The veg cycle was shorter than i usually like to have a plant go through, due to time restrictions for the Bubba Cheesecake Diary grow-off, but it still did fantastic in my mind! Three months in veg under high-octane light and 11 1/2 weeks in flower have let this plant turn into a dreadlocked group of nugs. Three main colas, but lots of burnable flower to enjoy once the dry is finished. I did a light LST with a decent amount of defoliation throughout the plant's life. I like to open up the middle area of the plant and let as much light as possible hit as many branch and potential flower nodes as possible. This way, i don't need to lollipop as many branches and as much foliage as i would if i didn't do this. Plus, the candelabra look is b-e-a-Utiful, in my opinion. Light intensity through veg ranged from 40% as a fresh seedling to around 55% the week before i put it into the bloom room. Once it was in the bloom room, the intensity was set at 50% for the first couple weeks to allow for a decent stretch. After that, i think i recorded the light intensity in my diary notes for each week. But, just in case i didn't, I bumped up the intensity by a few percent every 3 days until i hit 100%. Once i got to MAXIMUM POWER, i left it there until harvest. Water was natural well water that tests out at 7 pH. I always added BuildABloom to the water, never the soil, when i used it. Same with Dr. Earth's 1-2-1 tea concentrate. Other than those instances, it was just straight water that i was giving to the plant. Grow rooms are both about 4'x8'. TUESDAY 7/23: The FIM'ing seems to have only doubled her main, but that's okay. She's going from Hawaii conditions to Arizona conditions every day...8-10 hour of 72f/70+%RH to 12-14 hours of 96f/35%RH and taking it like a champ. I foliar fed her after taking her outside today and started training her a little bit. Gonna try to get those tiny lower branches to think they have a shot at "primary cola" status. I had no wire with me, so I just used a pliable length of dead-ish vine that was lying on the ground. I'll use some wire and binder clips when I can find it.. Evening...same day: She broke the vine I was using to hold her down, so I dug around and found some clips and wire. WEDNESDAY: She was just about 4 inches beneath 120w of LED last night with tons of blue spectra, 69f temperature and 80% RH. Those lower branches gained another half inch each and the top colas have turned to face the sun. I foliar fed her and gave her a little douche of Bactrex this morning when I took her outside. Had a cool front come through today, so the high will just be 87f and it's dropping to the mid to low 60's tonight..hooray! They're forecasting another day or two like this before the return to "oven-like" conditions.👍 I carried my pole saw down to the site at daybreak and removed a few smaller branches above them and to the West. I'll see if it is allowing some evening sun to reach her when I go down there to fetch her home to the LED's for the evening. THURSDAY: I was somewhat successful with getting a little bit more direct sunlight to her while outside during the day..about another 20-25 extra minutes. She got a sip of compost tea today with a little kelp me kelp you and big bloom. I tweaked her indoor domain a bit..she's now got 2 x 12w Miracle LED veg bulbs (cool white with 475nm peak), 1 x 75w cool white/460nm 225LED panel, 1 x 40w Sansi daylight grow bulb, 1 x 50w 460nm/cool white flood, and 1 x 18w 18" pinkish grow light bar. None of the lights are more than 5 inches from her, so she's incredibly well lit. I'm estimating that it's about 5,000 micromoles an hour, but I'm keeping the temp at her canopy under 80f with 90+% RH. It's not direct sunlight, but I think she's happy. I'm still undecided as to whether I'll keep her on a 24/0 schedule or if I'll cut it back to 20/4 when she starts flowering. Since I can provide her with a cool and humid environment for a third of the day, I'm leaning towards running 24/0 the whole grow. FRIDAY: I accidentally burnt her up a little bit today..one of the overhead LED's slipped and was about an inch from her top leaves...oops..I put her outside and misted her with some boom boom spray and kelp me kelp you.. SATURDAY: She's got a few crispy leaves, but she perked up and is growing again...whew...😓 SUNDAY: I tweaked her indoor environment today. She's now got a 120w quantum board (3500k) overhead, a 24w panel with 225 x 660nm red LEDs, the 40w Sansi light, one 9w 2' bar grow light, and one 12w Miracle LED blue.

2nd topped on day 20 and she is reacted well to HST, she is too busy with growing, there is no time to get stunted. I give her 1/3 of the feed schedule’s recommendation. Soon I will switch to bottom feed. DLI has been set to 30. Day 26 - today I installed the Megapot system. She has been transplanted from a 5 gal bag to a 6 gal one, it was quite a torture I must say. More stress for the plant. I had to do this for the better drainage. Was it a stupid move? We shall see.

After a weeks growth in four litre pots I defoliated them ready to go into flower. Started feeding them full strength with coir feed even though they are in soil. Looking happy so far, I'm tight on space so will keep them in check if I can as they flower.

Yooooooooyoyoyoyoyooooo, Beginning of week 12. Could i harvest already? Yes. But i want to wait at least one more week until harvest so probably week 13. I read that waiting a week more than usual can boost potency and yield as long as it won't get too hot, but it won't - hopefully lol. The E.C. was kinda high 1.1 So i partially cleaned the reservoir, emptied about 6 liters and refilled it with pH water Well the Plant is looking absolutely stunning and is definitely one of the best looking plant i ever grew. In Reallife she is looking so much better. Over all trichomes over trichomes, the buds get more and more purple, and they look SO dense, I LOVE IT! Really good genetic. If i can get my hands on the Photoperiod strains from fastbuds i will grow some mother plants and will try cloning for the first time, Growing in Deep water culture is awesome. For me, it's more fun than on soil. i want to try coco but if i try coco i will buy something like the autopot system. im too stupid for hand watering and will screw up at some point. the less i have to handwater the lower the risk Thats for this week, have a wonderful day, and see you next week, cheers!

I am a little late on updating this week. I left the girls alone for a few days and came back to a jungle. Going to be doing a lot of defoliation over the next couple days. I have cut out the maxigro, silica, and humic/fulvic. I started them on some liquid koolbloom to help build the buds. Twisted helix is a very sad plant. The leaves literally turn upside down like it just wants to die. If I just brush up against the plant is shows signs of major stress. I will give the strain one more chance in the future before I call it a failure. Other than that all the plants are looking happy and packing on some pistils. Just going to keep the juice pumping and the lights beaming.....

The girl is hungry and asked for 5 liters watering. (1200 ml has flowed through)😋

Good week no nutrients still but had to cut a branch down to lowest nodes on shogun, it responded well and I don’t think I will lose much on her just a little weird shape, next week will be using home made compost and marine cuisine to boost veg while I can, they small greattt!
