I am late this week because on the girls' 8 week birthday, they both started looking HORRIBLE, and I was scrambling for a couple days. Looking back, documenting those moments is probably more helpful than just showing pictures of everything going smoothly. I think it might have been a Zinc deficiency, but it all boiled down to poor nutrient, pH, and watering practices. This is my first grow, so the more I learn the better! New leaves were forming brown tips, growth was stunted overall, and the veins on the leaves were becoming very prominent and white. After a day or so, the tips and edges of leaves started to curl up or "taco". So I flushed the plants for the first time. One recovered really well in 24 hours while the other improved a bit, but was still looking sad. I ended up flushing her a second time the next day. Soil for both plants is still pretty damp but should be flushed well, and once it completely dries out, I can amend my feeding practices and give them another ~week before flowering. I'm going to cut the nutrient amounts in 1/2, only feed nutrients with every other watering, and also give the plants more water to allow the proper amount of run-off. I guess this is very important in preventing a build up of nutrients in the soil. Hey, you live and you learn! Also started trying some super cropping because I want to try it all, haha.

Fastbuds seeds Gorilla zkittles auto Only using spring water for first week and spraying with foop mist. Going to use foop nutrients with Humboldts secret cal/mag and nectar for the gods ph up and down! Planted right into substrate. I’m using Mother Earth coco coir/perlite mix with hydroton at bottom of pot

Temps and humidity are getting up there and harder to control. Equipment is working harder to keep cool. Heatwave forecasted for next week:( Got old lights switched out for new Mars TS series:) Ladies might need to be watered everyday soon as they are taking a lot more every other day. Don’t want them to dry out to much. Added some mulch to help with the top layer from drying right out between waterings. Want to keep the top alive and not die off as the sides of the pot also dry up and really only the centre stays healthy between waterings. That’s why I have now decided in future grows that I’ll being going with large pots, like 30-45 gallon and fewer plants, maybe 1-2 and grow longer for bigger roots!

Girls are really stretching now!! I’m surprised as to how much the Dosi is outgrowing the Maui!! The genetics and overall strength of the strains are really showing at this point I believe. Gave them all another good defoliation to enhance light to cola sites and adjusting neuts to the flowering schedule. Everything is looking super healthy even the little seedling that I think turned out to be both females. Although they are super small the little they produce will be banger since it’s a lemon skunk strain. Set 1&2 are out the green house in an outdoor setting but still under light....did some transplanting gonna do the rest in the upcoming week hopefully n maybe take some cuts other than that everything else running smooth Harvest the mother tree at the beginning of the week with would be about 6 weeks....took a few samples n she's hitting to say only dry a few days scent, flavor and effect are on point....still curing her out

Defoliated a bit more, feeding sugar royal and green sensation. The smell is really coming through now.

Has a big and heavy buds, some branches falling down because of their heavy weights. Perfect strain for the daytime and creative jobs. If you like a clean high daytime this one is definitely for you 😊 Peace and Love to everybody!0

So this is a good experiment, lets see indoors how she will compare. —GERMINATION— My germination process always start by scarifying the seeds, i created a little tool for that. I just a little container with sandpaper walls. Shake gently for about 60 secs+, this allows for the water to penetrate better in the seed shell, once you soak. Then i soak overnight from 12 to 20 hours max. From there i either plant straight or use the paper towel method to see the tap root before. By much new this week except some light smell coming off the griks

The buds continue to grow and there are more and more trichomes :) I'm now watering with 4 ml/l of Bio-Bloom which is the maximum dosage recommended by the data sheet. The plants look well and the yellowing of the leaves almost stopped. There are yellow leaves appearing on the O.G. Kush. I think they are too close from the light but since most of the plant looks healthy, I will not move it away from the light. Harvest period is slowly coming. I think they will need around 4 more weeks to be ripe.

Commencing week 5/Day 29: on Nov 21st Day 29 All is doing well now and a few more plants have roots in water but tomorrow is going to be well below freezing as well as the humidity has dipped very low Day 32 Still growing steady the cold temps and low humidity haven't hurt or slowed them down too much Day 34 Happy to say 6 out of 8 girls have pretty massive root masses developed in past week into bucket. I have been very lightly foliar feeding every day a slightly acidic low ppm solution. Lights were put back on timer since the temp and humidity are going back up I don't need the lights for heat. pH has remained steady for past two days in low to mid 5.8s. Is this too steady I wonder 🤔 I put on fans today today as well as under lighting LED strip. D35 Am check-in and all is going well. All 3 Gorilla Zkittlez are absolutely killing it, way bigger than the rest of the bunch. Although the 818 Headbands and the Raspberry Diesel are not far behind. Unfortunately both the Boss Hoggs seems to be runt-ish. One especially is really funny looking. But I always cheer for the under dog in the fight so who knows 😎 Turned off under lighting. Growing how it is growing. Grows great outdoors. Still smells like coconut and strawberries. Haven't been adding anymore fertilizers just letting it grow naturally.

So hears my thoughts?? Instead of giving my "sensi grow COCO" dude gave me the normal sensi grow which as I'm a newbie, I didn't realize??? Was happily feeding it to my girls THINKING im@ 6.5ph which I CLEARLY wasn't!!!! Anyways, I brought Cal-mag agent from canna and they fuckin love it!!!!!! ALL my new growth is nice and green :) I'm now ph'ing to 6.0 and THINK I've rolled all my issues back????? Feeding now 1.0ml a&b with 0.70ml Cal-mag, will lower my calmag to around 0.30ml and over the next few days then feed that throughout my grow cycle, if they get to green ill obviously remove it from my regime...

She is thriving and has been my favorite auto Ive grown so far. Always wanted to try some Ethos genetics and I finally got the chance.

Difficult strain to grow if you can’t check some parameters... colors, smells, Frost is unbelievable Her sister go surely better and need more weeks to go Waiting for revenge against pH !!

Day 36 I've just tightened up the LST and watched them grow. Tomorrow I'm gonna feed them cause the soil is dry enough. At least 10cm beneath the surface. Day 37 I've watered each one of them with: -2L pH 6.2 water at 20.5°C with -1ml/L Biobizz Top-Max -2ml/L Biobizz Bio-Bloom Run off was 700-850 ppm pH 6.3 Day 38 I've just watched them. Day 41 I've adjusted some LST and a little defoliation again because they are stretching now Even if they look a little bit small I'm happy so far with my first grow.
