This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots. Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

Bloom time baby 🤣🤣🤣 9 weeks from now on.

End of 2nd week of flower update: Hooray I have buds! Little buds starting forming about a week ago and they have put on a little weight. Starting adding bloom booster IE; Bud Explosion from Mega-crop. Couple leaves on plant#2 shows signs of calcium deficiency, so I've been adding Cal+Mg Pro My LST skills are a tad lacking, this is my first attempt so its not too bad, should of started training a bit earlier. other than that Girls look healthy and happy :).

😍😍😍 Everyones favorite time has arrived. The flowers have started plumping and the frost caking on. The trichs are so long its crazy!! Like hair on tarantula legs!!! The flowers look great and appear to be getting nice and dense. I do want to see peoples opinions on when they remove added co2 from the tent. I should be about 14-21 days away from harvest with my guess closer to 21. I was told to take out the co2 two weeks before harvest by one person. Another says they leave it til the end, he has some damn nice flowers so its hard to argue lol what do you do?? Heres to a smooth finish!! One thing that i think happened was phosphorous toxicity in the one plant. I think thats what i read awhile ago for why it has the brown hairs like that compared to the other 5 plants. is that corrrect?

Watering only every 3 days or so has become the norm. I am very curious to see how this strain will turn out!

Week three of flower is off to an amazing start! At day 22, the ladies are looking incredibly healthy. They're praying like crazy, reaching for the light, and stacking nodes like it's their job. The buds are starting to plump up, and the trichome production is getting intense. I'm so excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks!
