This plant was germinated along side three other strains , it stayed short and compact ,it was very leafy and compact . If I was to grow it again I would spread and thin out the canopy and defoliate more heavily . This strain was in a10 litre pot and produced 90g of dried trimmed bud . It was a low producer but the flower is really nice , a very enjoyable evening flower through a volcano vaporizer.

I keep increasing the light and she seems to enjoy it, growing new bud sides and leaves everyday. Defoliation continues. I can’t go below 25-26 Celcius due to increased light though. She has also been moved to back middle.

During vegetative growth, blue light promotes lateral branch development effectively. Well this should be fun 🙃 Thanks to all my growmies out there for stopping by its much appreciated 👈 👉Happy Growing👈

D71. Week five of flower and the girls are simply doing their thing. I scouted the plants today and found thrips on the second girl. I was hoping the lacewings would have gotten them all by now, but no such luck. I'll give them a week before ordering another batch. For some reason, the thrips avoid the first girl. Visually, there's also a clear difference between the two girls, with the first girl being darker and having more buds. ------------------------------ D73. I brewed a short (6 hours) compost tea today consisting of worm castings, kelp meal, neem meal, humic and fulvic acid, rock dust, biochar, and molasses. After the brew, I added homemade Bokashi juice, which lowered the pH of the tea to 6.6. Each girl got 2.5 liters of tea (5% of pot volume.) I also did another light round of defoliation, down low on the plants. ------------------------------ D75. Each girl got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with 5 ml of FFJ. The plants stretched SO MUCH after flipping them into flower that it's challenging for the light to penetrate the canopy, and it's pretty dark further down. I bought some LED grow light strips and installed them in the tent to provide additional side lighting. It's only 36 W of extra lighting, but I hope it will help to develop the numerous buds down low. I put the lights on the left side of the tent, around the first girl, since she has a lot more buds, but now that it looks like the concept works, I might get another set of lights for the right side of the tent. ------------------------------ D77. We've reached the end of the fifth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Ahem, almost all since I still have the thrips to contend with, BUT I just put a bunch of Cucumeris predatory mites in the tent, so the war rages on. A friend suggested adding white cloth below the plants to reflect more light toward the lower buds. Sounds plausible, but I didn't have any fabric, so I went all ghetto by simply putting strips of kitchen paper on top of the scrog net. Not the most fantastic reflector material ever, but it's what I had at hand. Plus, it's easy to work with and costs next to nothing. I doubt it will make a big difference, but even a slight increase is still an increase, and I could see a visible difference in the amount of light hitting the lower canopy. Finally, each plant got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.3, with FFJ and Bokashi Juice. ------------------------------

Hey y'all week 8 in 3 days and things seems to be going not half bad. There's yellowing going on and I think that's due to me not checking my runoff and not correcting but they are in ranges of 6.4 to 6.8 ehhhh I know. But won't let that happen again. Besides that have you seen the frost on these lady's so far, especially for Pheno 1 she is super frosty and has a nice 🍇 🍋 smell that keeps getting better by the week. Pheno 2 smells like lemon citrus and Pheno 3 has a nice 🧀 🍇 smell going for her. Pheno 4 on the other hand is very subtle at the moment but I'll keep my fingers crossed. Till next week growmies Happpy growing y'all 🤙✌️

Hey Friends, end of Week 10 from seed Colas are looking Very nice Noticed some orange color on some leaf tips so I lowered the amount nutrition when feeding I used a magnifier to have a closer look at the colas, trichomes used to looked like little crystals, now they are bigger and cloudy. So far no amber coloring on trichomes I need some advice as to when I should begin flushing and harvest Smell is slowly getting stronger, like a muffin with a small touch of gas ⛽️ Looking Forward in seeing some bud growth in the following week, will keep you guys posted!

Aug 16: Mimosa Shot is progressing but it has been cool and rainy lately. There are indications of P deficiency because of the cool weather. The top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom will do its thing so I’m not worried about it. Hoping for more direct sunlight though.

She's finally looking like she is close to finishing. I have cut back on watering and nutrients. She is finally exuding a wonderful fruity aroma. As you can see, she is beginning to sparkle with trichomes, both on the buds and leaves. I pruned back the remaining fan leaves in order to allow her to put all her energy into the final bud production, as well as to allow more light inside the canopy. The description said this White LSD should finish between 8 & 10 weeks. I could be wrong but, I believe she might go into the 11th week before it is time to harvest. The trichomes are approximately 20% cloudy as of today. Until next week, enjoy!

It was a busy week full of events. I got them a 600 watts HPS light and microbes to help them grow faster. I finally started the trellis netting to even the canopy and get more from the lights and I also spray the plants again for bugs. I found out that I've been using powder nutrients on my reservoir and that's probably why I've been getting floods two or tree times a week and now the valve is open only when I'm there, because I'm sick of cleaning and I took that little sick plant out. My cats have her now.

As of day 14, the Blackberry is growing well! The growth is vigorous and pretty healthy, so I am going to just keep doing what I am doing. I am temporarily using dry cal-mag crystals to the same ppm/EC (.5-.6) as calimagic hasn't caused any issues yet. I can make my way through the bag I have before buying more calimagic, and not be wasteful! The Blackberry will be ready to be topped this week, so that will definitely be updated when the time is right. Happy growing, and stay safe everyone! 🌱👍 Day 15: plant has been FIMed! Day 17: the plant is continuing to have healthy vegitative growth. I am waiting for slightly longer branches, and then I can start training the plant. Day 19: good, bushy growth 👍

8/12/24 - 8/18/24 Start of Flower - 1st Full Week Saw a potential for Nitrogen Toxcitiy. Dark green, almost black tips, downward pointed. #1 was 35 cm @ 8pm-ish. #1 was 40 cm @ 8pm-ish. #1 was 45 cm @ 8pm-ish. "2:30 am-ish - Going for a ""flushing"" watering. Hoping to slightly lower the suspected nitrogen levels. Warning Watch: Runoff was 5.6 pH, EC 3.2, 1650 ppm500, 2250 ppm700 at the end. Might be high but another flushing watering will calm it. #1 was 51 cm @ 10pm-ish." They looked great throughout the day. "1:00am ManBear (friend's name) became the proud surragote father for #4. She became his to manage the way he sees fit. #1, #3, and #4 have not been watered since Day #20. I suspect they will need it soon. #1 in now 60cm at 1am-ish. 6:30pm: Flush watering of #1 #1 was 65"

Been too busy to update the last few weeks, but they’re surviving longer then I expected. When I received my new light I did not take in consideration of the heat output and within the first night of use the tent reached a scorching 88 degrees

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. 1st week has been OK. Not really much to report on. This plant is where I would expect it to be at this stage. Fan controller set so max temp should be 26deg and max humidity 80% Day 1 did nothing Day 2 did nothing Day 3 did nothing Day 4 rigged up autofeed system and watered this weeks nutes. Day 5 autofeed this weeks nutes. Day 6 did nothing, 109ppfd 7.1 dli Day 7 increased mars ts1000 power. 170ppfd 11 dli. Back in a week. Take it easy.
