across the room. We can reach the canopy properly. And we can dial the output back to where we actually want it. That's a very different thing from simply turning everything to 100% and calling it a day. The goal is not maximum power. The goal is providing the room with the right lighting environment. And right now, Pink Rosay seems very happy with what she's receiving. There is absolutely no prize for using scissors just because you have scissors. 😂✂️ Sometimes the best thing you can do for a plant is stop trying to find something to do to it. Healthy leaves are still working. Flowers are developing. The structure is functioning. So we let her continue. Water. Nutrition. Light. Environment. Observation. And a little bit of love. Sometimes a smaller plant can be incredibly impressive when she knows exactly how to use the space she's given. And this girl? She knows. She doesn't need another metre of height. She doesn't need a massive footprint. She doesn't need to fill every corner. She just needs to keep doing what she's already doing. Growing. Stacking. Frosting. Building. Shining.
