A week full of adversities, lots of mold on the main buds. I increased ventilation and air exchange, but unfortunately it wasn't enough. I lost the biggest top of Baker's #1 due to mold, and to prevent the harvest and reduce plant transpiration (since I couldn't lower the humidity), I decided to remove some buds from most of the plants at the end of week 7. I left the most promising ones and those where I didn't see mold. I left the tent open every day and night to reduce humidity, but I still had problems with some moldy buds at the end of week 8. But it's all good, everything has been a learning experience so far. I've made good friends and continue to learn more each day. I have some clones that are revegetating and maybe I'll bring a new project. Thank you to everyone who dedicated some of their time to this diary. Separating the Heat from the Garbage ✂️🗑️ Week 9, and it's time for some honest talk. This week was all about damage control and heavy pruning. To be completely blunt, these FastBuds RF3 genetics are a massive mixed bag. The Strawberry is looking absolutely terrible, and it’s clear the Guava is going to be a total disappointment too. Just zero potential on those two. The only saving grace in the tent right now is the Banana Purple Punch she is actually holding it down, stacking nicely, and showing some real quality. At this stage, I'm just cleaning up the trash phenos, focusing on the Banana, and pushing through to the finish line. Not every run can be a winner, but we ride it out until the end! 🤷‍♂️💨

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Starting to see some frost not much but the smell is dank. Can’t wait to exhale the smell and hope it get me high as hell. This stage of growing is slow. I guess because you are always looking at the clock. “Is she ready yet”

The plant is doin very well, the colas are all getting bigger and the resin production is huge. I'm near the harvest so within few days I'll give her the last nutrients ans the next week I'm gonna flush her. I'm very happy about this plant, she takes nutes very well and give zero problem.

First week in the substrate is done! 👊🏽🌱 This week I started feeding with Plagron fertilizers and kept the environment around 26–27°C with around 75% humidity. So far everything is going well and the plants are settling nicely into the substrate. Let’s see how they go from here! 🔥

What can I say THC Bomb looks like it is gonna try to become a monster. It is really loving the Spiderfarmer SF-1000 light. I believe it is flowering slower, due to the persistent stretching still. Which is a good thing. I increase more blooming nutrition, and am lowering nitrogen levels. I also added a top layer of dynomyco for additional fungal action for flowering.
