Sexy Moma grew 2 inches this week. She is very healthy and bushy!! @STRNGseeds says she is going to be showcasing a complex flavor profile that combines sweet, fruity notes with undertones of pink and skunk. Well pink is my favorite color!! Because Sexy Moma is in the tent AND it is extremely hot outside, I have been having to turn the air conditioner on in the garage where the tent is located. Buds are coming along nicely, they started off with a not so appealing smell but eventually started to smell very sweet. Increased dosage for increased blooming and ripening. Missed update for day 49 but vids from previous day makes up for it. Side note, I created a homemade Co2 bag with ingredients that is easily available and affordable. I don't think I let is have an effect on my buds but it sure did smell awful. After the 5th day, I got rid of it.

Week 7 went well! Took a few more bottom leaves because it was getting quite crowded and they were making it harder to find spots around the rim to bind her to for LST, and they were getting mashed when I had to pick her up anyway. Lots of benign neglect this week... Haven't fed her very heavily or done much other than let her do her thing. Thinking another week or so in veg. Maybe 2. Have to try to time it so my schedule will be open when she finishes so I don't feel tempted to rush again.

pH was still leaning towards the low side earlier in the week, but by Saturday's watering, pH is within desired range. Indoor AC unit is broken this week (will be replaced by next week) - but have been improvising to perform temperature control inside the tent as much as possible. Daytime light is currently set for overnight, as to mitigate overheating during summer months. During this week while we are improvising, the focus is on keeping the tent temperature as close to 80 degrees F (ideally below, but with outdoor air temps being around 100 daily, this is difficult this week). Using ice buckets and multiple oscillating fans to control the temperature as much as possible. Plants are under some stress from this, but leaves are not wilting and are only slightly discolored on some of the tips, which has improved with Saturday's heavy nutrient feed. Will update next week once AC unit is back and tent conditions are more under control, but thankfully plants seem to be making it through, and should bounce back quickly once conditions are back to normal. Nutrient type was switched to Fox Farm Big Bloom; a heavy feeding was performed on Saturday as the plants were a bit nutrient deficient, but will return to maintenance feedings on next feeding. Tuesday's Watering: Plant 2 - 1.25 gallons of water (pH: 5.41) - 0.5 tsp/gal of Bergman's Plant Booster Plant 3 - 1.25 gallons of water (pH: 5.56) - 0.5 tsp/gal of Bergman's Plant Booster Plant 4 - 1.25 gallons of water (pH: 5.91) - 0.5 tsp/gal of Bergman's Plant Booster Saturday's Watering: Plant 2 - 1.5 gallons of water (pH: 6.43) - 1/2 cup/gallon of Fox Farm Big Bloom (heavy feeding) - Height: 28.74 in Plant 3 - 1.5 gallons of water (pH: 6.27) - 1/2 cup/gallon of Fox Farm Big Bloom (heavy feeding) - Height: 23.23 in Plant 4 - 1.5 gallons of water (pH: 6.54) - 1/2 cup/gallon of Fox Farm Big Bloom (heavy feeding) - Height: 27.56 in ***General Hydroponics pH UP solution added. Harvested #2, 40/60 amber to cloudy trichome ratio, couldn't weigh wet 25/10/24 - Harvested #1, 50/50 amber to cloudy trichome ratio Haven't weighed #2 final dry weight yet, still in the process of trimming #2 final dry weight: 273.9g, just under 10 ounces. 02/11/24 - #1 is dry, haven't had time to trim, in jars until I have time. Estimate #1 will yield more then #2 #1 final dry weight: 351.8g, 12.5 ounces 625.7g total off both plants #2 has better bag appeal, smell is very floral and piney. #1 is not as nice looking in appearance but takes the win for smell, has a strong skunk smell, get a whiff of cat piss whenever the jars are opened as well. Was very prevalent in the final week of flower, kept thinking the cats had got into the room and peed somewhere. Overall happy with the results.
