***** Week 4 Veg - December 26/20 to Jan 1/21 ***** The girls were transplanted on Christmas day, after three weeks in the solo cups from seed. They had been growing well in cups but I must admit that I feel the root mass should have been larger after that time period. I am working with a new nutrient line that I have not used before and have not been adding microbes to the feed schedule thus far.........or hardly any. I feel this is why the root system, while looking healthy, is looking too small. Over the next couple weeks will ensure they get lots of microbes in the 1 gal pots to fill those up with roots before moving to 5 gal pots.......the last upsize for this girls. Counting my weeks for finish I am wishing that I had started these girls a couple of weeks sooner so they may not get to veg in the 5 gal pots for a couple of weeks before flipping to flower. For these girls it is still pretty early on in their lives and not many exciting things to happen the first month of seedlings. We have done one upsize and another to go. Keep the feeding in line and follow the week 1 veg feeding for these girls, bringing up the ppm closer to 700ppm range. Overall, happy with first couple of weeks of veg. Need to get more roots going, we will, but otherwise just give them the time to mature and take it easy......they will come along😀 Little more detail....... Dec 26/20, Day 22 Veg - Dry out day after being transplanted yesterday. - Pots were still heavy. - Let the microbes in the media do their thing and start pushing root growth harder than what has been happening. Dec 27/20, Day 23 Veg - Gave the girls a little splash of the left over nutes from two days ago to add a little oxygen and they can take the extra microbes and bacteria right now😀 - 200ml with Microbial Mass and Piranha @ 2ml/L = 650ppm and 5.7pH - They are really happy today!!!! Loving the bigger pot to let those valuable roots expand into nice fluffy new coco and soak up the nutrients👍 Dec 28/20, Day 24 Veg - feeding day today with more water to get some runoff from the 1 gal pots. They have not been watered to runoff yet. - 0.5L each girl with the full line for this week. No other additives, just the IPP line = 700ppm and 5.7pH - seems a little high to jump from around 300ppm to 700 but will follow the companies recommendations👍 Dec 29/20, Day 25 Veg - Dry out day. - they are happy today......not much to add otherwise today Dec 30/20, Day 26 Veg - going to give them another day without watering. - I feel like I should be watering today but I am not as I am not sure how much moisture they will have consumed and the roots need some air to breath so holding off. - think it is a CalMag only feeding tomorrow. Dec 31/20, Day 27 Veg - feed day today since it has been a couple of days. - 500ml with CalMag @ 2ml, Gold Storm @ 7ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, Blackstorm @ 2ml, Vitamin B @ 0.5ml = 525ppm and 5.7pH - keeping the humic and fluvic acids going in, plus Kelp and CalMag👍 - the girls are happy and seeing forward movement everyday, looking for more aggressive though from the girls. Jan 1/21, Day 28 Veg - doing very well......like really well💪 - didn’t push them today and left them alone for watering, pots of course still had some weight and I didn’t expect them to need today. - Optic Folier Overgrow given today. Folier spray to give them just an extra boost since everything is otherwise dialed in👍 Finishing off the week very strong!!!!!! They have been looking very healthy and perky everyday. The roots are a concern and will be taking it easy on the nutrients for another week yet and keep up the microbes and beneficials. Will get them in line......my hope is too keep their time in the 1 gals down to two weeks max......maybe 10 days?? Looking pretty good ETS as we move through the first upsize. Her stems are stiffening and they are taking varying temps and humidity in the first weeks well. Feeding has been moderate to light and no signs of any issues......again, still pretty early on but its all good so far😎

I was under watering quite a bit in an attempt to make sure I didn’t flush out the benes and nutrients of the super soil. Ironically, I might have killed all the benes. Lol. Either way, they’re getting about 2.5 gal every other day now. Growing strong. This has been my strongest plant. At the beginning, I wasn’t very stoked on its structure, but I have to say, this is looking like it will be one heavy producer... It’s growing so much Just did another spinosad treatment. This one never really had any damage from thrips, but I haven’t seen any more thrips in the greenhouse since the first treatment 10 or so days ago. Saw a leaf hopper in there though 😡

We flipped the switch and changed the light cycle to 12 hours. Both lemon ladies are doing pretty well, as is the development. Let's hope for a big harvest!

