Had a lot going on this week so the plants didnt get any care or maintenance at all other than just checking on the water level a couple times. They need some major defoliation which I wanted to do this week but procrastination is the vibes currently. Will probably get some done next week.... the plants are looking good and most of them are bushing out pretty nice. They dont seem to be stretching as much as they normally do by this time, but they are transitioning to flower. Will probably do a flush and water change soon since they haven't had one in over a month. I'm just anxious to see some frosty buds at this point.

They grew so FAST! It had rained a lot the day before and it was raining that day in the video as well. The wind kept the temperature pretty low and lukil they didn't need that much sunlight yet.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Hey there, week 2 started yesterday, made a reservoir change 12liters of water mixed with remo nutes. Plant looks happy tough Im a bit concerned bout the roots, could it be root rot ? Reservoir temperature sits between 18-21C and I’ve increased the air pumps to 2x 4liter/min

I figured nothing could go wrong with 50% amber / 50% milky trichomes. Harvest day, Medical Mass: Huge buds and no traumas but got bud rot because of too high temps. The best I've ever smoked. Harvest day, Pineapplex Express: Got an early trauma when transplanting but handled it beautifully. Potent smoke. Pretty satisfied for a first grow, and I have a lot of changes for my 2nd grow!

May 8th, the trellis is getting filled out but the biggest plant is still looking bare and small

Still one orange Sherbert lags behind the rest in the race, I’m hoping it will be just s pheno thing rather than a weak spot in my room. All others looking great and possibly better than I’d normally be seeing at this stage of my grow. The plants have started to kick out an aroma, a skunky hash smell I’d say, at the moment anyway. The buds look like they should be fat, of the density I’m not so sure, let’s see how much they fatten up and tighten up. Beautiful covering of frost across all flowering areas covering pistils and leaves. I think at this stage that 3 of the 4 will be ready to harvest at 8 Or 9 weeks the slow one maybe at 10 weeks. ANYBODY!!!! Out there using New millennium WinterFrost. I’m really thinking about hitting the girls with the fear of death when the time comes, is it as effective as I’m lead to believe?????

After all research of why plants are going at different rates the only conclusion Conclusion I’ve come to is to do with the fan being too close to the top left Plant and the Seeds to come from different plants but same strain. Will need to go back to royal queen seeds to ask the question??? Leaf burn from wind burn can slow growth of plants

First time growing ever and let's see how everything turns out. Two different pot sides 5-gallon the other 10 gallons two types of soil .soil with Coco and hydroponic soil.

Harvest took about 3 hours! The buds are big, firm and covered in gluey trichomes! harvest of the highest class!

Week6 of bloom, feeding Cal-mag+Floranova Bloom, both at 1tsp/gal. Each plant receives a glug or two from a 1gallon mixture. Runoff is removed. New Clones of different phenos have entered the arena! Happy growing!

Not a lot to report this week all is good she's bushing like crazy defoliate one day she's a bush the next will be stripping some of the bottom and inside this week. She's demanding more feeding and is looking nice put a wrong pic up so just edited it thanks for reading happy growing guys

Running out of space with the GSC 1 of the GSC is looking great with some really nice flowers coming along the other 2 seem to have a-lot less bulk in the flowers and seem to be stretching a fair amount. I have had to do some super cropping to keep the top of the flowers from getting too close to the light. Had a problem with the nutrient tank filter getting clogged and al, the auto pots drying out! One of the plants had started to wilt. Ended up taking the reservoir out and cleaning it before adding fresh nutes. Have been using professors gold terpintine for flower but have had this problem before the additive ends up causing build up of growth in the tank and this build up blocks the hoses. For now have stopped using and just using: GT FLOWER FOR COCO A & B GT FLUVAIC ACID GT CAL MAG GT POTASSIUM ADDITIVE PPM at around 600 down from 800 as I was getting a bit of tip burn on the shade leaves. Not really happy with how a couple of the plants are progressing, the buds seem way undersized for week 5 but will carry on
