Harvest day has finally arrived for my Frostbanger Auto, and I’m very happy with how this run turned out. She finished at 69 days from seed and impressed me from start to finish. Throughout flowering she developed a strong, sweet aroma that became richer and more noticeable every week. By harvest time, opening the tent released an amazing smell that filled the entire room. The buds developed beautifully, with excellent frost coverage and plenty of sparkling trichomes covering the flowers and sugar leaves. Visually, she became one of the prettiest plants I’ve grown, showing great structure and dense, resin-coated buds. Final wet weight came in at 230g, which I’m very pleased with. The plant stayed healthy, responded well throughout the grow, and rewarded me with a solid harvest and outstanding bag appeal. Overall, Frostbanger Auto was a pleasure to grow. Great aroma, heavy trichome production, beautiful buds, and a satisfying yield. Now it's time for drying and curing, and I can't wait to see how the final quality develops over the next few weeks. Day 80, 22nd of October 2020: 3rd week of flowering! Happiness she needs a lot of boost hard to keep up. She loves fertilization too much..... I mean before always craving for nitrogen now qould need more potassium and phosphorus hard to keep up. I also detect deficiency based on the leaves getting lighter and brown spots but I do feed her as much as I can really. This week i have relised the first nice trichomes started "sitting" on the leaves as well and the pistils coming out nicely pre flowers forming. Let's go.

This week my LSD-25 that I mainlined is having issues, I wasn’t too sure if it was heat stress cause tents temps have gone up to 83 the highest and hovers around high 70’s all week, or if it was a calcium issue, potassium, or nute burn. Either way they’re looking CRISPY lol. The other LSD-25 that was just LST, is actually doing quite well with none of those same problems. I flushed out the burnt plant with some regular PH’d water to see if it had any effect and then finished with some soluble gypsum. Other than that the last 2 plants are doing great and chugging along!

Alla fine questo feno di CBD auto 20:1 non è riuscito a preservare i tratti della fioritura automatica, evidentemente i geni fotoperiodici sono riusciti ad avere la meglio nella battaglia per la sopravvivenza della specie, non sempre le cose vanno come di progetto! Tanto la tenda sta andando a 12/12 perché ci sono 2 FF e quindi non ci sono problemi per le ragazze! Sto dando sia a lei che a LSD25 da bere separatamente rispetto alle altre perché ognuna ha i suoi tempi per bere e quindi mi sto regolando di conseguenza, la bilancia per pesare i vasi mi sta aiutando…ma guardo anche la forma della pianta ovviamente e se ha sete dovresti riconoscere dall’aspetto un po’ affaticato, ecco fin qui sarebbe meglio non arrivare, per questo ho messo il limite con un peso di 2.1 kg, sotto questo limite vuol dire che devono bere assolutamente! Funziona!

Day 75 Everything is going great again I started looking at the trichomes under a microscope. On some buds, 90% of the trichomes are clear and 10% are milky to amber On other buds, 80% are clear milky and 20% are milky to amber I think I'll wait another week or so before flushing. The soil pH has stabilized at 6.5 pH and the TDS is 1000-1100 ppm The smell is already quite strong. If I turn off the fan for even 5 minutes, the whole house stinks I think it would have been better to defoliate more aggressively than the last time, but it doesn't make sense now. I don't want to put too much stress on the plant so that all its energy goes into hardening and forming buds. Let's see how it turns out.

Still struggling to get the EZ Feed dialed in. The APs are looking great. Number 1 is going to be a monster. The two EZ Feed plants have skinnier leaves and the stems aren't as stout. Also, swapped plants in back to the front from last week.

Rolling into week 7. Time to dial down the nutes and start my UVB regiment. I use Reptisun 10.0 bulbs due to LED UV's giving far less than optimal performance. Reptisun 5.0 bulbs work 2. I only run them from week 7 to flush and for only 3 hours a day within the current light cycle. Update day 45: After doing a trichome check, it finished EARLY!! Time to do a quick flush then harvest. I was going to add the nutes to the fresh water today 😂😂

Día 43 La variedad Tropicana no engordó nada. Los cogollos son flacos. Muy firmes y llenos de resina. Pero son chiquitos. Incluso en la que hice ni corte ni LST. Así que será algún tema del fenotipo. La Polaris al vontrario, tiene cogollos grandes y está demorando un poco más que la Tropicana. De todos modos, se ve que las dos están sacando muchos tricomas. Haber vuelto a usar EMRO hizo una diferencia enorme en el resto de solución que queda en el depósito al finalizar la semana. Con EMRO sale transparente. Sin EMRO sale llena de restos de raíces. Y con sólo 1ml/L. Ahora le puse 2ml/L, ya que la próxima semana es el lavado, así que ya que está que li pie bien a fondo. Incluso pensé en usar EMRO este lavado cómo experimentación. Así que posiblemente haga eso. Seguramente tenga que cortar una antes que la otra. Pero también lo voy a ir viendo.

From the looks of it. I am in early stages of root rot. Plant is not growing as fast as it was at all. It can be a few things. Light penetration into the bucket. My water temps are around 70f. So I think that's okay. I had some extra mylar from a grow I did years ago. Cut pieces to go over the kids hopefully that helps. I took out all additives besides CalMag. They were fouling the rez as usual. Dropping the Ph as usual. I think it's also the cause of the root rot. I have sprayed soaked with h202 and have added it to the reservoir after a cleaning and a water change. Looks a bit better. I'm located in Canada and I cannot find hydroguard anywhere. Which kinda sucks. Any alternatives would be great. Thanks

Another week has passed and this lady seems to have recovered from last week's sudden problems. I just kept feeding with clear water, I suspect low PH and my solution fixed it. I also raised the light a little more, this SP 3000 is a true beast of a light, and especially the Kush in the middle couldn't handle it that well. Thank you @MarsHydroLED I did some final defoliating, only bundled up leaves and leaves covering major bud sites. This Orange Hill Special is something else though, Im happy to grow this, she is pretty and sophisticated in all, almost majestic. The buds are speckled with orange hairs, the shape of each like a round ball of ice cream. She was pretty from seedling on and looking back, I would have loved some offspring of this pheno. She is a thrill and no signs of male parts on this one, although it can happen with this strain. So glad I have some more seeds and cant wait to put a tentful of this. Don't let its low score dissuade you, yes there is a chance she hermies but when she doesn't my my my... Check em out here @DutchPassion_Official She smells of orange and tangerine with a very strong hazy undertone. This combination promises a great smoke and frankly, I cant wait.