Opium is maturing faster than the other 2 outside photo periods Fractal & Lemon Cake. Many of the feeder leaves are yellow and fall off at the slightest touch. The buds are dense and starting to be sticky. She is strong and resistant to our heat & humidity, and pests. Her tall lanky structure is true to a sativa. She had huge fan leaves and long internodal stretch. This strain would definately need topping or other high stress training to keep her short for a tent grow. Performed some HST this week. Pics and video were taken 2 days after the bending. I bent the main stalk a little lower than 1/2 way down. She was getting a little closer to the HPS light than I liked (but no signs of light burn). I expect her to stand straight up again in a few days but with a new knuckle at the bend point. Then I'll probably bend her over again 👍

Básicamente lo mismo, aunque está semana pilló bastante más horas de luz(tuve que irme fuera de casa dos findes seguidos, en los cuales la dejé con la luz encendida full 24/7 en la caja) Como experiencia utilicé café reposado 48h para "alimentarla" e intentar bajar el Ph de la tierra (coco ph6+hummus ph7+vermiculita ph8= ph total 7) El otro experimento fue cubrir la tierra con coco para que el tallo eche raíces y aprovechar su espigamento! Las horas de luz solía dejarla 8h en bombilla mientras duermo, y el día la pongo en la ventana a que tome el fresco, pero apenas tiene luz directa, me da la sensación que crece más rapido cuando vuelvo del finde, estoy replanteandome tenerla más tiempo en la caja con luz, porque la veo aún pequeña, y quizá ponerle un ventilador de pc o algo🤔..veremos, aún tengo el papel de aluminio al lado de la caja y ni se lo he puesto, con eso os lo digo todo☝️🎃

Just about up to normal feeding, some leaves are starting to get green back some not so much! tricombs are start to turn milky in allot of the chocolate marhsmellow and actually a couple of the DD i might me able to harvest both at the same time Smell is absolutely insane i can smell it around the corner from my apartment 😅

As I stated before this is my mutant plant hehehhe.. looks like buds are fattening up a bit and more light penetrating in the colas.. she seems to be growing.. happy days

So these were meant to be 70 day seeds! And we are on day 75!! They might of been if I did it in a tent with lights and fuck ton of nuts. As I have been doing it in a pop up green house in my garden and using organic nuts (watered-down coffee grounds at veg stage) and then (2-3 banana peels left in water in water for 2 days when flowing) I think they have turn out OK. Still got about 2-3 weeks left I think till harvest. Smell so strong but ever so sweet. Again can not thank you enough everyone that has helped with tips.

Last week went well after I realized that I had the light a tad too close and I had to up cal-mag 1 mL per gallon more. She is showing improvement. It seems that she just had some spotting on some fan leaves as a result of the light being too close. Adjusted the lst ties and other than that, it's been smooth sailing for her. Started giving her big bud during feedings. I am going to say that the next run of this strain will be a good one! Has great potential. Wish I had the light for her to be under by herself from the start, but things happen. I am a believer in the quality of Mars Hydro LED lights and I am going to be using them from now on. So this week is the start of flower !! Woooohooo finally get to show what I'm made of ! Step one ) take all the big fan leaves Step two ) establish a "light line" and take all small shoots that are unable to get the proper amount of light due to their distance from the top of the canopy. * These are the places we all wish would grow ! These are also the places that are at risk of - hermaphroditism - mold - waste of energy for the plant. ** These are also some of the best places to take clones ** Continue to tie and secure everything in preparation of massize buds ! I hope some people looked at this like " This took way too much off " I took ALOT. Yes I push , I push hard to know how much they can take . Yes I would say 60% of plants DO NOT like a massive defoliating. But, the ones who do , you will unlock a yeild like never seen . It's the risk we take . One thing I have noticed is when I'm gonna defoli , I don't combone high stress or toping + a bunch of other techniques . Should have some pretty huge plants by two months !
