Day 29: As my plant is entering the pre-flower stage, I’ve adjusted her nutrition accordingly. To support the stretch, I decided to only use a mix of grow and bloom nutrients. I’m using half the amount recommended in the feeding chart because, in my last grow, one of my plants showed signs of nitrogen toxicity. Day 30 and 31: The weather has been excellent, promoting rapid growth. She’s growing so quickly that I have to adjust the LST daily. The first pistils are appearing, and the tied-down side branches are shooting upwards again. I still bring her back onto the balcony overnight due to the unusually high number of snails, and I'm tired of doing nightly patrols.still feels weird to walk out of my garden with weed plants without worrying. It's fucking legal 🤟🏽 Day 32: The weather has turned into a mix of heavy rain, thunderstorms, and extreme humidity. In a previous grow, I had to remove two plants due to bud rot, so I’m being extra cautious with this one. While inspecting the undersides of the leaves, I discovered some spider mites. I removed them by hand and brought the plant inside. I then sprayed a solution of 0.5 liters of water mixed with 1.5 ml of neem oil on and under the leaves. I plan to repeat this treatment tomorrow, which should resolve the issue. Since the buds are still in early development, the neem oil should not cause any problems. Day 34: The weather was really nice today with no rain, just a little wind. I adjusted the LST once again as she's getting very bushy. I had to remove a few leaves to ensure the lower branches receive enough light. Before going to bed, I sprayed her all over with neem oil one last time. No more neem oil after that because I don't want to fuck up the taste.

Another solid week of this lady just vegging along. MegaCrop is fueling her growth and she's really guzzling down the water, nearly 16 oz every 18 hrs. If there was a mini hydro category in this grow off I'd decimate all 🤣... Stay tuned I'd say we'll be seeing pistils within a few days, then the fun begins!!

The growing cycle it self worked out as expected, except that the pH-level was way off from where it should be, and I found out a bit too late. Because of this the outcome of the harvest didn't say much about the potential of this strain, but as soon as I got enough time and space, she will get a new chance to shine. 2018-03-01. This is my review / smoke report of this lovely cbd flower. There are rock hard buds and almost no give at all, even in those smaller buds. When you grind it the scent will appear more than just smelling on the buds. It smells a little weak of grass, wood, bark, sweet, lemon, honey, skunk and some kind of spice. The taste is orange, mandarin, honey, bark, popcorn and pepper. The effect is directly, the thc feeling above the eyes and in the forehead, it fells like its a higher thc levels in this strain compered to the cbd strains i tried before. A little light ringing in the ears and a slight dry mouth. After 10 minutes, the cbd kicks in and and balance the thc high. The neck and shoulders begin to relax and the feeling continues down over the back and chest down to the stomach. A calming, relaxing, and slightly energetic feeling. After 15-20 minutes it is down in the legs and feet, and you can feel a vibrating feeling in your muscles, joints in a pleasant way. It reduces my tense muscles and some of the nervpain i got. Its a good strain for releasing stress and get you in a relaxed and satisfied mood. It is a very well-balanced strain and it fits in all sorts of contexts. If you take this in the morning or mid day it will give you a small energy boost and get you in the mood for doing something. I think this is a lovely strain and I highly recommend it to everyone but especially for more inexperienced people that dont like the high thc strains and want to have a good relaxant, pain controlling, anti depressant medication that also can give energy or help with getting to sleep. This is a must try strain.

I was so excited to see some weed leaves pop out. Everyday the plants got noticeably bigger. I’m making sure their environment stays as consistant as possible. I did encounter my first issue. I went to refill my humidifier turns out the water had turned green. I emptied the tank into a glass you can see in the pics. Washed it and ill make sure to do so more frequently. I’m guessing it was stagnant for too long and algae grew? Has this happened to anyone? What cause it?

Straight up a very nice easy to grow strain so far you guys just dam this is crazy how fast she grew .. The stems are still stretching right now and the smell is very nice when you run the stem .. The team over at @originalsensibleseeds has some bomb genetics going on here . Cheers

Now I started to see they drink much more. Last time it was 3 days between watering. This time it was only 1 day since they got 1L water. Maybe increase 1L to 1.5L next time. Summary for the day: I still do some LST but truing to do less and focusing on spreading the tops. LED in 40cm full effect. Days 74 - 80 (from seed) 4/15/24 - 4/21/24 Lamp distance: 13" @ 50% power (estimate PAR?) VPD: not checking - humidity set to 40% Feed schedule: feed schedule once a week, 1/4 gallon water per plant daily - FPE added at 2oz per gallon every third day IPM: visual inspection only Notes: Final push, fading occurring on all plants now and some amber starting to show during trichome inspection. Cookies & Berries taking the most time of the group to finish while Mango Sky crossed the finish line first. All four plants will be chopped next week on the morning after the full moon, April 24th - according to the moon gardening calendar it is "best time to pick medicinal herbs and plants, while flowers if cut during this time have an intense scent and endure longer." They're close to finished in my book so it can't hurt to follow the lunar suggestion.

As you can see, we might have a couple weeks left She's startin a pack on some serious weight up top.. These plants got huge. Two of the three were immune to powdery mildew. The third was highly resistant. Saying resistance was strong doesn't do them justice. I included one of the buckets of buds with weight. I had to do that 9 and 10 times depending on plant. Everything went smooth. We missed all the bad weather and got a good dry couple of days to finish harvest. These went a little longer than the 7 weeks. I believe that's because of the suns travel to the south. As it travelled these girls didn't get full sun until after 9:30 a.m. and until 4.20 p.m. They were definitely worth the wait.

After three weeks in the solo cups I transplanted to 1 gallon pots and three days later I noticed yellowing on one of the plants so in 16oz of water I mixed in 1/4 tsp of Epsom salt and gave it to both plants in fear of magnesium deficiency but the other plant is thriving and growing strong. These days it managed to have some nice sun light, but most days the sky is cloudy.. Had to bend several branches to make it fit in the greenhouse, but she's still growing strong!

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Growing big and strong, theres some marks on the leaves nothing bad it seems, looks like a catterpillar is guilty hopefully. I added dr greenthumbs mycos because who doesnt like a funguy.
