Alright so we on the start of a new week . A few things got adjusted last week height of the lamp , strength of my lamp , the nutrient regime has changed a little bit alternating between voodoo/b52 and Opti A&B/Cal mag . We also changed the lights to 12-12 so essentially this is a 12-12 from seed grow , I've always wanted to see the results so here we go :) I'd like to thank everyone that stops into the diary's both daily and weekly to check out the updates you guys are awesome keep on keeping on ! Hey everyone 😀. On flowering day 59 both came into the darkroom and on flowering day 61 both were harvested :-). Both were very easy to trim 👍. Both of them already smell very tasty but more on the last update because this is only the short intermediate update :-). The trimmed buds were laid out on nets so that they can now dry at 62% humidity for 8-14 days before fermenting with 62% boveda packs in the jars :-). We’re back again fellow growers! How ya been? Tried something different this time around with the pics since ya can’t really see much plant color with the purple lighting ha One new discovery I’ve made with the last slurry is these girls are getting HUNGRY - Feeding is at an all time high - but that may have something to do with a freaking 10 week veg 😂😂😂 Also I accidentally bumped a nug as I was bending some stems around and my god.. the smell emanating from these girls is AMAZING! 10 years ago I would have just squeezed a nug, now I know that’s not the best to do lol Speaking of the past - Does anyone else kinda miss the classic undercover nature of growing from the days old? Where you were watching a guy with a mask & sunglasses on YouTube at 2am climbing in his closet with a bottle of big bloom? Or Chubbs with his late night dabs and stories? Welcome to week 12 💚 I hope for good flower production on the PR and SD this week. Still not sure if the Sundae Driver is a hermie or not, maybe it recovered but i have no clue. The Strawberry Gorilla should continue to put on some weight, I hope she fattens up this week. Happy growing to everyone!

This week was crazy with the weather for couple of days....2 girls didn't see much of light or water like one took it lil better than one.....the other one was left on the battlefield n she sure put up a fight

Dramatic weather here, 2 violent storms have hitted my tent without mayor damages. I've bought a high density polyethylene film from farmer supplier, God blessed for this choice. Strong. But I've made a great mistake on Thursday because I was very busy cropping and curing Royal Gorilla that I've forget to water the sisters. I've watered them on Friday just before I started putting up the tent and the storm started with 90% humidity. It has become a tropical greenhouse, so to avoid mold disasters I drilled some side holes and raised the lower edge. Fortunately, on Saturday my little ones managed to dry themselves well thanks to a little sun and a dry wind. I've learned the lesson. Now that weather is a little bit better but colder I've realised that my plants now love to live under a greenhouse, flowering is accelerating. This plant does its own thing, she started flowering very late but is now doing it very quickly. Return my hatred for her with huge frosty buds and gorgeous colors. She has boundless vigor, I don't think it's possible to burn her with fertilizers. It is not a reliable plant for flowering times but if you have extra space in the garden it is the classic plant that can give surprises. It is difficult to describe the scent, very different from what one smells in general, not pineapple but tropical, herbaceous, sweet. Hope to harvest within 15 days. Very difficult to estimate the yeld because is a huge, tall and very leafy plant. After sister's crop she will gain much more room and light. P. S. Need some help from you guys to trim my Royal Gorilla, need to smoke less, that shit has no respect! 😁😎

2018-04-03 Week 14 Day 1 Not much to say, there isn't much drama going on in growroom 2, the only things I do is giving them water and nutes 2 - 3 times/week and making sure that the lamp don't burn the girls. I gave them 4 liters today, and since they live in smartpots I can see when the pot gets wet when watering the girls, but you could hardly notice that. They are getting thirsty 😛 The flowers are developing very good, they look really healthy and their colors are fine. Crazy Cookies nr 1 is 66 cm Crazy Cookies nr2 is 52 cm 2018-04-04 Raised the lamp to it’s highest level and turned all girls 1/4 turn, it’s really hard to get in to the ladies in the back, I need to push the girls up against the walls on each side and crawl on the floor to be able to turn them and give them water/nutes. Damn these plants, why do they have to grow and become so BIG?! 😆💪 Added a new video, enjoy my SoG 😄 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Strain information: The word synergy is a business term first quoted in the early eighties to describe mutual enhancement through interaction or cooperation, where the end result gained is greater than the sum of the parts used. What do synergy and the Crazy Cookies cannabis strain have to do with each other you may well ask? The parents of the forthrightly indica Crazy Cookies are marijuana royalty. OG Kush and Girl Scout Cookies. These strains of contemporary legend have been combined to cerebrum shattering effect. The cured flowers deliver a mouth-watering and couchlocking 24% THC. The initial delectable spacey upbeat onrush compliments of the Durban Poison coursing through the genes of the Cookies soon becomes a lush and rich, inescapably delicious body flux. There should be a picture of a Crazy Cookie nugget in the dictionary next to the word synergy. Paying this breed some careful attention as it grows will reward you substantially, indoors or out. Typical hybrid vigour is shown throughout each grow phase. Stout plants to 80cm can be expected indoors and muscular examples with fluted stalks growing to two metres can be easily achieved outdoors. Good bracing is necessary as the flowers mature. So grow started with lots of trouble.heat ..bugs .. temperature swings and at the end cold rainy weather.how ever I'm impressed by the bounce back.. heard lots of bad story's over this breeder and the automatics I had where in deed very disappointing. So this mighty Amstel freezeland 2.0.. Liked the growth and loved to see it working.next year I try to grow them somewhere in nature.think they are strong enough.

