again ... i never realized that this much effort went into starting baby girls ... much respect for the ladies. considering she almost died from a broken taproot she is doing really well. the roots are not showing at the bottom of the pot yet, but she seems to have adopted without showing signs of stress. i helped her move from the nursery into her new home. as everything is all-new - new baby, new home, new technology, (relatively) new grower - it seems i am behind trying to get to the front. hpa is fun, i think once everything settles in, it will be very easy to maintain and grow. i have the basic parts work - the high-pressure dosing, the nutrient distribution, the drainage, lighting figured out. i need to vent the tent more to reduce the little heat generated by the lights. i seem to have a few water leaks on at least one push connector on the high-pressure tank. then i think i need to clean up the wiring and nutrient lines. then for me - the real fun can begin. i already started building a computer for this garden - i really look forward to observing the hpa system from a data point of view to understand better how to maintain the best environment for the girl as well as increase operational efficiency.

Very beginning of week 10. She is gearing up for flower. She is stretching, but I keep pulling everything down. She has been 36 inches for a month. She is about 41 wide. 8/13 Her pot was on the dry side. Gave her 2 gallons of water. I'd say 10 percent run off. I use the ph strips. I bring water home from my job. Their water is the perfect PH according to the strips. I test her run off today. Looks like a low 6. 8/14 2 gallons of water with 8 tablespoons of fox farm Big Bloom and 1 teaspoon of recharge. I do like the foxfarm products. Some Big Bloom can make a sick plant healthy. Have to check, think she is ready to be fed. 8/16 per 2 gallons 4 ml Grow Big, 4 ml Tiger Bloom 1/2 teaspoon Open Sesame 8/18 4 Tablespoons Foxfarm Bigbloom and 1/2 teaspoon recharge. Per Gallon 1 day I will get a ph meter. First year spent enough. The plants look very healthy. Unless the strips are completely worthless, she looks to be in her happy place. She was fed very well the past week. I might do 1 more water then feed. She is forming her sites. 8/13. Makes it easy to space the sites out. Also to know what to remove. Have to force myself to cut off what's not making it. Think flower.

Strawberry Amnesia is growing well. She is looking like she will be a shorter plant in the long run. I did some light defoliation on her. Beside that I have not done nothing to her this last week. Everything is looking good. A it late with the update as I broke my phone,. To say it was my 1st harvest was very pleased with the outcome, 38grams dry of mostly tight nugs, trichomes on the main colas were turning Amber so cut those down couple of days earlier and left lower nugs to develop a bit more. Cured for 2 weeks now and buds smelling and smoking great, smooth taste and full of flavour! Next crop been planted very soon.

The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. Her flowering continues to impress me with her trichome production covering her flowers with 'frost' she's a sight for sore eye's! 😍 She's looking to be on track for a 11-12 week finish and will be an epic cultivar when she's done! 10/3- With Week Seven coming to a close we've got 4-5 weeks to go for this lady finish and she's right on track, looking like a Rock Star! 🤩 I watered heavy yesterday and added 1 tsp/g of Unsulfured Molasses to the 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. Second week of flower and I defoliated again. There are small bud sites starting to form at the end of week two flower. The apple fritter has fascination which is making the stems grow interestingly with lots of bud sites.
