D50 - The start of week three of flower and all is well. There isn't much to do at this point since the training is mostly done, and the watering is automated. D54 - The girls were home alone while I was gone on a trip. I'm sure they didn't miss me as everything was running automatically, but the differences between the two girls were more noticeable upon my return. The first is taller and more stretchy, with smaller, less developed buds, while the second is squatter, with much longer, fatter buds. I suspect that the second girl will finish sooner, but we'll see with time. The first girl stretched in my absence, and the canopy is now somewhat slanted, but I will try to even it out tomorrow. D56 - The last day of week three of flower. I was able to even out the canopy a bit, although there is still a bit of slant. There is only so much you can do when you're in a confined space.

D71/F24 - 11.29 - just a very beautiful happy purply lady <3 Recovered from defoliation well. D76/F29 - 12.4 - Chuggin along in her glorious purpliness. Unfortunately she gotta battle a littler for light given the size of her TCC sativa heavier neighbors. Maybe move her to the 3x3 soon so she gets all she needs. Such a delightful splash of color in blanket of yellows and greens <3

I’m really just updating with photo dumps at this point lol but this white widow is proving to be f*cking massive and these buds are looking like they’re going to STACK!!! I defoliate here and there lightly and open the canopy to get some light further down. She fills a 2x2 out completely! My next run will consist of a few of these for sure!! Should be a great harvest!!

I'm starting pre-flowering, letting it adapt and revegetate a bit. I would have liked to give it more, but I've learned my lesson for next time, maximizing my results. I'm waiting for some Under Canopy lights to try them out and I've been trying to finish the grow room. And I need to change this SCROG net; I didn't like it, you can't guide everything properly.

1️⃣2️⃣ Final Week Flower : 11/05 - 16/05 💡 Light schedule: 24 hours 📏 Lamp To Plant Distance: 60cm ⚡ Dimming: 100% 🌡️ Average temperature: 23,5° ☔ Average humidity: 60% ------------------------------------------------------------- Finally, we’ve reached the final week, and I think they'll be ready by May 16th. The remaining 14 days are reserved for drying. I decided to do one last defoliation, removing all the leaves that were too damaged and allowing the light to penetrate more deeply. There’s a mix of photos showing them before and after the defoliation. Speaking of light, last week I changed the cycle, and until the 16th, they'll be on 24/24 light—first time I'm trying this method instead of the usual 2 days of darkness. On the 16th, I'll take them out of the tent and snap the final photos. It hasn’t been an easy journey... Right at the start, during germination, while handling the pots, I dropped the light on top of them. I had to germinate a new seed, which became R03. Later, during the vegetative stage, I dropped the R02's pot, affecting her so much that she's now on the balcony and half the size of the others (to be fair, R01 and R03 grew so much that they completely took over the tent 😅). Then there was my excitement when preparing the soil, which ended up being a bit too hot with nutrients, causing both plants to yellow earlier than expected. I tried to correct this by watering without nutrients for a while; it didn’t help much, but I believe if I hadn’t done that, things would’ve been worse. Even with all that, they turned out to be big girls, with plenty of bud sites, and they’re now entering that final phase of fattening up.! Let’s see what they can do in these last 5 days! 💚 ----------------------------------------------------------------- #13/05/2025 I can already see some final improvements, hehe. I watered them one last time with 3.5L of plain water each, because on May 16th, or at the latest the 17th, it's time to cut and put them to dry for the remaining days of the contest. Everything is super tight around here, but we’re going to make it! 💪🏻 I'm thinking of doing a wet trimming when I cut the plants and put them to dry. This way, I can speed up the drying process and gain an extra day or two with them in the tent. 👨🏻‍🌾 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 16/05/25 I'm going to leave them for one more night, from the 16th to the 17th. What an awesome thing to walk in on starting off week three all the girls were praying and just getting so fat, I really need to strip some fan leaves off the mom. They look great, the smaller cuts definitely aren't as good as the 4-6" cuts are, they were MAYBE 3-4" cuts and pretty small, but they are extras anyways so it doesn't matter, just seeing what they do. I'm excited for them to have all this space to stretch out when I pick up another light. Last day of week three and I couldn't be happier, I absolutely have to cut thicker clones , these smaller ones all got a bulbous base? Not sure what that's about but we will see how they develop. They are extras anyways but still nice to figure it all out.

Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again!