Starting to see some more amber, but minimal amounts. Definitely seeing the trichomes turning milkier though. Might end up cutting the plant down in half, maybe a week and a half tops, she's been going for sooo damn long. It's day 119 and we decided we're gonna take it down this weekend, the 19th of February will mark the 17th week since it first sprouted, so what better time to chop! We're also going to go the fridge dry method and then cure in Grove bags, hoping for some real nice smelling buds after all this.

Incredibly, they both gave almost the same, 70 grams each. good quality but it was below expectations I felt a difference compared to the cars in the first round maybe my fault or genetics 🤔😅🤪

Well I have to say even though I had a few temperature issues in the night that I think may have stressed them. They took a lot longer than expected but after drying I don’t know how but I ended up with some fantastic tasty buds a few of the plants even came out purple!! I have to say the purple buds are my favourite 🤩 fastbuds never disappoints!!!!!

Week 11 - Day 1 : Pinched branches from subject 1 and 2. As seen in the videos uploaded. Week 11 - Day 2 : Changed water schedule to water-water-feed, watering my plants with 4 Liters per plant every 3th day. Pinched branches recovered successfully. Week 11 - Day 3 : Pinched lower branches of subject 1, take a good look and tell me what you think! Week 11 - Day 4 : Pinches branches of subjects 2 and 3, take a good look and tell me what you think! Week 11 - Day 5 : Pinches branches of subject 1, take a good look and tell me what you think, had my first harvest of ladybugs in the garden and released them on my plants, noticed that I have very little spider mites on my plants. Posted week 1 to 9 on my diary. Week 11 - Day 6 : Woke up to subject 5 being damaged, What could have caused this? Too heavy branches? Maybe an animal that accidentally broke the branch and took off. 2nd net is up. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. My homework. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration.Structural Component: Nitrogen is an essential building block for all proteins, and the sheer abundance of the Rubisco protein makes it the single largest storage of nitrogen in the leaf. Synthesis and Activity: Adequate nitrogen supply is crucial for the synthesis and maintenance of sufficient Rubisco enzyme and Rubisco activase (Rca), the regulatory protein responsible for maintaining Rubisco's active state. Nitrogen deficiency leads to a decrease in the content and activity of both Rubisco and Rca, which in turn limits the maximum carboxylation rate, Vmax, and the rate of RuBP regeneration Jmax, thus reducing overall photosynthetic capacity. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. Biochemical and Environmental Approaches: Optimize Rubisco Activase (Rca) activity: Rca is a crucial chaperone protein that removes inhibitory sugar phosphates, such as CA1P (2-carboxy-D-arabinitol 1-phosphate), from the Rubisco active site, thus maintaining its catalytic competence. •Ensure optimal light conditions: Rca is light-activated via the chloroplast's redox status. Adequate light intensity ensures Rca can effectively maintain Rubisco in its active, carbamylated state. •Maintain optimal temperature: Rca is highly temperature-sensitive and can become unstable at moderately high temperatures (e.g., above 35°C/95F° in many C3 plants), which decreases its ability to activate Rubisco. Maintaining temperatures within the optimal range for a specific plant species is important. •Optimize Mg2+ concentration: Mg2+ is a key cofactor for both Rubisco carbamylation and Rca activity. In the light, Mg2+ concentration in the chloroplast stroma increases, promoting activation. •Manage ATP/ADP ratio: Rca activity depends on ATP hydrolysis and is inhibited by ADP. Conditions that maintain a high ATP/ADP ratio in the chloroplast stroma favor Rca activity. Enhance Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzyme activity: The overall rate of RuBP regeneration can be limited by other enzymes in the cycle. •Increase SBPase activity: Sedoheptulose-1,7-bisphosphatase (SBPase) is a key regulatory enzyme in the regeneration pathway, and increasing its activity can enhance RuBP regeneration and overall photosynthesis. •Optimize other enzymes: Overexpression of other CBB cycle enzymes such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolase (FBA) and triose phosphate isomerase (TPI) can also help to balance the metabolic flux and improve RuBP regeneration capacity. Magnesium ions, Mg2+, are specifically required for Rubisco activation because the cation plays a critical structural and chemical role in forming the active site: A specific lysine residue in the active site must be carbamylated by a CO2 molecule to activate the enzyme. The resulting negatively charged carbamyl group then facilitates the binding of the positively charged Mg2+ion. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Mg deficiency becomes limiting: If Mg2+ is deficient under these conditions, the higher levels of Rubisco and Rubisco activase produced cannot be fully activated, leading to lower photosynthetic rates and potential photo-oxidative damage. Optimal range: Studies show that adequate Mg2+ application can enhance Rubisco activation and stabilize net photosynthetic rates under stress conditions, but the required concentration is specific to the experimental setup. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. We’re driven to question defaults when we experience vuja de, the opposite of déjà vu. Déjà vu occurs when we encounter something new, but it feels as if we’ve seen it before. This week went ok to. notice last time I updated my diary she started going into the flower so I've swapped to expert nutrients bloom with a ph of 6.8 . I don't think she is going to be anything too special which is okay because it tells me I have some work to do . I'm going to try breeding the seeds that I have with a larger auto at the end of year . Thank you for looking up the diary and will be an update next week 🌱👍

12/7 These ladies are doing great! Really focusing on their buds. We added a small bit of cal mag and it seemed to pretty much stop any brown growth. #1 is just stacking buds while #2 has more and more cloudy trichomes daily. Started doing a little bit of defoliation to open up those inner sites, just gonna do a little more when she recovers from the last sessions. We are getting close to the finish line, hang in there!
